What a beautiful campground!!! Easy access sites, not too close to neighbors and restrooms are close to all spots... Beautiful views from almost all spots!!

Great place. Private, and spaced out sites. Can hear 35 but I'm from the city so it's calming.

Really beautiful campground with large private sites. Depending on conditions sometimes there's a lot of freeway noise. If it weren't for this I think the campground would be more popular. We are here on the Friday of Labor Day weekend and hardly anybody here which is kind of nice. Definitely a great spot Midway between the Twin Cities and Duluth if you need to pull off and camp. There are a couple of sites for large RVs. $17 a night to camp is pretty nice.

Stayed here on a Friday night in July on the way up to Duluth. Not super busy. Well spaced campsites in mostly pine forest. The reservoir is not super large, kayaked and paddle boarded. Only downside is that it is very close to I-35 and there is road noise most of the night, but it is a plus if you need somewhere close and convenient while traveling. Other than that, would be a 5-star.

Loved the campsites. Great sunsets if you have a site on the water. Lots of pretty flowers. Wild raspberry's grow here. A little too much road noise from 35.

Pump water tasted very good and the bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper and generally clean.

This is a hidden gem of a campground. Or maybe it isn't. Maybe you should not go here. It's probably too nice.

Stayed at one of the "walk in" sites (#8). Great site- private, with room to pitch several tents and handy trees for a hammock. The river was almost entirely dry, so no fishing. There is constant background noise from 35, but it's a minor annoyance. Good well water.

Camping was nice quiet spot mid-week, October. The road in needs trimming, have 26' class A, scratched trees on every driveway. Back side no problem with interstate noise. Tents may hear more?

Nice place. That a little out of the way from most things. It's a self service campground with self service firewood near by. Pay with cash check or credit card when you get there by writing your campsite down and including your payment and putting it in the dropbox they have. Firewood service is similar and near by just in town. No water hook-up or electric on the sites. They just have a picnic table and fire ring. Many of the sites are spaced with plenty of space between them. You almost feel like you're all alone in the woods!
There are a couple of pit latrines in the campground and one hand-pump well with fresh water for drinking/cooking.
