I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. Worst place by far and if you have any foot issues, I suggest seeing Dr. Meints.

I saw Dr. Curt Kristensen two times. I had an initial visit and opted to return when I could have a few days off my feet. I was seeing him for an ingrown nail problem. I went back to have my ingrown nail removed and that’s when he told me he was also going to remove more of my nail, than previously discussed. Now keep in my mind that I’ve had previous procedures done for this issues. I have never experienced the pain I did, than when he injected the lidocaine! Instead of injecting it slowly, he pushed it in all in at once. He also had a runny nose, to the point I could see it hanging and about to drip on my foot. Most people would excuse themselves and take care of it...not this guy!🤢 Two years later I needed to have it removed again and unfortunately I went back to the same doctor. I suffered the same excruciating pain for a second time, only to have to see a different doctor 2 weeks later. The nail, Dr. Kristensen had supposedly removed hadn’t been removed at all. I was so angry, that when they called to collect the $3.00 co-pay I refused. Not because I couldn’t afford it but because he hadn’t done what my insurance had paid for him to do. I saw Dr. Meints, and he was shocked that my ingrown nail was still completely intact, after being “removed” only 2 weeks earlier. He then proceeded to remove it. He warned me that it was time for the “painful” part, the injection of lidocaine. Much to my surprise, I had very little pain with the entire procedure. So I strongly advise anyone and everyone with foot pain to see Dr. Meints, and avoid Northern Foot & Ankle at all costs!!!
