Walmart Supercenter

The Wal-Mart Supercenter on Nelson street is the best Supercenter in our area. It seems to be cleaner than some of the other Wal-Mart's in Lake Charles. I think that one area of concerns is always the bathrooms and this one is neater than others. The employees are also helpful and some are really friendly. Also this store usually always has what you're looking for.

Even this close to Christmas the store was well stocked and organized. Well staffed and very helpful!

Bagger was really sweet and she made conversation. Asked how I wanted my items placed in the vehicle.

Larry in the vision center was terrific. He helped fix my friend's glasses and was super friendly and did such a good job. Very friendly.

It was nice and clean. The two workers help me find the Dickie pants I was looking for. They was cool and helped me make the right choice between the colors. They was working in the dressing room

The crew at this store is very responsive and extra helpful. I've been here twice and I am so refreshed with seeing that we still have good quality service answers. Even late at nite when they want to go home and clear registers and shutdown for the day. Good people goes a long way! Love you guys at the moss bluff Wally world!

I love the grocery pickup team! Dynasty is AMAZING and super fun. All of the employees are so nice, so helpful. And I love that they work together to load groceries quickly and efficiently. My items are always handled with care, substitutions are rare but they are always smart choices, and the pickup center is clean and easy to find.

Had walmart pickup. Very polite, service was super fast and he put everything in neatly. Ask if I needed anything else , wished a gn thank you. Can't ask for more. Wish every visit was this way. I'm so glad to shop on line and not deal with rude people any more.

Loved the Technician. Friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and quick to get my battery replaced, so I could get back on the road. Cashier was very knowledgeable also on the battery replacement needed for my vehicle.

There are times when I simply love Walmart and other's where I hate it. The sad truth is that those times are two sides of the same coin. I certainly love Walmart especially when online shopping. I ALWAYS get free shipping and low prices on the things I need (along with the things I want, LoL!!) I can even get groceries online now. It's things like this that make me love it even more. The other side of this coin is actually enjoying the shopping inside the store. I get to browse through and find so many things I want (and nothing that I need. LoL!!) Now, that being said, I do have a complaint about shopping IN the store itself. If shopping in person I usually give myself a spending limit, this time my cap was set at $100 (meaning $150.) We also had a time constraint. We needed to get back home in 2 hours since my son-in-law had to go to work. So we set an alarm for the time and off we went. Neither of us noticed the time with all of us getting many things we WANTED. After checking out we cringed. We had spent close to $300! So, we doubled our expenditure. My daughter used to stay the we always spent $100 every time we went to Walmart, whereas now we know that we will always double what we initially plan on spending. Sure does make us have a GREAT time while shopping though! Love the time we get to spend together, 3 generations, Nana, daughter, and two granddaughters. Doing something as easy as being together going shopping, spending $300, and forgetting the things that you initially went shopping for. FUN TIMES FOR EVERYONE!!

It was good. It sucks when we have to wait on till service lines though. They had a couple of Scan & Go registers not working. Although it was considerate, the person working the Scan & Go check out lines stopped me to ask me if I received my receipt. I responded that it came to my cell phone.

We went at rush hour on Hwy 171 Walmart on the Bayou.
The traffic heading North was insanely thick. If your coming from Moss Bluff or further. It's easy to get to Walmart. Or make sure to go before the rush hour or just wait til it's over. 😂

Love the ease of getting in and out. They always have what I need and a healthy clearance section. The staff is always helpful when I'm too short to get to the tippy top shelf. They also have oodles of self check out. i also love murphys little gas station cause I'm all about those rewards points...

I was shopping for my daughter's birthday parties and only had $100. Cashier gave me .35 I needed. I love our community no matter how big or small someone helps.

I have gone to the Vision Center for several years. It is the cleanest, neatest and friendliest Walmart Vision Center I have ever seen. When you walk in that department you are greeted immediately. Larry, Sue and Dasha have been the nicest, most helpful persons I have meet at any Walmart. Last year at the Walmart Vision Center at Hwy. 14 the lady was rude, did not even acknowledge me when I walked in and the store was very dirty. The floors and shelves were covered in dust. When I went for my appointment last month I did not wait long and the Optometrist was very nice. When it came time to choose my glasses there was "no pressure sells speech". Every choice was explained at length the benefits of all different type of lenses and frames. All three employees assisted me in choosing a frame style most fitted to my face! I have and will continue to send family and friends to that Vision Center.

I don't care for the attitude of one of your supervisors, but the the people of the store are fantastic and very hard working and very knowledgeable and very helpful. I am able to get what I need in a very timely manner. If I can't find something, immediately, one of your people are there to offer help.
