Gateway Church

Simply the greatest church I’ve ever been a part of. My family and I started at GTWY about a year ago and we are so thankful God led us here! Truly the best Pastor, staff, and absolute fire worship team!

My Family have been at Gateway Church for 17 years. From day one everyone was very loving and kind to our family. Best Worship and I love that you can worship freely. We have experienced the best preaching, amazing youth & children’s Pastors. I’ve made so many friends being involved with volunteering and connect groups. I was also on Staff for 4 years which was a huge blessing in my life. Gateway Church will always be our home❤❤

I can't say enough good things about this church. When we moved to the area from TX, we were really struggling to find a church home. Gateway made us feel like family. You can feel Jesus when you walk through the doors and the love from everyone that goes there. We are now living back in TX, but we visit as often as we can. I tell my husband all the time, I wish we could just pick up the church and move it here with us. It's one of the best churches I've ever been to! The worship team is amazing, and Pastor Jason always delivers on the message. Would highly recommend this church no matter where you're at in your walk with Jesus.

Love , love, love Gateway and the folks there each week. Truly a home for the lost and broken. We have many opportunities for a person to come as you are and leave full and renewed! Pastor Jason is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Gateway is very humble and goes as the Spirit leads. We have great leadership and folks that truly love others. Can't say enough good things about it there. A great place to grow into spiritual maturity in your walk with the Lord!

My family and I found a home and a sense of belonging in this church!! Shortly after making GTWY our home earlier this year, my wife and I had our first child and we were shown so much love! People were always reaching out to check on us and started a meal train for us! I love this church family and I’m so thankful that my daughter gets to grow up here!!!

Biblical teaching, amazing worship, awesome children's program. Then there is small groups and activities they do for the congregation. On top of all that, Gateway definitely does a lot for the community with their food giveaway and their clothing ministry! Definitely a solid church to attend!

I love attending Gateway Church. The people have been such a blessing. They are always so helpful and ready to listen. I truly feel God’s presence here.

I have been to many other churchs throughout my life... please in no way think by what I say God isn't in the previous churches . I have found a home ! People that love God ! I see it ... I feel it when I am here ! I usually stuck to myself but want to know people here.. I have been in the outreach for about a year now and made a family with the people I serve with ! I want to grow here ! The worship team "Madison Street Worship " is amazing and I feel so blessed to hear them praise through their music ! Pastor Jason seeks God and his heart ❤ he is a true Godly man who I call a brother in christ and who I love ! I seriously feel God working in our church and genuinely want to be part of his movement here. 🙏 blessed to call Gateway home !

Gateway Church is a bright light on a hill! The presence of God is tangible in the amazing worship and the preaching is spot on. It is a great church home and a place for growth and ministry

My family has been at GTWY for 2 years now. From the passionate worship and convicting teaching, we have grown so much! Members are welcoming, loving, accepting and made us feel at home so quickly. We knew this was where God wanted us to reside. I'm so grateful for the friendships and opportunities to serve. We couldn't ask for a better community, and family, to be a part of!

Amazing church. The pastor , the worship team , to simply just the people that attend the church. So friendly , warming , and inviting! The Holy Spirit moves within this place and I am thankful for this church and all the works God is doing!

I have been a proud member of GTWY for almost 7 years now and I wouldn’t want to attend anywhere else! When you walk in the doors everyone welcomes you with open arms, and treats you like family! Pastor Jason is an amazing, anointed, Bible-preaching man of God and always puts himself in the background so God can preach through him. He is very kind, honest, and transparent about the things he’s walked through in his life and I think that is definitely a key principle for a pastor to have; he isn’t judgmental and is always there to help if you have an issue, problem or questions about things. There are so many things I have learned and realized since starting GTWY that growing up I thought were completely different about God and the Bible; to me, It was always kind of black and white growing up, and when I started GTWY, it sounds cheesy, but it was like I saw everything in color for the first time: how things should and shouldn’t be, how everything that’s in the Bible is, in fact, in the Bible for a reason(it wouldn’t be written in there if it wasn’t all true, taking every aspect of the bible in), and just what kind of Lord and savior we serve; yes, He is a jealous God BUT He is also a very loving, merciful God, and I didn’t realize that or really learn that until I started attending GTWY.
The staff and serve team is amazing, always willing to lend a hand with whatever you need help with, whether it be answering any questions you may have or helping you get your littles into their classes if it seems like you’re struggling a bit. The children ministry is amazing! Very patient and kind to the littles, never makes any child feel like an outsider, our student ministry is amazing as well!
Our worship team always sets the mood and leads us into wonderful praise and worship time, they really set the atmosphere up for the Spirit of the Lord to come in before the message.
Our outreach ministry is amazing, always doing things to help out the shelbyville community along with the surrounding areas.
We have small groups that anyone is welcome to join and be a part of, a few to name are: The Mom co(previously MOPS or moms of pre-schoolers), we have a married couples small group, men and women’s Bible study, Tribe 55(for those who are 50 and older, or better as we like to say), but those are just a few, we have all kinds of different small groups! We have a men’s breakfast once a month, women’s night once a month, along with Young adults night once a month for those that are ages 18-35, and so much more! GTWY church is everything a church should be, especially in a day when “church-hurt” is on the rise; Everyone you meet at GTWY will welcome you in no matter what path of life you’ve walked, or even what you’re currently walking through and will always try their best to help you out if needed.
GTWY puts God first, it’s not about performance, or what people have to say about us, or seeking out fame or popularity. Everything GTWY does lines up with biblical principals and truth, and most importantly GTWY is centered around the glorification of our wonderful Lord and savior. I’m blessed to call GTWY my home, and always will, unless God calls me elsewhere!

I absolutely LOVE Gateway Shelbyville! The people are very nice and welcoming. The worship band is very anointed and the preaching is on point! You can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit!!!! There’s no need to worry about if you and your family will fit in because there are groups for all ages, men, women, children, couples, young moms, spanish speaking and the list goes on. Bottom line Gateway Shelbyville is a place that makes you feel loved, shows that you matter and embraces all color, background and ethnicity. I’m proud to call Gateway my church home ❤

The Holy Spirit is moving in this place! This is the perfect sized church with friendly people, a bible inspired message from an incredible Pastor who loves the Lord fiercely, and a phenomenal worship team who leads us into a time of Spirit-led praise for our gracious God. My kids love the childcare as well and the staff does a wonderful job getting to know the kids. It’s not just fun for them, but they’re getting to know who Jesus is, and they come out singing songs they learned. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome here, it’s great for families, and it’s great for the broken hearted in need of a heart repair. We drive 35 minutes to hear Pastor Jason preach the gospel and make it applicable to our lives in the present day culture. Come check it out!

GTWY Shelbyville is a place filled with the Holy Spirit and everyone makes you feel like family. Pastor Jason has such a passion to preach the word. The worship team is outstanding, always leading us in a Spirit-led worship.

I’ve been going to this church for almost 11 years I’ve seen god move in special and miraculous ways. This place is special. If you’re reading this and wondering if you should attend and come be apart. DO IT. This church is truly one of a kind.

I have been at GTWY for over seven years now and I absolutely love it. I always was a bit envious of people who went to a church where the Spirit of Lord was strong, the message was powerful and the worship was fabulous. Now, I go to the very kind of church I always dreamed of and that church is GTWY.
