Honestly, I'm not really sure where to begin. OMG!!! For sure 10/10. Thank you so much Mr. Bob for making my wedding day just magical. Everything turned out perfect. From the day we met, to the big day. Everything was amazing.

If one could only chose a single word to describe Bob Johnson it would be, simply stated, an artisan. He is so unbelievably talented, kind, courteous, and professional. The cakes he creates are extraordinarily phenomenal and delectably delicious. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Couture Cakes.

Bob did my wedding cake and grooms cake which are still featured on his website. Both cakes were gorgeous, moist, and he was so kind to us. What an AMAZING bakery!!! Thanks Bob

Despicable to say the least!

After much thought, I have decided that it is time for me to say something!! I usually don't make posts like this but I will not stand for being treated badly from any business! My husband Terence Williams and I decided to utilize the skill and expertise of Bob Johnson owner of Couture Cakes for our wedding cake. We met with him nearly 8 mths in advance to discuss the details of our cake and we were assured that he was capable of making the cake come to life! Me being the person I am, found several pictures to present to him so that there would be no confusion as to what we wanted. In my absence we even utilized FACETIME to meet with Mr. Johnson to ensure the cake was to our satisfaction. (Please see pictures)

Believing in his ability to make the cake of our dreams, after our many consultations, I had no reason to doubt that on my wedding day my cake would not be anything less than the best. To my surprise on my wedding day, I was horrified at my husband's side of the cake!! It looked as if an 8 year old with no concept of shapes or size decided to make a cake with play-doh! I was absolutely mortified!!! We paid close to $1K for this cake and on my wedding day I got something worse than I ever imagined.

The most disheartening thing was that Terence and I tried to reach out to Mr. Johnson to rectify this matter peacefully and outside of the public eye, but Mr. Johnson decided to ignore our messages and then when he did reply, he attempted to place blame on Terence Williams and I for our choice of design. We attempted several more times to reach Mr. Johnson but he still is ignoring us and now his fellow customers (namely Susan Bradley Matos) are ATTACKING us because of our reviews and implying that we could not afford our cake, etc. Because of Mr. Johnson's non compliance we were left with no choice but to have this matter handled by the courts!

It amazes me how people think that they can treat you any kind of way when you have paid them money for a service that they didn't provide! NOT TODAY SATAN!

I warn you all NOT TO SUPPORT his business because if this is how he treated us, his true self will emerge again!

Below are pictures of his text message reply to us (the one and only time he replied) and the other picures are of our facetime session and an example of the style piano keys we asked for. You can clearly see that he drew the cake in his notes having a musical staff, but the day of the wedding it was not there!! And those keys were sloppy as HECK!!
I will not stand for this kind of treatment WHATSOEVER!!

Awful customer service. He missed key details in our cake, was unresponsive to our requests to discuss this with him. Be warned. Bob’s work was an unfortunate disappointment and was in no way reflective of the work he’s done for his other clients. I would not recommend his services.
