They took very good care of my Max. They drained 2 liters of fluid from his chest cavity. The staff was excellent and the pricing was too. They even gave me a recommendation for a vet that could do an ultrasound.

We are extremely grateful for such a wonderful staff. Our beau has progressed within the last 2 1/2 days with you guys and we couldn’t be happier. We are super blessed that this place was able to help with our finances and to get us in a budget we could afford. I would recommend this place to anybody. We thank you all so much for your greatness and support!!

I am very grateful for the care our dog, Nick, received yesterday. Dr. Pam, the vet techs, and the entire staff were very compassionate and thorough with his care. Beyond happy to say our boy is doing so much better today! Always reassured in the event of an emergency, that our fur babies have a place to go for wonderful care. I brought my very ill kitty to the vet clinic last Sunday. Not only did the vet make a quick diagnosis of the severity of his condition, she was empathic and kind when she told me euthanasia was necessary. The entire staff was caring and gentle.

After reading some reviews I was slightly nervous, but I was pleasantly surprised. We were visiting from out of town and my 13 y/o dog needed emergency stomach surgery the night before NYE, after hours (as they do). Though they were understaffed, and we were all exhausted, they were patient and explained everything to me with kindness and understanding. They quoted me the costs with a thoughrough breakdown. It wasn't cheap, but what after hours/holiday/weekend emergency surgery is? He had to stay three nights and they took great care of him. It was a little hard to get a hold of the doctor and I had to be persistent, but I blame circumstances and not their faculty. Overall, they saved my dog's life and it truly felt like they cared about my dog and weren't trying to nickle and dime me for everything.

We had a scare with our 11 y/o dog, Chevy, and brought him in on a Saturday. The doctor and staff were extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. The doctor explained what he believed to be the issue and helped point us toward next steps. The following Monday we ended up having to put our boy to sleep due to cancer with our regular vet. I called the Emergency Clinic to thank them for the kindness they showed us.

Fast forward to a week later, we just received a card in the mail expressing their condolences signed by their entire staff.

They didn’t have to do that and I’m writing this review for someone to know that they can trust this clinic with their animal babies. And yes, emergency clinics are expensive but they were there when no one else could be and we are grateful.

I don’t know why there are so many unfavorable comments. My experience with VEC was that they were very helpful, caring, and professional. Dr. Robinson was great with our Symon boy. I explained the situation with him and she went right to work on him. They also gave me an alternative plan for him and it was about half of the original plan cost. I’m on a fixed income and that’s why they worked with me and adjusted the service and recalculated the cost. It’s hard to tell if Symon is reacting to the treatment, as of now he’s sleeping under the bed. We know that Dr. Robinson did everything she could, but he’s too far gone and the best thing is to let him do what he wants and keep him comfortable. Thank you Dr. Robinson and the staff at VEC for your delicate care of my 18 year old fur baby.

Our dog had a pistachio shell stuck in her mouth. These ladies were amazing with her. They took care of the problem and we were in and out in about 15 minutes. Great staff and very clean inside!

I had to take my dog in the this office yesterday evening when they opened, they took us back to a room right away. My dog presented with severe lethargy, had not eaten a meal since Saturday evening, vomiting and dehydration. We had just moved to Florida on July 30th so did not have a regular vet yet. Their communication was excellent, from the time we arrived until the time that we left it was only 3 hours, we knew that she would probably have to stay the night which she did have to do. They presented me with the estimate for services including her blood work and ended up refunding me $ 300 when I picked her up this morning because they had not used up the money I had to pay up front. Their care for her was amazing, I would not hesitate to take her here again if she was in need again. I am very grateful for their compassion.

They were the best ever for my precious Lulu. Didn't charge anything and fixed her up so nice. And sent us a sympathy card signed by all. We love you!

Very thankful to the doctor and nurses on duty Thanksgiving day. My little girl had ingested a string from a toy and was unable to pass it. I had called them ahead of time so they knew I was coming, as soon as I walked inside they were able to put us in a room. We were there for a couple hours but I expected that. All the nurses were very helpful, the doctor answered my questions and explained things well. They spoke highly of my baby and I could tell that they were good people and good to her. Praying that my baby girl keeps getting better after her escapade, but I’ll always be grateful for the staff’s patience and kindness yesterday.

We brought our beloved English Bulldog here after she passed away at home. The staff was very caring. They were able to have her sent off for private Cremation. Later we received our baby in a wonderful well done wood box (which we picked) packaged in nice bag and nice card. Would recommend.

I just brought my senior dog back to this place for the second time already suspecting the worst and it turned out my senior dog had to cross the rainbow bridge. They made sure to give us time to spend with my dog before on a comfortable blanket (provided by them), Explain things to us and took good care of my dog. They helped my family and I get through this very difficult experience. Although my heart is broken Im very thankful to this place for the care they provided and the love and support they showed us.

We have been using them for over 20 years. They are an ER so like to humane ER there is often a wait to be seen but is expected and the care is always wonderful.

Thank you for treating Ellie. We appreciate the time you took to care for her during such a sensitive time. We are so lucky that she had a long and happy life.

My dog was in pretty bad shape over the weekend. He went to our regular vet earlier in the day and he seemed like he was a lot better as the day went on. However, in the middle of the night, he started breathing strangely. I was so scared that he was in respiratory distress. I called this clinic and the wonderful young lady on the phone was so calm that it helped me stay calm as well. I brought my dog in and even though the vet was getting ready to go into a surgery, they still took the time to check my dog’s vitals. Turns out that my little guy was reverse sneezing but everything else looked fine. I am so grateful that there is an emergency clinic nearby with an excellent staff. The vet tech gave my Bailey much love and attention and that helped too. Thank you!

When I tell you I've had the best experience here, it's not a joke. Dr. Sweeney and her staff are beyond awesome, compassionate, caring, and thorough. Couldn't ask for a better place when going through an ER with your beloved pet. The were fast, kind & professional. My kitten was very at ease, and we know animals are a great judge of character. Thank you ladies for being the awesome, beautiful woman you are!!!!

Brought my dog in because we thought he ingested grapes from my 3 year old. The vet acted quickly and induced vomiting. He had not eaten any grapes luckily, but it gave us peace of mind that he was ok. No more grapes will be entering our household!
