I adopted an "unadobtable" senior dog. The shelter gave up on him and he was in pretty bad shape. The staff at Creekside have been amazing at helping me help him. He is completely adjusted and is the perfect Uncle to two new additions! Creekside has been there for my new pups as well.

Dr. Harris and Dr. Eisele have both been wonderful veterinarians for us and our dogs. They truly care about their clients and the animals that come through their door. Their support staff is top notch and everyone appears happy to work at Creekside Vet Clinic. I have recommended Creekside to several people who have since started taking their beloved pets there and are also very happy with the care and love they receive. They are the most caring doctors and staff of any vet clinic I have ever been to.

I have been going to Creekside Veterinary Clinic since the day they opened their doors. I have no human children and my dogs are my children. Dr. Harris has been a wonderful vet to my beloved dogs and puppies. She is a skilled scientist who from microscopic analysis can pinpoint the cause of the problem with a puppy. Puppies can crash fast, but with Dr. Harris' expertise they come back to life just as fast. She has been called the "Queen of Poop" since she is able to microscopically get to the bottom of whatever the problem is.
I will never forget the time I took in a dog and Dr. Eisele changed some of her appointments to be able to research and dig and dig until she found what the problem was and then was able to fix it. She was and is amazing.
The staff at Creekside Vet Clinic is top notch. I have gone to other vet offices in the area and none compare to the professionalism and the ability to care for your animals and care for their clients. Through the years they have seen me through the death of a couple of my babies and their concern and understanding has helped me through the process.
If I could give them 100 stars I would. They are wonderful. I have recommended Creekside Vet Clinic to several friends with pets and they now take their four-legged children to them as well. I will be going to Creekside with my pets the rest of my life.

I could probably write for days and days about my love for the doctors and staff at Creekside. I have had the honor of loving many furbabies, and have been a client at several area veterinary clinics. While they were all great with my animals, it wasn't until I went to Creekside on the recommendation of a trusted aunt that I found my family. Dr. Armstrong, Dr. Eisele, and all staff are simply amazing. Vet techs have sent me pictures of my geriatric dog after surgery. I have received responses from the doctors to frantic messages at all hours of the day and night. We were even fortunate enough to adopt a clinic kitty that needed a forever home. They are always honest and up front about availability of appointments, price of services (which are always reasonable), and the prognosis and options for any conditions that might arise. If you are looking for a real veterinary care family, it doesn't get better than Creekside.

Creekside was my vet when I lived in Southern Illinois. I now drive from St. Louis to my appointments. The staff is always friendly. The vets allow me to make my own choices about products and procedures without being pushy. The facility is always clean and Phyllo is the best door greeter!

I LOVE Creekside. They are caring, compassionate, and attuned to their four-legged patients, while not compromising professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness. Very reasonable pricing, especially for the service provided. I've tried 4-5 other southern Illinois vet offices and this is the one that I felt provided the best service for me & my dogs. Highly recommended.

Staff are very kind, patient with both dogs and owners. Have taken my dog there for years. They know her and take great care of her. We have had a few emergency situations and they work to accommodate to the best of their ability. Great with managing chronic issues as well.

Best of the best and the only one I will trust my fur-kids with. From freak emergency surgeries to routine annual care the vets, vet techs and staff are everything I could hope for in a vet and then some. They not only saved my puppy at three months of age, but then worked with me daily for months to get him to thrive. They supported me in all my neurotic worries and questions. They have worked with me as my goldens have aged, providing geriatric care, house calls and have helped me to make informed decisions for my pets well being. They have worked with me regarding diet, made their recommendations, then supported me in the decisions I made. The staff at Creekside have truly turned from simply a “vet” which you go to once a year to an extended family of people who care about my critters (almost) as much as I do. Invaluable members of my team who make my pets lives joyful ones

I started with Creekside from day one when they took over Dr McLaughlin's practice. Having three dogs and a cat, we have made several visits and have had several needs over the years. The docs and vet tech have always been there for us and always so good with our furbabies. They are all very welcoming and professional. At the time it came to making difficult decisions, Drs Armstrong and Eisele were very compassionate and explained everything in detail, and gave us time to finalize our decisions. The entire office staff is always friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend taking your furbabies to Creekside for all of their needs.

I have always gotten compassionate care here. Top notch Veterinarians and Technician/Reception team, up to date medicine and continued education, a willingness to listen to client research, willingness to research difficult questions outside of work hours, and much more. I'm kind of an overbearing pet owner. I freak out over the smallest sniffle or yelp and I know that even though that has to be really annoying they never make me feel as ridiculous as I know I am. Overall you won't be disappointed if you call Creekside your home.

My family have been clients of Creekside for a decade now. Within that time period, Dr Harris and Dr Eisele have treated our 9 geriatric cats and 2 dogs for conditions ranging from common food/skin allergies and infections, to fatal diseases like hemangiosarcoma and renal failure, to difficult to diagnose/treat chronic illnesses like IBD and pancreatitis. Our animals have benefitted many times from the Creekside vets’ diagnostic and surgical skills and from their willingness to research a health issue in the scientific literature or to consult an expert in a specific subfield. They have also been upfront with me in the past when a particular treatment was beyond their scope; the specialists they have referred me to have been excellent. Both Dr Harris and Dr Eisele have been very helpful in keeping our costs down. I’ve never felt that a test or a medication was unnecessary or a procedure unwarranted. And they have never treated one of my animals without making sure that I first had a thorough understanding of process, options, consequences, and costs. We’ve had numerous emergencies over the years, given the age and condition of our cats; the vets have always been available to treat the problem, and have even come to our home to perform euthanasia when doing so was necessary. And I’m one of many clients who think the vet techs and other support staff who work at Creekside are the best in the region. They are professional, intelligent, efficient, and, yes, compassionate. I’ve never been treated rudely or dismissively by anyone at Creekside, nor have I ever witnessed anyone else being treated in such a manner. There are lots of veterinary offices in southern Illinois, and I’m certain that Creekside is the best choice for my family.

Dr. Harris and Dr. Eisele are not only very competent veterinarians, but they also possess an incredible compassion for both the owners and their animal patients. The two veterinarians have complementary skills and foci, and often consult each other in many cases concerning patients. They both listen to what the owners' needs are, as well as attending to the animals under their care.
The office staff are compassionate and competent, and provide much needed support during emergency care. No valid question or observation by a client is ever ignored. If they feel a client is better served by a veterinarian who is a specialist , they are sure to give a client a reference to that specialist.
I also admire greatly their concern about pet over population by putting their money where their mouth is, and having low cost spay and neuter days at their clinic on a regular basis. They also participate in rabies vax clinics which bring veterinary care to some of the more rural parts of our area.

Their care and compassion for my animals matters a lot to me, and I feel that we work as a team to provide my animals with healthy, robust lives. My husband and I both greatly appreciate Creekside Veterinary Clinic.

We sadly had to have our cat put to sleep due to end stage kidney failure and it was very difficult for the entire family. Creekside went above and beyond to try to comfort not only our beloved pet but us as well. They knew how much our cat meant to us and took a clay paw print so that we would always have her with us.

We've taken our pets to Creekside for 7 years now. We have several cats and a few dogs and I have never been disappointed with their service, professionalism, or expertise. I've appreciated the fact that Dr Armstrong recommended we see Dr Eisele because we got along better with her. I have appreciated the way Petrice has allowed my autistic son to question her and speak with her and become an active participant in the care of our animals. They are committed to finding out what is wrong with your pet, figuring out how to solve the problem, and then working with you, so it meshes well with your life. Two examples specifically: our male cat, Leo, was diagnosed with a problem and needed an antibiotic twice a day for several days. It quickly became clear that my husband and I would be unable to dose him. We contacted Creekside, told them the situation and asked for their help in solving this problem. Within an hour we had a solution (he was given a shot), and he was no longer upset with us. Several years before this happened our cat Katrina, was diagnosed with a condition where she would need meds and a special diet. At that time, our finances were limited, so I could do one, but not the other. Petrice told me, that at the moment, any wet food would do, but the meds were absolutely necessary. I was able to get Katrina on the prescribed wet food within a month. I've always found the group to be willing to work with whatever situation I've got. We have two poorly socialized dogs. Dr Eisele recommended I bring one of them in for visits so she would be less frantic. When it became apparent that this was not working as we wanted it to, we decided a sedative administered before her appointments. Four of our cats are on special diets with three of our pets taking medications daily. The vet techs know me, and our pets and always quickly fill the order as quickly as they can. Thank you for your work with my fur-kids Creekside.

We started going to Creekside about 5-ish years ago when our previous provider quit offering emergency services. Our dog (basset-lab mix) will always be our baby boy, and the team at Creekside (from the receptionists to the techs to the vets) treat him and us with the utmost respect.

Dr. Eisele and Dr. Armstrong have never made us feel 'rushed' during an appointment, take the time to explain whatever the issue is that we're there for, and go through step by step what actions will be taken the rectify the issue. Another big plus: They are cognizant of cost and are happy to discuss pricing of treatment and rx's when asked.

Picking a vet's clinic shouldn't be a trivial decision, and I'm glad we found a place that does more than just take care of our dog - they treat him like he's their own!

Has spayed/neutered 3 of my cats that were picked up from the local southern Illinois humane society. All of the operations were without complications and healed nicely.
