We had a very positive experience at Atlanta Veterinary Dentistry!

After consulting with our veterinarian on a discolored tooth, we were referred to Dr. Beckman. I had the pleasure of scheduling with Anne, who is very friendly, organized and professional. During our initial visit, Dr. Beckman took the time to answer all our questions, address our concerns, and explain the planned treatment. The injured tooth turned out to be non-viable, and required a root canal and a crown. After our second visit, our pup came home with sparkling clean teeth and happily fitted with a permanent crown.

We are very happy to have been referred to Dr. Beckman and his amazing staff. If your pup has any dental needs, we highly recommend them!

Simply outstanding! Our two year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi fractured a large tooth, likely from chewing on a Benebone. Our regular vet told us the tooth would have to be extracted. We took her to see Dr. Beckman and after a visual exam and X-rays, he was able to simply seal the tooth, avoiding a root canal and crown, or an extraction. The exam and procedure were done the same day. Dr. Beckman and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and very caring with our pup. We are so grateful for the excellent care they all provided and will be taking our Nellie to them for all her dental needs. Highly recommended!

I have 6 year old Jack Russell named Lucy who had to have two broken molars extracted. She did fantastic and we owe it all to Dr. Beckman, Annie, and the staff at Atlanta Veterinary Dentistry for taking such good care of her. They are top notch. Their clinic is immaculate and non-threatening. I felt very comfortable leaving her in their hands. We are lucky to have Dr. Beckman and his staff in Atlanta. I would highly recommend this service.

I am so grateful for finding Annie and Dr. Beckman. They were compassionate, professional and genuinely interested in the best for my pet. They communicated with me every step of the way and they empathized with me as a pet owner. I had pretty much given up hope for my 11 year old Husky, Sugar when we went to see Annie and Dr. Beckman. Sugar had been through several dental procedures with the local vet for what they thought was an abscessed tooth. But she never got better. Her face was very swollen and she lost over ten pounds because she couldn’t eat due to pain. Dr. Beckman immediately identified the issue and removed a cancerous growth. Sugar is recuperating and eating and most importantly pain-free. I highly recommend Atlanta Veterinary Dentistry for their expertise and love for their patients. I am so grateful to have more time with my baby.

My 9 year old cavalier, Lady, did so great under Dr. Beckman and his team. I was pleasantly surprised at how normal she seemed after picking her up from her cleaning! Lady has half of her teeth extracted in a short amount of time and seemed as though she was in little to no pain!! She even wanted to stick her head out of the window on the car ride home! We had such a different/ traumatic experience 3 years ago at her last dental cleaning (she had multiple teeth pulled and was in so much pain for days) when she had it done at her local vet office. Definitely seek out a specialist like Dr. Beckman if your dog has periodontal disease. Esp if your dog has other health problems like mine (heart disease). Happy to have such services available to us in Atlanta!

I was referred to Dr. Beckman after my normal vet found some irregularities during my husky’s dental in November. After consulting with Dr. Beckman she was diagnosed with tooth reabsorption and would have to get multiple teeth extracted. My vet recommended we go to Dr. Beckman since he is the best when it comes to dental work. After my referral was sent I was contacted by Annie and we quickly got it scheduled. During my appointment I was kept updated and I knew my husky was in great hands. I definitely recommend Dr. Beckman and Annie, they are professional and deserve the reputations they have been given. Now that Cali is done with her surgery she will get plenty of rest and I am so happy to know she was taken care of and will continue to be a healthy pup thanks to Dr. Beckman and Annie!

Dr. Beckman and Annie and all of the staff were so wonderful with my dog, and extremely knowledgeable. She had 2 fractured teeth with root exposure, while simultaneously dealing with lymphoma. They took extra great care of my baby, and I am forever grateful to have found such a wonderful practice. They paid special attention to making her comfortable as a fearful dog, and considered her health and chemo regimen to ensure the procedure would be safe. They abide with their fear free policy and allowed me to be involved to keep my dog comfortable, and the office was super clean. They treated my dog like one of their own. Highly recommend.

I have taken two different dogs here over the span of 2 years and had a great experience each time. Both of my 60 pound dogs have difficulty with people and other dogs, and the staff treated them with respect and kindness. It isn't cheap, but dental work never is. My 4 year old dog had a broken molar with an exposed nerve removed and my 10 year old dog recently had a host of issues with mass biopsies and multiple extractions.

Our 1 year old tabby, Toby, struggled with severe stomatitis for almost her entire life. We got her when she was around 5 months old and tried everything under the sun to help her oral issues. After we exhausted all efforts, our primary vet recommended Atlanta Veterinary Dentistry. After a lot of research and about a month and a half of waiting, Toby was able to have a full mouth extraction. We cannot express how grateful we are for their team! Their love and compassion towards animals and their quality of life was so refreshing to see. Toby had her surgery in Feb and we are elated to say that the stomatitis has not come back and she is a brand new cat. This surgery changed our sweet kitty’s life! We absolutely recommend this awesome clinic and thank them for all they do!

Atlanta Veterinary Dentistry has been great to me and my dog! They were caring and compassionate for our situation. Annie and Dr. Beckham were both great at explaining my options and breaking things down for me. Communication was also great in terms of drop off and pick up. Ash and I thank you!

Everyone was professional and friendly. Annie was very communicative and helpful when my dog's surgery was delayed. They stayed late to take care of her. I am very glad we were able to see Annie and Dr. Beckman - they, along with their stellar staff, took fantastic care of my dog!

My 15 year old cat has been going to Dr. Bechman for several years and I feel that she is safe with Dr. Bechman. She has had gum disease and conservative treatment did not help. When she went 2 weeks ago she had the remaining 27 teeth removed. Fast forward she is like a kitten; eating drinking and running around the house. I am forever grateful to Dr. Bechman and Anne.

I learned that Dr. Beckman is the only Vet Dentist and Vet Oral Surgeon in Georgia. I hadn't known that there was a specialty in Vet Dentistry or Oral Surgery before this.

Annie is also extremely qualified and experienced specifically in this field. Annie explained everything very thoroughly and patiently prior to the visit. The cost was explained clearly.

Dr. Beckman met with me on arrival to discuss my girl's needs. He was very friendly, very nice, and patient. They did a teeth cleaning, full mouth xrays, and exam, which they had previously explained required sedation and intubation. I am grateful they found no problems at all. But I knew if they did, she was in great hands.

Dr. Beckman explained that they don't just extract teeth if there is a problem, as many vets do. He said most of the time they are able to save the teeth. They do root canals and crowns, and so much more. I didn't know this existed for a dog.

I feel very comfortable with my regular vet, they are great, but in learning that this specialty exists I wanted Dr. Beckman. I go to a dentist, or a specialist when I have a medical problem. I wanted the best for my girl too.

I've been contacted several times by Annie after the cleaning to make sure all is ok, which it is. I was emailed a full detailed report. The communications and professionalism has been fantastic.

We took our cat here after we noted one of his canines had fractured. We waited about 2 months for an an appointment which is standard given Dr. Beckman is the only boarded dentist in Atlanta and the veterinary community is currently overwhelmed with pets due to the mass adoption of animals during the pandemic. The wait was definitely worth it. Dr. Beckman did a wonderful job. We had our initial consult and surgery the same day. Our cat was dropped off at 830am and was ready to go home by 1230pm. The entire team especially his head technician Anna were nothing but professional, efficient, and compassionate toward our cat.

I also would like to note that Dr. Beckmans team provides standard of care medicine. It was required that all animals have full blood work, urine testing, thyroid testing, and a cardiac work up if necessary prior to anesthesia.

For those looking to see Dr. Beckman, please note that you are paying for a boarded dentist and his services can be expensive. I went in knowing this and was totally fine with the price because my cat was receiving the best care.

If you're looking for the very best dental care for your fur baby, look no further! We chose Dr. Beckman based on online reviews and couldn't be happier with the decision. Our Frenchie ended up needing pretty extensive work done but we knew he was in great hands after our initial consultation. Annie was so communicative and helpful throughout the entire process and we're very appreciative of the amazing care they provided from start to finish.

Our fur baby had to have all his teeth removed due to gum recession. My veterinarian that have used forever recommended Dr Beckman and I'm so he did. Charley, my maltipoo, did extremely well. Annie explained the care he needed post op. He has been great since the procedure. No problems at all. Everything was just as Annie had explained. No surprises.

I brought both of my dogs to Dr. Beckman, one with medical issues and both with high anxiety. They did fantastic! The whole process was very smooth, from making the appointment, meeting the doctor, and getting updates while the dogs were getting work done. My pups didnt skip a beat after their procedures, and they clearly felt better after getting their teeth cleaned. I used to be super nervous about the dogs and anesthesia but I have no fear coming to this office. I highly recommend!

My little Yorkie has been in Kidney failure since she was born (kidney's never fully developed ) Dr. Beckman and his team were the only Vets that said they could clean her teeth with no problem! She was never expected to live past two years .......but now she's six years old, so I knew I had to trust someone. They did a great job, she's doing fine 3 weeks later and I couldn't be happier....they're the Best! I would recommend them to anyone especially if your dog has medical problems!

One of our dogs (Mia) had a dental situation that our local vet simply could not handle. They referred us to Dr. Beckman in Atlanta. The doc and Annie did a fantastic job in not only taking amazing care of Mia, but in answering all our questions & concerns. Within just a couple of days after the surgery, Mia seemed her normal self and looking in her mouth you could barely see that any work had even been done. Annie was terrific in following up with us several times after the surgery to check on Mia. These folks are wonderful.

Our cat Bradley is 7 years old, and he started showing the signs of tooth resorption recently. As he never got dental treatment before, we wanted to make sure we get help from the very best. Then we found Dr. Beckman and Annie. Dr. Beckman seems to be the only board-certified vet oral surgeon in Georgia, so it's really a no brainer. Annie was very kind, accommodating, and responsive throughout the whole process to assure everything goes smoothly. We got very well informed as to Bradley's then-current condition, surgery procedure, potential issues down the road, and after-surgery treatment via consultation along with x-rays. Now Bradley's no longer in pain. We were very happy with the quality service we got and already made another appointment with them for our other cat. You will not regret working with them.
