BBQ Caboose Cafe

Had a great brunch here at 2pm today after flying in to Nashville from Arizona! Great service and awesome food! I had the 1/2 Rack of ribs with 2 sides! Very tasty. Staff were attentive without crowding me! Very tasty sweet tea also! 5 stars from me. I will be back with my good lady wife, if the ranch that we are looking to buy gets done!

This is my place to go every time when I’m in Lynchburg square. Simple but tasty food and my favorite is always all bbq stuff.
Nice and friendly stuff, every welcome. Even when place is busy food is served fast.
Interior … old, but with cool western character - don’t change it, love it!

So what can I say. We arrived after they closed, starving and they came out, talked to us and then allowed us to buy some food.
Absolute legends!

Nice to chat to the young man about his time in the UK. Thank you for the BBQ sauce. It is in my fridge at home and gets used with most meals...yum!

As for the food, what can I say. You are drawn in by the smoking smell from across the square and then you try the food and you're blown away. The meat falls off the rib and the brisket is lovely and moist. I don't know what you do to make your sausages but they are amazing!

So for anyone lucky enough to be visiting the Jack Daniels distillery, make some room in your tummy for this amazing place. You will not be disappointed.

First time here was a great experience! Jessie was my waitress. I was there by myself, and she made conversation with me the whole time so I wouldn't feel alone, while still keeping great eye on her other tables! My food was out in 5 minutes, and it was absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend.

Cool little food joint on the square in "downtown" Lynchburg.
The place has a ton of historical and various trinkets on the walls and ceiling.
The BBQ pizza is fantastic, crispy thin crust and tasty sauce.
We ordered the bologna sandwich and it was thick and perfectly paired with the toppings.

Hole in the wall bbq place located in the Lynchburg Square. Walking distance from the Jack Daniels Distillery. Atmosphere is great and homey. Lots of photos of the owner with celebrities. The bbq was excellently smoked and still moist. The red beans and rice has a little spice to them, very good. The piggy Mac was great. The sweet tea was excellent as well! Jesse was a great waitress. Definitely stop by! We stopped around 3pm so we were in between the crowds.

The BBQ Caboose Cafe is a unique dining experience. It has the small town charm with tasty southern classics. The service and food are both great!

Nothing but good food and good service. I won’t ding them on the review, but it worth noting, they offer no beef BBQ options. Only pork and chicken. They did have beef hotdogs which were good.

If you want a small Mom and Pop type place in a tourist town, well look no further. Food was extra tasty, meat was falling off the bone. Jessy, our server was top notch. Free refills on the ice tea, but not on the beer. Rats

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of chips. It's very simple and nothing too fancy, just what I like. The BBQ sauce was also delicious. They mild and hot. I loved it! The 5-star review is mostly for the service my mom and I received. Our waitress Jessie was very sweet and kind. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Cute little BBQ PLACE IN Lynchburg TN. HAD pizza with mushroom and being a NYer very picky about pizza but was delicious. Hit the spot! Staff was wonderful friendly! Great little joint

Happy we made a lunch stop on our way to Jack Daniels. The tasting platter was perfect for 2 adults.

The sausage is absolutely incredible, best I’ve ever had. Prices are also reasonable. Great place. Service was also great.

Lovely mom and pop restaurant right next to gift stores. We had to stop by and try it, and boy am I happy we did. The smoked ribs were amazing, along with my spicy beans and rice. We loved the service as well!
I absolutely loved the homemade bread pudding, so give it a try!

This place is the business! Such a wonderful family business super yummy ribs that dry rub . You don’t need much of their wonderful sauce . Rice and beans awesome with some dog scraps on top . If your going on the Jack distillery tour this is the place to go for your dinner .

Stopped for an unplanned dinner after a long ride today. Friendly service, very attentive folks! We ordered the fried bologna sandwich, the sausage link, and pulled pork sandwich. Topped it off by sharing a piece of lemon ice box pie.
Perfect ending to a perfect day, I can’t believe we’ve passed by this place so many times before and never stopped. Definitely on my list of top 5 laid back places to come have a meal, a little conversation, and listen to a little live music.

This is a super quaint place. We got our food quickly with great service. My fiance had the smoked sausage sandwich with red beans and rice and I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese. So tasty!!!

Great all American Cafe with really nice staff. The hot mess was amazing and the kids loved the baked beans.
