Money did an excellent job on my son’s hair. She throughly cleansed his hair and did a great re-twist and style !!

I have been to 2 locations and the University, every visit has been great! I love that Ms Vernise is not only the owner, she is the instructor, and is hands on at her locations. The students and loctitians are friendly, informative, and do an amazing job! I've had the pleasure of being serviced by SiSi, Key, and Alexis, each visit was enjoyable! I have learned so much more about caring for my locs since going to Shea Locs than I have from any other loctitian I've been to. My only regret is that I didn't start my loc journey with them from the start!

So let me start by saying

THEY ARE A BEAST Period! The atmosphere was great and refreshing. The lady are wonderful. I received a Detox, Retwist with an up do, and one side shaved. Noelette did an amazing job and is such a great person. She definitely gained a loyal client.

The the piece are really go to. Anyway you looking to start locs, or just need a consistent place to go. I definitely recommend checking them out.

They did a good job repairing my locs. I will be back.

I’ve always done my own locs for 12 years. I was in search of a place that would give me the same care as I gave myself! They did that and more. The detox was amazing. I had ropes done. I loved them and the end of staying in for a month.

I absolutely love this location for their professionalism and the experience. I’ve noticed some people have moved on with their careers and some new faces have arrived. Yet, the professionalism never shifted gears. I started my Locs at Shea Locs in 2021 at the Morrow location and during that time I had the opportunity to listen in and engage in a conversation with the owner Vernice about how she took a vacation to Florida I believe, and was able to wash the color out of her hair with Florida water for cleansing purposes. The way she spoke about it was genuine and made her ora shine even brighter. I definitely respected her more for her brand and the story posted on instagram about how she got started. The energy at this location has always been relaxed and a safe space for you to be free. It all starts at the top. Every stylist was just as humble and down to earth as the owner because she sets that tone. Despite my experience at another location, I am grateful to have enjoyed the Shea Loc experience in the very beginning of my journey because it’s definitely a vibe you don’t want to miss out on.

I had given up on continuing my loc journey until I was blessed to meet Bonnie. The way she spoke life & positivity in my hair she changed my mind. Very communicative, took her time to explain what my hair was lacking & how to restore it. I will never let anyone but her touch my hair again!!! *chef’s kiss

I have not taken my daughter to another shop since finding Shea Locs studio. They do an awesome job, and care about the health of your hair. They have a very welcoming environment

I stopped by this location at the mall just as an inquiry about future services. I was greeted by the receptionist and explained that I was interested in locs and was curious about how long my hair would need to be. I was expecting to be blew off as customer service is non existent theses days. Instead, this young lady went and grabbed another young lady by the name of Bonnie. Omg! Bonnie was amazing she sat me in her chair and knew exactly what problems I had been having with my hair texture without me having to say a thing! She tried a couple products on my head and I could immediately understand exactly what she was teaching me. I say teaching because she was able to make me understand things about my hair type that I didn’t even know. I ended up buying the products just because these two ladies(I am so sorry I don’t know the receptionist name) went way above and beyond just from a question! I am actually looking forward to making an appointment when my hair meets the appropriate length.

I had my consultation at Shea Locs Hair Studio in Southlake Mall. My consultant was Tori and she was so patient, professional and pleasant. She talked me through the entire process and explained every step of this wonderful journey I’m about to embark on. The entire atmosphere and staff were so warm and inviting. If I could give 10 stars I would!

This place has helped me tremendously in my baby girl’s loc journey. They always have good vibes, good music and are ready to answer any questions. My baby loves getting her hair done here.

I’ve been coming Erica at Shea Locs Morrow for about a year and a half. My locs are long so they are a chore for me to do myself and coming to Erica regularly has CHANGED MY LIFE. The health of my hair has improved dramatically and and I’ve been able to experiment with all kinds of styles. Erica executes every idea I have quickly and expertly and has me and my waist length hair in and out with wash, retwist and style in about 3.5 hours which is CRAZY. I’ve been to a lot of locticians in Atl and I really appreciate the professionalism of Shea Locs. The entire process is very organized and professional and the remodel is super cute. Highly recommend!

I initially brought my 10 year son at this location to get his locs washed and retwisted in which he had Bonnie. I made an appointment for myself and was serviced by Bonnie as well. She did an excellent job and the thing I love about this location is the atmosphere!!! They are so positive and welcoming, I love it. You will also see them working as a team with one another’s clients. I love it here and definitely will be a consistent client. And oh yeah they take care of your locs not just retwist it.

The atmosphere at the Morrow location was very welcoming. My stylist was Cherry she was very knowledgeable about my hair and scalp. It was very reassuring to find someone to care about your hair (natural). I will be booking her again very soon.

I went in to see Michelle for a loc repair consultation. She was very pleasant and gave my hair a good evaluation. She helped with a quick repair and sent me on my way. I'll definitely be back. Great first impression!
