Silver Lake Pediatrics PA

Both of my children (son 5, daughter 2) have been patients since they were born. We adore Dr.Cheas. He takes the time to sit down and listen to concerns, he interacts with our kids and ensure they have fun in the office eventhough they may be sick. Our daughter has had a few medical emergencies, when she was 7 months old she was hospitalized for a week and Dr.Cheas took the time to call the hospital to check on our daughter. I highly recommend Dr.Cheas to anyone looking for a caring Pediatrician. ♡

I am taking my child to him now, and he takes great care and listens to all of my concerns and questions that I have. The front desk is always so helpful and kind as well as the nurses!

This doctors office is always clean staff is friendly and if I have a issue and my sons needs to be seen they make time and make things workout for my kid. Dr C is a direct doctor and very caring to new parents and the children under his care. Michelle is always just great and caring same as doctor C. Every time I have had a concern he takes the time to answer and educate. Overall I highly recommend silver lake.

Dr. Cheas and Michelle are the best. They aren't even in network with our new insurance so I self pay for my daughter to be seen by them, and its worth every penny. The front staff has always been friendly and easy to work with as well.

Dr. Cheas and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I have always felt that he listens to all of my concerns & provides critical feedback. He has fantastic bedside manners and connect well with my infant. His office staff have always been very professional and kind. Highly recommend!

I've been taking my kids there since my 15 yr old was a baby. We love all the staff and especially Dr Cheas! He really talks to the kids and parents!!

I love this place and can not say enough good things about them. They always can get you in and the wait time is never long. The doctor always talks to my child so she is included in what is going on. You can tell he cars about the child.

I am disappointed with Silver Lake Pediactrics. They diagnosed my daughter with whooping cough because she was swabbed for different things a week ago and a positive test came back today. She has had absolutely none of the symptoms of whooping cough so this was very strange to me. She is also up to date on all her vaccines which includes whooping cough. The nurse wrote her a prescription right whenever they received the positive test back and called me on the phone to let me know. They didn’t even question how inaccurate this diagnosis was. I wanted a second opinion and when I let Silver Lake Pediactrics know that I was going to get one, the administrator said they were going to drop my daughter as a patient if I did. Well, I got a second opinion from a new doctor and she said it was crazy to even think my daughter has whooping cough! She has no cough or cold like symptoms. She explained to me why the test could have came back positive. I’m so glad I got a second opinion and didn’t just put her on an antibiotic she didn’t need.

I took my infant there till she was about 6 months old when we were in the office and she has having breathing issues they had called 911 because her oxygen levels had dropped low and turned out to be RSV. They didn't inform me what was happening till the paramedics came in the room and put my daughter on a stretcher to take her to LRMC. I also had a bad experience with Dr. Cheas and how I felt he didn't listen to my concern with my preemie infant. I will say the office ladies where helpful and trying to get us in for appointments.

Highly recommend AVOIDING this place at all cost. Only there for a paycheck! Literally got told that basically today. Did not receive any help or answers for my son who there for a sick visit follow up. They charge $140 for a self pay visit to listen to my sons lungs WITH A BROKEN STETHOSCOPE ( also I want you to know my son has fluid on his lungs per a chest X-ray done at Children’s Orlando health hospital) and she had the nerve to say he sounded clear. Anyone with fluid on their lungs does NOT sound clear. She kept tapping on her stethoscope and said something isn’t right but continued to use it. They read his oxygen levels and just sent us on our way. This practice has gone very down hill and I can see why they lost their other location they use to run. They over charge and do not care about thoroughly looking over a sick child. Please be be mindful and keep your children health in mind when thinking of going here. Nothing but children work there and only there to get paid.

All three of my children went to Dr. Cheas. The last two weeks my youngest of one year had an on going fever (5days) after going to his doctor i was told it was just a cold. The next day he still had a high fever, so being a concerned mother of course i took him to urgent care, he had a double ear infection with bad sinus infection. Dr. Cheas dropped my children afterwards stated that i didnt trust his work. 😤 Last time i checked they are my children and ill take them to 10 others if i feel he needs care! Would NOT recommend! Thank You

Today was our son’s two month check up and his first set of vaccinations(which I wasn’t aware of). When she was in the waiting room they brought her out a form to sign agreeing to all the vaccines. My wife told them she didn’t want to sign without talking to the doctor and myself just to make sure. We aren’t anti vaccines but do like to know what and why certain things are injected into our child. It’s ashame that we aren’t able to even question things we are not sure on.
