Sun City Caribbean & American Restaurant Better Food, Better Service

I recently dined at Sun City Caribbean & American restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The jerk chicken salad was a burst of flavors, perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. Their breakfast sandwiches are nothing short of amazing, providing a delightful start to the day. What sets Sun City apart is the consistent quality and taste of their food. Each visit is a culinary delight, making it a go-to spot for those seeking delicious and reliable dining. Five stars without a doubt!

Food was actually good, I will definitely return, but I will say they are deadass wrong for putting my whole entire pasta in a small bowl, sauce filled to the brim spilling. Other than that I have no complaints, it you haven't tried this restaurant, definitely give them a try

I got to say I really enjoyed my food. I was looking for something tasty, yet affordable and I said "Why not try this place". I saw they had a few vegan/vegetarian options so I wanted to give a try. I am glad I did. I ordered the Tofu Brown Stew Small ($8.00) and the Veggie Plate Small ($6.50). Also a veggie patty ($2.00) I was pleasantly surprised of the flavors bursting in that and I would definitely try again. I really enjoyed the tofu brown stew. The tofu was flavorful, not silky and had a nice chewable texture. The Plaintains was great. It was sweet combination to add with the rice and peas. Those are extra to get, because of the wait he gave them to me for free. Overall everything was great. You can't beat good food for this price. Definitely will come back again! Thanks!

I got the small oxtail plate to try it out......Ah-fuxking-mazing....even the mac n cheese was good make sure you get that pineapple lemonade with whatever you get (better than chik-fil-a). Definitely a go back place. And don’t be alarmed that it’s on the side of a gas station 🤣🤣

Omg, I’ve been looking for some good Benji food and I’m very picky. Excellent choice for me and my daughter food on point. I also got Sorrel and ginger drink that was purely amazing. I’m not going to hold you very happy

The food is amazing.if you're into Caribbean food this place is a most try. the have a second location in Forest Park (541 Forest parkway forest park GA 30297). The customer service is incredible and the beef and chicken patties are delicious.

Suncity is without a doubt holding its own. You will hear many story about the resturant both good and bad but all i can advise is that you visit for your self and have your own experience. You taste the passion and pride in every meal. Real Jamaican food serve the real Jamaican way. Big up suncity..

My Favorite Jamaican Spot. Food is always on point. One of the few places that rewards customers and knows how to keep you coming back.

I had a small jerk chicken plate with rice and peas and oxtail gravy. Reasonably priced around $12. Three pieces of meat. The rice was cooked perfectly, the chicken falls off the bone. the sauce is so good and it’s not overly spicy

Pros: 99% of the time the food is fresh, hot, tasty, & enjoyable & the portions are large. Some of my favorites are their brown stew chicken, jerk shrimp, and oxtails but I rotate through a lot of different options & never get tired of coming here.

Cons: Prices seem to keep rising, and every so often, the rice & peas isn’t so fresh or flavorful. This doesn’t really bother me though.

Nice staff, great food, generous portions! You will be properly fed here! Their small is most other places large! And everything I've tried here has been delicious! The stew chicken, the ox tails, the jerk! Surprisingly inexpensive for the quantity and quality of food! They definitely make me miss home! I recommend Sun City Caribbean to any and everybody I talk to! They are legit! Come get some truly good food!

We were very skeptical about going to this place because we were actually getting gas. And saw the sign. To the owner of this restaurant, Great business mind. Continuous flow of traffic..But wo and behold this was the best Caribbean Oxtails I have had since moving from Miami to Atlanta. The ladies greeted us with pleasant spirits. They had their mask on but you could tell they were smiling. I would give this place more than 5 starts if I could. Thank you Queens for such Great Service. I don't have a picture to add because I are it All up!

They are the best hands down! I've tried so many others and still came back here. Even the ones that may have multiple restaurants not mentioning any names because at the end the day we all gone eat. But mane this my all time favorite one of all. Try them u won't be disappointed!

Great service! I made a special request for a jerk tofu dinner and curry tofu dinner and they said yes with no hesitation. Because it was a special order I had to wait for the chef to prepare it. I waited with no problem, I was just happy that they would make it and the ease of it all. The guy that took my order was cordial and personable so the wait was easy. I got my food and it was beautiful. The presentation and portions was on point. Got home opened it up and was delighted. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I’ve been doing them a disservice by not completing a review sooner. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for about a year now. The ox tails are absolutely delicious. Last night, I tried the curry goat and it was amazing as well. The Mac and cheese is soulful. And the portions and freshness will never disappoint. Other than Dat Fire Chicken when I’m downtown, this is the only Jamaican restaurant I always want to come back to whether it’s ordering through UberEats or picking up.

Great food and great variety. Very well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The best place in town to buy patties and any other Island dishes. They even have a couple of American favorites on their menu. I also must mention their very fair pricing and friendly service. Once you visit you will return often, me and my kids do.

I'm an Uber Eats driver. I went there twice last night for deliveries. It smells amazing in there. The guy was thorough and actually checked my app and the food to make sure it was correct before I left. I appreciated him doing that because most restaurants don't. I will try the food for myself soon an update my review.

I work across the street and I tried them one day and since that day I'm there everyday. The breakfast is good too. But today, they made my tastebuds really happy with the Curry Shrimp! The mac & cheese has leaped into my Top 5 of all time. Hats off to their Chef.

This is updated review as I have went to enough Jamaican spots in this area between Gwinnett and DeKalb over the past 5-10 years to say this place is the best and most timely take out jerk you are going to get. You are in and out with you food usually in less than 10 minutes unless you order wings which they tell in advance there is a wait. I did not realize how great Sun City is until I had came across places that took 10 min to have a pattie ready (who know why) or have a wait on jerk chicken (this is cooked already- yes?) or simply have hours posted wether on Google or at the location but not even be open. The food? Everything. Jerk. Curry. Sauce on sauce and no problem showing love with the gravy. The staff are always cool and ready to serve. Overall good food, good service and good vibes. ✌
