Taste and See - Plant Based Eatery

This is my second time eating here, but my first time inside. It’s such a cute restaurant. The service was excellent. But the most important thing was the food. Today I got vegan cauliflower chicken wings, and they were the best! I haven’t stopped talking about how crispy they were! I cannot wait until I come back to try all the flavors!

Also, I am NOT vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc. I just like good food and they definitely have great food.

My husband and I stopped in for the first time yesterday and everything was DELICIOUS. Best vegan Mac I’ve ever tasted and the oat burger was exceptional. The fried chicken bites were also top notch. I wish we lived closer so we could come once a week. The couple who owns and operates are lovely as well. The pineapple juice was scrumptious too.

Amazing vegan food! Air fried potato wedges and cauliflower wings was a nice surprise! Mac & cheese was made with super clean ingredients. You can really tell they put love and effort in their food! Price is very reasonable! If you’re ginger fan, please get their hibiscus tea! Best thing ever!

1st time eating plant based food, and it was phenomenal! Can't wait to try something new next chance I get! Owners are very nice overall it's a great experience.

I have gone here four times in the past month. The food is great and the people are very friendly! I recommend the oat burger. The cauliflower wings are also delicious. I love the air-fried potatoes! They have outdoor seating, but just a little counter seating indoors. Overall great restaurant and I plan to return frequently!

First off let me say I am not vegan, but I am fascinated by the lifestyle & hope one day I will be. Anyway, I been reading a lot about this lifestyle and in my research for a vegan restaurant near me I came across Taste and See. I decided to try it out. I got the barbecue plate and cauliflower wings. My sides were greens and mac & cheese. I don't like cheese so I was kinda skeptical about getting the mac and cheese. I am glad I did. Omg that mac and cheese taste better than "regular " mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned well and how they get those cauliflower wings to taste like traditional wings, is a mystery to me. I love the Bible scriptures inside the restaurant as well. I will definitely be back. Oh and you got to get that ginger/lemon/hibiscus tea they got. It was so delicious. I haven't tried my cake yet but I am sure it won't disappoint.

The best vegan food in the south. Super friendly staff! They have a cute little backyard with some colourful chairs and tables. What they could do to be even better is to change all the plastic containers, that the food comes in, to something environmentally friendly. We will come back!

YUM! Literally!! The burger taste better than any I’ve ever had especially the mayo alternative which was thousand island!! I’m really looking forward to transitioning 100% plant based, and this restaurant sure will help. They also are offering cooking classes and more. My cupcake was so good I almost went back for a second one!! It’s so moist and you can taste deliciousness throughout EVERY bite. 10/10 for taste and see.

First the owner Henry is such a ppl person and friendly. Felt welcome the moment I walked in. Ate my jackfruit sandwich on the patio with Mac n cheese and collards. 1 word... delicious. My collards where seasoned well and mac n cheese was better than any play based I've tried. Fresh pear, ginger, juice was also delicious and my dinning experience was so peaceful. Will go back for lunch any day! Also sampler the cauliflower wings and taste and see burger.... Definitely will get the taste and see burger next time.

Go taste and see the food at taste and see. Harry, LaMecca and Rya have plant based food nailed. They love Jesus and it shows not only in their food but in how they treat people. Give Taste and See a try. You will be back.

Wow, I came in for a burger but I'm so glad I went with the daily special, the lasagna! Fantastic! The Hibiscus lemon ginger tea was so refreshing. Definitely check this place out! This was some of the best vegetarian food I’ve had!

Taste & See is the best vegan food in Milledgeville Georgia! It's truly a treat every time I go! They have juice and tea made with fresh ingredients, delicious desserts, satisfying vegan burgers, and the most amazing cauliflower wings I've had to date. The Mac & cheese is creamy & dreamy, and the collards are sweet yet savory. Pictured here is the strawberry shortcake. Taste & see for yourself!

Ok, I'm finishing off my "Taste and See" Burger and this is the absolute tastiest burger 🍔 I've EVER tasted, vegan or otherwise. So so so delicious.

We were so happy with our experience at Taste and See! Placing our order over the phone was easy. Then when we got to the restaurant, Harry, the owner, had our order ready for us and offered to bring our food right out to the patio if we would like. We decided to try the patio and were pleased with how comfy it is! The food was fantastic, with rich, fresh flavors. A couple of the staff members came out to check on us and explained the process of making some of the food—everything is made in-house! I had the barbecue plate and could not have been more pleased. I would definitely recommend this place!

I definitely recommend this restaurant the food is wonderful! My husband and I had no complaints! And they were so kind to me! I made an order through door dash and I didn't get everything I ordered and they personally delivered the order that was left off I thank God for there kindness! I stopped in and tried the cauliflower wings, mac and cheese, and collards. Each was amazing! This was my first time trying a plant based restaurant or meal really. They do an amazing job and the food is delicious. You have to give them a try! I will be back!

Outstanding service, delicious food and a Jesus smile from the owner! My wife and I had the taste and see burger, potato wedges, buffalo cauliflower wings, squash casserole and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was sooo good...we even bought the cookbook!

Let me first say, I am not a fan of vegan food. Rather, I'm not a fan of vegan food pretending to be "regular food". The "Taste & See Burger" changed all that for me. It is amazing! My very particular taste buds did not know they were not eating a real burger. We tried a variety of the cauliflower wings, all of which are excellent. The taste and texture for exactly that of what you would expect from actual wings. All right and can we talk about that cake? Because it literally takes the cake! We have vowed every time we come to Milledgeville we will be eat here. You have got to come in and try it for yourself! I promise you will be so glad you did!

Our first visit. The Taste & See Burger was absolutely delicious! If you didn’t know the burger and mac and cheese were vegan, you could not tell. So impressed with the nice service. Very easy to call and pickup curbside. My new go-to for take out!
