Delicious food and fast and friendly service. The chef and owner made rounds around the restaurant to ensure everyone was enjoying their meals. I would definitely an on visiting again. I tried the candied bacon, the duck wontons,(which were amazing) the walleye with parmesan grits, and the shrimp and lobster mac.

I absolutely love Bait & Hook. It's my go-to place for all special occasions or just a quick dinner. The food is always fresh with new items on the menu, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is just my style. Summer is the best when they have music on the patio with outdoor dining. Reservations are suggested.

It was better then I presumed, hard to find good seafood in MN . I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Only open 3 days a week to keep the seafood fresh!! A++++

What a great first visit. Loved the ambiance and greatly appreciated the ability to make a reservation. Got a chance to sample a lot. The Mongolian rib appetizer and slaw stole the show, as did the steak and coconut shrimp. Attentive service and live music was a nice touch. We'll be back!

Friday night bday dinner for 4 and we each got a different menu item, with 2 apps and drinks. Food was excellent! Table agreed highlight was the Cornish hen seconded by the lobster risotto. Will be back for another special occasion. A special and surprising restaurant in cokato.

This is a fine seafood restaurant in Cokato. It's a massive improvement upon the old Norseman restaurant that used to occupy the space. I've been here many times with my family on visits and it never fails to impress. My last visit was a quick stop but I enjoyed the clam chowder and the special. I think the waitress might not have been over 21 as she had to get a colleague to bring me the beer I ordered. All went well nevertheless. They have lots of space at the bar and outside seating as well. They often serve lobster mac and cheese, which is a dish made famous by Joe Beef in Montreal. It's good to see that this decadent dish is popular in Minnesota as well.

My son the well groomed by me expert can’t wait to bring my wife and there. I checked the menu. It looks like something I have not experienced in Minnesota in my many years. We are coming because of my son’s ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐review.

WOW, it was our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. Amazing atmosphere and very attentive staff. The chef even made rounds to check on everybody!!

We started with Kung POW Calamari that was perfectly breaded and deep fried to perfection. The Kung POW sauce was on point too. We then both had fish and chips…..WALLEYE fish and chips. Again perfectly fried and it was obvious that the fish was fresh. The little one had Mac and cheese (alfredo sauce with garlic) and she LOVED it…..so did we!!

You need to stop in, it’s a great place for a dinner date, family dinner night or even a party.

We had my mom's 80th birthday here. We had some visitors and a couple extra people in. Ashley was so wonderful and just took care of everything. Our server was excellent. She did a fine job kept on going. This place is by far exceeded my expectations. It was a great great experience. The cake Ashley took care of the cake which was fabulous and also the flowers bouquets were from Chuck's flowers and he was wonderful . Mom 80th was huge hit this place is great beyond words . Ashley and husband and staff are great.

We were bought a $200 gift card for Bait & Hook.
I'd suggest making a reservation rather than just turning up, you may not get seated.
There was a school reunion going on when we were there so the place was jumping.
The servers still managed to be attentive.
The food was excellent. I can't fault it.
It may be a little pricey, but it's worth checking out.

This place is amazing great wait staff and the owners are super nice! I enjoy this place more and more every time I go! The entire menu is delicious. A true gem. Thanks for a great evening.

Fun find! First time in Cokato and looking for a place to eat. Wow was this place a nice surprise! Food was great, service was fast and friendly. Outdoor patio was a nice option.

Visited here for a birthday celebration, first time here for our group of 10.this is an outstanding resturaunt,food is absolutely amazing,and the prices are very reasonable. Cokato should be proud to have a place like this, I gaurentee you will not be disappointed. Shout out to the owner ( sorry I never got your name) for your help with the lobsters and the great appetizer you gave us!. Our server Kaylee (sorry if I miss spelled it) was an incredible young lady with a great smile and very good at her job.our group thanks all of you for a GREAT night!

I've been waiting 3 years to come here, and wow! The food was amazing! What a gem in Cokato. I had the ribeye and shrimp and it was cooked perfect and melt in your mouth! It's hard to find food this good in the metro, let alone in rural Minnesota. Thank josh I don't have to drive to the metro anymore! Thanks for an amazing meal bait and hook!
Update, been back three times and still amazing! Came for nye dinner with the wife and had a wonderful time and great food!

Starter shrimp/crab cake/prawn dish... sensational! Walleye was just... WOW! Energy and enthusiasm of staff was phenomenal. Make the trip to Minnesota's best kept seafood secret.

My favorite place in Minnesota! I love that my husband I found this Gem in Cokato, MN after golf ⛳. Only open Thursday-Saturday and they have nailed the atmosphere and food. It's Birthday good. A little pricey but worth it.
