This is not your typical dive bar.. beautiful building with vaulted ceilings and log cabin feel. My tuna melt was delicious!

1st of all Great Service! Hands down probably the best Service I've had for at least a year and if you look on my reviews time line I've been quite a few places. It was something about their patience and politeness. Very very rare!

There chicken salads are really good. They don't through chicken salads on the menu to fill in their offerings they put though and effort in crafting salads.
Another rarity! If your a salad consumer you know if there chicken salad is more of an after though by a non salad eater.

Anyways, if you're in the area it's worth the stop for a bite. They're a bit pricey for the type of food but the service and quality of food is worth it.

This has become my go to place for lunch as I only work a few miles down the road. Additionally, it is a great place to get together and watch the game. They can accommodate all party sizes too which is nice when celebrating an occasion with the friends. The food is really good here. The chicken sandwich and the burgers are all amazing. The service has never disappointed. Highly recommend.

We had a large family party of 50 people. Food was delicious service excellent and beautiful atmosphere! Lauren helped us plan everything.

The food is amazing, from sandwiches to steak. Great specials and service. The owner is always helping service and Lauren the bartender is the best.

Every food menu I have ordered has been outstanding. Quick service for food and drinks. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable of food and drinks. Lauren is a super bartender. They have daily food specials. Tomorrow Is Cinco de mayo and was told they have margaritas of all kinds on special from open to close for $5.00. Always clean and wonderful atmosphere especially when the weather is nice with the outside patio and fire pit.

The bartender/waitress was awesome. The menu and the food exceeded expectations. My daughter works a few doors down and we just needed something quick to maximize time together for her lunch hour. We will definitely do it again!

We had our holiday party at the restaurant on a Sunday evening and we couldn’t have been happier. The owner and wait staff were very accommodating to our entire staff needs. We had offered appetizers and drinks to our employees and I don’t think one bit of food was left. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Service! Great Food. Been here plenty of times and never had a bad experience. Our waitress Lindsay was hands down the best! Restaurants need more Lindsays. Also, shout out to our server Neil who was absolutely amazing as well and the owner Reef. We will be back, for more fun with all of you guys. you guys are awesome-

I loved this place! Beautiful patio and ambience! I had the Big Mouth Burger and Fries. Hand Pattied, expertly seasoned and cooked burger! PERFECTION!! Staff was very friendly and attentive! Fun date night out. You have to try it! Fun drink menu as well with tons of eye catching concoction's!

Super friendly staff. They really hustle to get what you want quickly with a smile! Food is always hot and tasty. McVee's is where middle America meets up with a tasty, affordable menu. It's my favorite hangout spot with friends in Eastern Oakland County. Can't beat McVee's!!

We ordered carry out: Fish and chips (onion rings, actually), French onion soup, a wet burrito, and spinach artichoke dip.

Everything was hot and delicious. There were 3 good sized pieces of fish and the batter was crispy and yummy. The onion rings were huge and crispy, probably the thickest onions I have ever had in onion rings. The French onion soup had a great flavor and lots of onions and cheese. The spinach and artichoke dip was wonderful and also very cheesy, and the pita bread that comes with it was great too. And the wet burrito was huge and very yummy.

This was our first time here. We will be back. :)

Our first time tonight, we were blown away by the great food and even better service thanks to Marissa G! Can’t wait to come back with family and friends. So many things we want to try on the menu, we had the fettuccini alfredo with shrimp and the salmon spinach salad - both absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to come back and try more delicious food, and will definitely ask for Marissa G next time we are in! Thanks for a great date night!

We recently had a special family and friends get together at McVee’s pub in Troy, for 30 people.
In pre-planning for the event, I found the owner and manager to both be professional and attentive.

Our event was held in a sectioned off patio area that had a great layout, with ample space and seating for our group.
Our food was served buffet style - which was hot, tasty, and on time. (The cheesecake was AMAZING.)

Our server worked the room ensuring our group was well taken care of.
(This is saying a lot, as everyone “expects/wants pre-covid customer service and five-star attention levels” - which are insanely hard to create, as restaurants like this fight to overcome overwhelming hiring/staffing shortages these days)

The bar/restaurant overall has a nice ambiance, it’s spacious, clean , and has a multitude of big screen tv’s to ensure you don’t miss “a single play of any big game” (I’m looking forward to return visit(s) in smaller family/group setting / game days)
