Fantastic Mexican store and authentic south of the border eat in or to go food! Staff is very friendly and attentive. The market side has a good selection of spices, canned goods, some veggies and meat counter. The small restaurant has a dozen tables and a good selection of the real deal Mexican cuisine. We ordered a variety of 5 different tacos(2.99 each), a tamale (2.00 each) and some roasted jalapeños peppers(.99 for three). Made fresh, this is some of the best Mexican food we have eaten since living in California! The burritos we saw were enormous! The value vs quality was superb. Highly recommend on your next stop in Knoxville.

Very friendly Mexican Market with a small but exceptional restaurant; especially good and inexpensive tacos. They speak very little English but their manner easily makes up for the lack of English (for my own ease of communication); this gives me an opportunity to practice my Spanish.

My first visit was a to-go order; the tasty tacos impressed me so much I went back after eating my lunch to commend the Chef (Elisio).

Not only was this a delicious lunch it was authentic Mexican food. I had traditional style steak tacos and my wife had a steak quesadilla. All the food was delicious! After we bought some Mexican candy and other things from tje market. We'll be back!

Tacos are exceptionally delicious. Super authentic, wonderful flavor. It’s a little slice of Mexico Heaven in Knoxville and I love it.

Nice place for authentic Mexican food and products. The fruit cups there are great.

If you’re looking for any ingredients that a large grocery store might not have this place will definitely carry it. In addition to that, it has excellent cooking supplies. I cannot oversell the food, best Mexican I’ve had in Knoxville

The dining area and kitchen are in the back end of a mid-sized grocery store near Bearden High School. The food is excellent; genuinely Mexican. The prices are modest and noticeably less than other Mexican restaurants in Knoxville. So don't be put off by the less than fancy appearance of this establishment. The place is clean and the food is prepared quickly.

This store is very clean and has everything that I need for my Mexican cooking.

Super friendly and helpful. I came in to buy some odd ingredients for a Mexican dish my daughter was making. I only say odd because I couldn’t find them in Kroger. So I needed help finding and understanding what they were. The cashier was amazingly helpful. Pointed me in the right direction and gave me tips on cooking. I will be back and next time I want to try the restaurant!

Love this place! If you don't go to this restaurant and market you made a mistake. Mi Pueblo's folks are always super nice with a great homie atmosphere. If you are looking for a high-fashion place, it is not your joint. But if you want good food and large portions this is your spot. If you are looking for the more exotic, they have that too. If you are a cook, you will find Latin ingredients for your next cooking foray. YUMMY!

So..this is one of my favorite places to eat Mexican food. It’s a market, but inside there is a small Mexican restaurant. I love the tacos. I love the salsa. So fresh and really authentic. Once you have had tacos in Mexico, it’s hard to find good tacos to compare to in the US. These are Mexican tacos. Staff is super sweet and friendly too! If you are one of those idiots that want a wall at the border...don’t go to this restaurant. You don’t deserve authentic Mexican food.

Great place to go to for Mexican products

Delicious, authentic and casual Mexican dining in a real deal Mexican supermarket. Service was fine. Of I spoke Spanish I'm sure it would have been great Presentation of food was great.

Mi Pueblo is a great Latin grocer that has many ingredients you would not give at a typical grocery store. They have an exceptional selection of spices and produce, and many products from Latin America that are hard to find. Their butcher counter is absolutely amazing! You will not find better, or more fresh, chorizo in Knoxville. As someone who does not speak Spanish, I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. If you want to cook authentic Latin-American food, this is the location to find your ingredients!

The best kept secret in Knoxville. Tucked away in a corner of a Mexican grocery store, this little eatery has the most authentic Mexican food I've found for miles around. The big portions (yeah, I like to eat) are wonderful. Those chorizo tacos... good lord, they are good. When it comes to Mexican food in this town, there's this place all alone at the top, and all the rest of the joints trailing far behind. Not the greatest ambiance you've ever encountered, but the food more than makes up for that.

Authenic Mexican food. Genuinely an explosion of delicious flavor I didn’t know existed in Knoxville (I almost want to keep a secret). My server didn’t speak English but was very pleasant and friendly, and the menu explains well enough. I had chicken and carnitas tacos and this has set the bar in terms of flavor and fresh ingredients. Simple environment and excellent food. Would absolutely recommend.

Great food, Great service, and great prices. Mi Pueblo has the feel of a small cantina in Baja California . By far the best Mexican food I've had in Tennessee. I will definitely be a regular customer here.

My husband and I decided on doing a taco trip around town... we stopped at 3 different places serving street tacos and decidedly agree that Mi Pueblo has the best in town. The carnitas were crispy and flavorful. The chorizo was on point. But my favorite was the al pastor con pina! Fantastic!!! Reminded me of our favor taco truck back in Austin. Delicious!

This place is great if you're needing something authentic for your next Latin American recipe. We managed to find some actual Casa and some dried corn husks for our tamales after being disappointed at the supermarket offerings.

They also stock all of your Latin sodas, have a meat department, spices, a small but well stocked assortment of vegetables and pretty much anything else you might be looking for. I highly recommend it.
