Bonnie Cafe

Traveling in the area and stopped here for lunch today. We were pulling a 30 foot trailer, so space to park it was a must. Bonnie Cafe had room so we stopped. We found they had a buffet and that was wonderful! The food was so much better than your average buffet. Fried chicken was moist and delicious, as were all the other selections . There were many homemade desserts that were available with the buffet dinner. The service was excellent and the staff was caring and attentive. The restaurant itself was very clean and well cared for. The value was exceptional!

My server, whose name I cannot remember, treated me very well today and the food was delicious! It’s nice to go somewhere and be treated with dignity unlike many other places. Here, your comfort and satisfaction are prioritized and the people who work here are incredibly solid with what they do. 15/10!

I absolutely loved the food and the waiters had humor and were really nice I ordered the first this on the breakfast menu and it was so worth the wait, the food tasted so good and anyone who passes through here should try it now it's so good. 🤤

The Bonnie Cafe in Nashville IL is very nice!! They were quick to great is and let us pick our own seats. They have wonderful buffet that my sister and husband enjoyed, and I had the waffle with bacon. Our server went above and beyond to make certain coffee was always warm and we had everything we needed. All the food was delicious. I would highly recommend The Bonnie Cafe for breakfast or lunch. They aren’t open for dinner.

Buffet is always good if something isn’t fresh I ask for a replacement and it’s quickly brought out, good service and friendly people.

The atmosphere is very basic. However, the food and wait staff made up for that to me. Can't speak for everything on the menu, but the burger I had was straight out of my childhood. Just that simple burger isn't the healthiest, but you will enjoy it as a treat.

It was worth the detour off I-64. The buffet looks great but we ordered off the menu.

Great little find on a road trip from IN back to CO. We were looking for a chain restaurant and saw this place. It looked inviting the grounds and parking lot were clean. Buffet was an option that you don't see often especially after COVID. We were met with a smile as soon as we hit the door and taken to our seat. Buffet looked great so why not try it. I was so surprised that each item I tasted from the pickled beets to the hot wings were really good. The husband and I probably between the two of us sampled everything they had to offer on the buffet and we were surprised it was all excellent. Asked the lady to cook a burger with cheese for our dog that was waiting in the car. She quickly delivered and we received our bill they gave us a discount which was a great surprise as well. Definitely will put this place on the list of future stops. Great job Bonnie's Cafe you definitely impressed.

What a great place!! Best fried chicken on the planet that I have found. Fresh Buffet and everything was amazing. We were on our way back to Colorado from Indiana. I wanted to just take this place with me. Me and the wife will be back on our next visit to family for sure

First time there service was outstanding food was good we got there around 11 am buffet was set up and looked good but we came for breakfast and it was great 👍 staff looked as pleased with work everyone said hello and asked if everything was okay. Very pleased 😀

Absolutely one of your best places I've ever eaten! I'm from the other side of the country and we stopped here on a whim! So so so glad we did! Only 13 bucks for 2 full breakfast meals and it was the best home style for I've ever gotten from anywhere that's not home! Will definitely be going again when I get the chance! The staff treated us like family! Some of the customers starred at us but it's a small town and we were definitely not from around there! But we couldn't of asked for better!

Perfect 5 stars all the way across the board. The owner of this restaurant should be proud of the workers he has here bc the service is incredible the food is always good. And I work next door to the restaurant which is totally unfair bc I smell all that good food lol. Our waitress was super awesome and so is the other staff. That keeps me coming back. That buffet wow I can’t stay away from it.

Absolutely amazing food and staff. It was nice to have a home-cooked style meal after being on the road. The serving staff were very friendly and cheerful, making our dining experience a pleasant one. This is a must eat here place if you're in the area.

This was the first time my family and i have eaten here. We arrived on a Saturday with a party of 8, at 2:30 p.m., and they close at 3:00p.m. I poked my head in through the front doors and asked if it was too late for a good sized party to get something to eat. The kind waitress told me that there was plenty of food and plenty of time. We had a very delicious meal and everything was served fresh and hot. We had a couple of grandkids with us and you know how messy little 3 and 5 year olds can be. Our waitress told us not to worry about any mess and enjoy ourselves. My family and I will definitely be back to grab a meal from the Bonnie! Thank you all so much for being so kind and understanding!!!!

Today (01/03/2021). Food and service was great. A place to dine and relax. I gave this place five stars.
