First time customer and will be returning soon. Wednesday's special was meatloaf, it was delicious! The diner inside and drive thru were busy, a good sign the food is good too.

The Big Al’s bacon cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Ordered one to go when I was done. Staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly.

Great diner in downtown Pittsboro, I had been wanting to go for years and today on my way home I finally decided to. It was a smart choice. I had excellent service and the food reminded me of what diners do best. Make delicious food without over-complicating it.

Al's is a fun friendly place when you're passing through Pittsboro. A good old-fashioned diner, great food, huge menu, friendly staff. This place is a no-brainer.

I had a tasty big hot pancake today that was less than $4. The tenderloin was fried crispy and delicious. We had the works breakfast in a bowl sausage, grits,cheese, onions and 2 eggs over easy.

I drive by this place two times a day five times a week and it's always busy there. I had an unexpected half day on Friday and thought I'd stop by for some lunch and see what all the fuss was about. The food couldn't have tasted any better and the staff was so friendly and nice. Fantastic experience. Fan for Life.

I love my orders whether it's my country fried steak and cheese biscuit. Or my cheeseburger with fries and always their jumbo sweet tea! The staff always greet you with a smile and a hello! It's always clean inside and out! I've met a lot of nice people at Als' Diner!

If you feel like having some food that will make you ask yourself, "how did they make this so good" then, this is the diner for you. I cannot help but try something different every time I visit. As soon as I see something good and delicious on my plate, my friend will have something on his plate that looks even tastier. I could live at Al's Diner!!

All I can say is country cooking at its best. We had the beef tips and onions, It was so good the only thing wrong with them is I didn't have a second batch. Very good country mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken salad is very good especially on their croissant. Their foot long hot dog is the red country hot dog reminds me of my childhood but very good. I'm going to try to get pictures of the food, But after smelling this great food on the way home it doesn't survive that long for picture.

I usually don't review takeout. But I was in town and tried the chicken salad. omg it was so good. I haven't had the chance to try the other items on the menu, but I definitely will be back.

This is by far the best place in pittsboro to eat. Great food at great prices. I eat there 2 to 3 times a week. Great wait staff. I personally love the biscuits.

Charming diner with a heartwarming atmosphere. Exceptional service and mouthwatering dishes. A local gem where every visit feels like coming home. Aways a pleasure eating here. Highly recommend!

The meatloaf sandwich descended from the heavens. My waitress was a charming "Mom of the group" type and was fantastic. Not expensive and I'll look forward to this place now. It's a little cramped and always busy, but worth it.

Headed to Raleigh for the day and decided to try something other than a chain restaurant for breakfast. Service was slow and wasn't sure if we were supposed to order up front. Other customers said to stay put. Finally got our order taken, so glad we decided to stay. We had the best omelette we have ever eaten. We will be back for the food, not necessarily the service though.

The food here is delicious and the service is outstanding. Love the hot dogs and hamburgers, also there homemade potato chips are the best. Can’t wait to stop by again for lunch. Love it!

Came in for lunch, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. It may have been the best Philly cheesesteak ive had in a long long time, definitely will be back anytime im in the area

Went today for lunch the restaurant was packed, my co workers and I were in town for a meeting, we only had a little time to eat and get back to our meeting, we informed our waitress Diana that we were in a time crunch and she said no worries, took our orders immediately and our food came out quickly and to perfection. Wish they had one of these in Durham NC 😊

Great food with excellent service! I've had the steak tips with onion rings and mashed potatoes with gravy and another time was the chicken salad croissant with fried chips. Both were great options! They also have a drive through, which is busy all the time.
