VERYYYYYYY PLEASED :) and satisfied moved from Miami 3 years ago and I started to lose hope in the Jamaican restaurants here in GA but I am super pleased and a proud Jamaican. Definitely eat here

Enjoyed the curry chicken off the lunch special menu and it is incredible!! Everything was served hot and fresh- will definitely be back! So good! The place is fairly small (8 tables), but is hopping!

My friend told me about this place years ago and every time I thought to go, they were closed. Well worth the wait!

It can be hard to find a solid Jamaican spot in Atlanta that has good food, has the food in stock and good service.

The food here is delicious. I ordered curry tofu and coco bread. It was made to order. I waited less than 10 minutes and the servers were super friendly!

I came here for the second time in one week and again I was completely satisfied. The first visit I ordered brown stew chicken, jerk pork and jerk chicken!! The second visit, I couldn’t help it, I ordered the stew chicken again along with the oxtails. One of the best spots I have been to since coming from Brooklyn! Ting sell off

Hidden Gem in Hapeville: This food is the closest you’re going to get to Jamaica in Georgia period. I have tried sooo many places but this one is original and very tasty. I can’t explain being from Florida matters but Jamaican food is scarce for the flavor. This place has flavor,spice and good service. I can’t complain about anything we had.
The soup the rice and peas and the coco bread will make you keep coming back daily.. promise you this place gets all the stars for their delicious specialty of flavor!! I’m very picky so this place gets all the stars

I’ve been here 3 times now and I have not been disappointed yet at the authenticity of the Jamaican food or flavors. They really serve well and the oxtails is just to die for. I’ll definitely keep coming as long as the food keeps being this good and this “healthy”.

We went to Island Vibes for lunch on a Thursday. My husband ordered the Jerk Chicken Lunch Special (first photo) and I ordered the Curry Chicken Lunch Special (second photo). We also got a pastry stuffed with vegetables. Everything was excellent! The chicken was so tender and moist that it practically fell off the bone. The pastry crust was flaky and fresh and the vegetable stuffing was really good. Generous servings. Friendly service, hard working staff. We will definitely be going back!

The food is good and it has a rear authentic Jamaican taste to it. This was the first time I ordering oxtails, and it was worth the cost.

Once again, ISLAND VIBES (Hapeville) never disappoints me!!!

The food was great and they have amazing customer service they did not have hot sauce available so they made me some fresh with scotch bonnet peppers.

Island Vibes is an amazing Jamaican restaurant in Hapeville that has thee best Jerk Chicken. They have all the usual favorites such as red snapper and curry chicken. However the salmon pasta is everything.

This was my first time coming here, I had bever seen it before. Ordered the Roti (Chicken), for my wife who grew up on Caribean food, (she said the Roti had more peas inside and less chicken), that was not good, from where she grew up, it should be more chicken and less peas,
For the money, she was not happy about that.
However, she said the Oxtails were good, my rice and peas were good, my Red Snapper fried Caribean style was awesome.
The servers were nice, and atmosphere was nice. No problems here!

Food is really good. Call ahead or have time to wait. It takes time to prepare a meal.

I just tried this "hole in the wall - in the neighbor"hood" of Atlanta.

Their Chicken Roti is

"Excellent*****".

Best I had in over 10+ years.

- Soft skin, w/dal puri;

- Chicken, gently seasoned;

- Sweet Potatoe,  mashed inside, instead of chopped white potatoe (a nice "healthy" surprise).

Served w/Cabbage on the side (it melts in your mouth)

W/peas & Rice, (perfectly cooked)

This was a pleasant surprise.

Reasonably priced.

Clean, fast and personable service.

They serve Vegan dishes too.

I purchased the beef patty for my Grandson.

He is 12 and already a "Foody".  I will update this review after I get his comments.

It's a "must" try.

I have to travel 1-1/2 hours to get there but I will be stopping by each time I am in Atlanta.

Food is always good!! My go-to is usually the oxtail and curry chicken. I also like the jerk chicken. Which it’s spicy it’s not an unbearable heat. Also love the coco bread.

Great food-FAST service-carry out or eat in! I liked the food so well I went back the next day. the place was comfortable and clean. i dont know where the other people went to but it surly was NOT this place.

My favorite jersey chicken place... I only need about 12USD to be filled up with quality food...home made food

I had the veggie roti with a veggie patty and some plantains and it was exactly what I wanted! Roti was to die for! I will be back!

Once again Island Vibes did their thang!
I ordered my usual (LARGE CURRY CHICKEN / RICE & PEAS / Medium OXTAIL SAUCE/ 1 VEGGIE PATTY & 1 CHICKEN CURRY PATTY) &as usual the meal was a 10!
Aside from Island vibes being a Black Owned Business/Establishment; I’m even more of a regular because of the Quality Of Their Food… From the Texture to the Actual Taste.
And as far as the staff is concerned; nothing but good energy and positive vibes ; overall!
