Clubhouse Restaurant Bar & Grill

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch on the patio of The Clubhouse. Our server, Tory, did an excellent job of taking care of all of our requests. There is ample parking and it is a great atmosphere on the patio. The food is typical American style with a selection of sandwiches and salads. I recommend the Club Sandwich. The fried cauliflower is also a great appetizer.

Had a good experience, seat yourself, on a Friday night and not TOO busy (which I like). Server came over quick and was very nice (good service as well). Steak sandwhich was great and wife enjoyed her burger. Great selection of sides. Artichoke dip was a delicious appetizer. My only ding would be that it was pretty dark, but other than that everything was great including the prices. Will definitely be coming back here

We love that this place is closeby and decently priced. A couple of my favorite things here are the club sandwich and the palmetto burger. My husband and son's go to is the wings. We have tried a variety of items, all have been good.

FINALLY found a little bar in my area with GOOD food. My husband got wings. Half parmesan garlic and Half hot. Both flavors were delicious. Wings were fried crisp. No soggy yucky skins. He got the sweet potato waffle fries. Exceptional. Served with a honey horseradish sauce that they should bottle! I got the chicken pita and onion rings. Onion rings were good with actual sliced onion rings (not minced and formed). The pita was full with grilled chicken, tomato, lettuce and red onion. If I had any complaint it would be the tzitziki sauce. There was an odd flavor in it that I just didn't like and was unusual. A little over powering. I almost felt like they used pickle instead of cucumber. But maybe it was just a lot of dill. Meal came out in a decent time. A little long for the amount of customers, but worth the wait. Definitely will be returning regularly. Anxious to try some of the interesting things on their menu!

Hadn't been here in forever, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they've upgraded their menu from mostly bar food. Don't get me wrong - pickle chips and pretzel bites are delicious (and theirs are!), but I like to temper my beer & fried food with something a smidge healthier. Also, my daughter is a vegetarian so it's nice that we have another local restaurant option. Salads and mac & cheese get old after a while. Their beer list is extensive (jalapeño beer, anyone?) and while I didn't peruse the cocktail list, my friend's daughter got a tropical mule that was quite delicious. And I'm not a huge mule (drink) fan. The service was outstanding - courteous, attentive, and timely. I look forward to returning.

Stopped by on a busy Friday evening. Food took awhile. But came out HOT. Would of liked a few more fries with my club but overall great meal and affordable right now.

Still a good place for some home cooking. Nightly specials and great service. Can't ask for more than that.

The bar staff was friendly. The food was good. You could tell it is a place where the locals hang out. I would recommend to people if you are in the Clayton NC area.

Food is always good with lots of choices. Need more waitstaff as well as everyone else.

All I can say is wow! Came here for training for my job and stopped in here. Atmosphere is welcoming and the food is outstanding. Had one of the best salads I’ve ever had as well as their collard greens. Awesome selection and wonderful southern side dishes. Wish I had one of these in my hometown. I’ll be back if I’m ever passing through or in town too. Great staff and prompt friendly service.

Took my grandson here for a birthday meal. I enjoyed all the TV's with different sports on them. The food was excellent and the young lady that served us was very nice and she was helpful to get our grandson's order in right away.

Better food than I had reasonably expected at a bar. Decent service, may have been overwhelmed by a party of 40? Daytime atmosphere was very family appropriate.

A nice tucked away gem that reminds me of all the good friendly restaurant bars that make me feel comfortable. The food is fantastic, the favorite appetizer for me is their buffalo shrimp. Favorite sandwich is the rib eye with the french dip right behind it. They have an extensive menu and I have not tried everything, but am always willing to go back and try something else.
Stop in and have a drink, try some of the food, and feel better about all the craziness out side of the walls.

Great service! Cute sports bar with very friendly staff. Went for lunch and it was nice and quiet and chill, but we'll setup for a busy night. Food was delicious and staff was great

We have been here a couple of times and the food has always been good. Not super crowded and a good variety of food options. Tonight Taylor was our server and she was extra amazing. I know staffing has been tough all over and she was just so friendly and on top of everything. We very much appreciated her and will definitely return.
