We’ve lived in the area for almost eight years. We normally order food from two establishments closer to us. My husband had to run over the 40/42 to pick up something, so we decided to order from this location. And it’s hands down the best we’ve had in the area. Pork lo main had actual pieces of pork and not that little cut up pieces other places give. Definitely will drive a little further to come here again!

Note: I did see the price difference in the online ordering and the final price but it was only a few dollars. I don’t mind everything has gone up and a family owned business has to make money. PLUS WE RECEIVED ENOUGH FOOD FOR TWO TO EAT TWO OR THREE MEALS OUT OF IT. IF NOT MORE.

We love China King. Our favorite Chinese food in the area. Everything we have ever gotten from here has been terrific and the crab rangoons are top tier.

Food was really good. Fast service. I wanted white rice but the fried rice was good. Will definitely go back.

My favorite local Chinese restaurant in the Clayton/Garner area. Everything I have tried has been delicious with lots of flavor. This is a restaurant best for pick up orders, or delivery from DoorDaah because there is not much seating inside, however, even through delivery the food is packaged nicely and is always hot. The prices are also reasonable which makes it even better of a restaurant to give a try.

So far, some really good General Tao's Chicken, with pork fried rice and an egg roll.

This is, by far, the best tasting Chinese Food and the best service in this area. They are very friendly. They have always tried to accommodate me if I have a special request. (For example, if I ask for something to be left out of my dish or extra noodles for my soup.)

This is one of the best takeout Chinese restaurants I’ve EVER been to. Their black pepper chicken was juicy and flavorful. Their orange chicken had ACTUAL oranges. Like what?! Never have I ever! Price is amazing and the servings are plentiful. 10/10 will visit again

Best Chinese carryout I have had since moving to NC. The place and kitchen looks very clean, and the service is always prompt and nice. I pass about three other carryouts to get this one.

Carry out only. The current atmosphere leaves alot to be desired. Just a small cramped front area and you have to speak through baby monitors. Favorite Chinese food in the area though. Cannot wait for them to re-open their dining room.

LOVE this place! Exactly the kind of family owned hole in the wall place everyone needs in their life, that serves the best food! The pepper chicken is wonderful, the egg foo young is exceptional and the pork fried rice is delicious. Never had anything here I didn't like, and I've tried most everything. AND They don't use MSG at all, in anything!

I was very happy with our take out from her On Sunday. It is very hard to find good chinese take out. It was very fresh and had a lot of flavor. Thank you and please keep serving great food it is very much appreciated.

Our "go to" for the best Chinese take-out! Beef dishes always include the most tender meat. Awesome appies (especially egg rolls and dumplings). Favorites are Hot & Sour Soup, Kung Pao Chicken and Pork Fried Rice.

I was craving Chinese food and this place certainly knocked it out of the park. The food was hot, smelled amazing, and tasted even better. This was literally the best Chinese food I've ever had. I highly recommend this location! I will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing experience.

This place is amazing!!! I have lived near 40/42 before 40/42 existed and call me biased but China King has been top notch since day one! I've been through 2 marriages and this place was open with the same owners before the first marriage WITH THE SAME CONSISTENT RELIABLE 10 MINUTE GREAT TASTE AND SERVICE! I truly hope you enjoy your experience here even though they've been reduced to a pick up window bc of covid and atleast laughed once!

Best Shrimp and Lobster Sauce ever! Owners always glad to see us, wonderful menu with Gluten Free options...keep this place on speed dial to order when coming home from work. Been eating here for 12 years. Never had a less than wonderful meal.

Food is delicious. I had the chicken with broccoli combination special. Place is clean and staff was friendly.

We love chinese food. I convinced my husband to try a new spot and he was skeptical. The complimentary wonton strips didn't taste fresh but the FOOD was PHENOMENAL. Friendly staff and quick service. This is officially our new spot.

Service was swift. The food was hot and tastey. The rice had great flavor and the spice on the General Tso was great. We got the lunch portion. It was inexpensive with great quality and superior taste. We shall return. Enjoyable and quiet atmosphere.

This has been my go to place for Chinese food for the past 3 years. I love everything I have tried especially the Singapore chow me in fun and chicken and broccoli with white rice. Best thing is when called in, the food will be ready in 10 minute and I've made some large family orders.
