Ride North Marquette

Walked in with the thought of maybe buying a new UTV. My salesman, James, took all the time I needed to test different models, compare specs, get upfront pricing, and ultimately make my final decision. Being that I live hours away, I shopped around and no one could come close the price I was offered out the door. The whole team at Ride North was great to work with. More power sports dealers could learn something from them.

Despite the delay from the manufacturer on my spring check. The crew at Marquette kept me informed along the way and worked to keep me in the loop. Pick up day was easy, they were prepared for us, sleds were clean, indoors, and ready to go! 10/10 recommend for any Powersports you need in Northern Michigan! Thanks guys!

I needed a new snowmobile helmet, and this was definitely the place to go. I went by myself and was the only woman in the store. The salesman treated me with respect and showed me how to use it. The pricing was fair.

My husband and I have been here before they moved and after. They have everything you would need for snowmobiling- boots, coats, pants, gloves, and a good parts department. I will definitely return.

My wife and I visited the representatives of Marquette Power Sports last Sunday at the Superior Domes Boat, Sports and RV Show! If ANYONE is thinking about buying a new camper; go see them! All the reps were so friendly and made sure we found what we were looking for. I HUGE THANK YOU to Jim, who spent so much time with us; he was as a friend, being most concerned about what was important to us. We looked at every corner of the camper we loved, many times! Jim even made sure the battery was up and running so my wife and I could try every button and knob. Jim and I ended up on the roof so he could show me how to care for it. The reps at MPS are perfect examples of how good business is done. It was hard for us to leave that camper behind, a clear indication as we sat inside, right at home. It was great! I have bought multiple machines from here and many accessories as well, from start to finish I am always treated well and after a little haggling always get a great deal!!! Ryan, Matt, and Jeremy are a top notch sales team, Lou and Jess know their stuff in the service department, and a special mention to Jared in parts, super knowledgeable and always willing to help me research and track down the best parts at the best price, and thanks to everyone else who has helped me through the years with any of my powersports needs.

Let me just start off by saying, amazing customer service from Matt and the team at Marquette Powersports. The machine I wanted was difficult to find given the circumstances of the pandemic , but Matt searched, acquired and delivered it in a very timely manner. The parts department also worked with me in getting the accessories I wanted and installed professionally and promptly. Very satisfied with the overall experience at Marquette Powersports and I look forward to doing business with them again soon!

Driving through Marquette to Copper harbor. The day before our can am tire had sprung a slow leak. I had checked it myself and confirmed the leak was on the inside of the wheel and not near the outside bead lock. We arrived to Marquette hoping someone could quickly and simply place the tire on a hydronic press, press the tire down, clean the wheel and place a new sealant. A relatively easy job with the right tools. We stopped by one place and they could do it, but said they couldn’t get to it until 5. Three other places we called either had a similar issue, or said they don’t deal with bead lock tires. We called Powersports, they asked their techs if they could do it and they said they would do it when we arrived. We pulled in, took the tire in, explained the issue and they completed it within 10 minutes, free of charge. They saw an issue and understood our rush. They kindly got us in and out within <15 minutes and back on the road. The service department was great and helped us out of a pinch. We’d stop by again should an issue occur while passing through Marquette.

While camping outside of Munising, MI the weather had been overcast for several days and the solar on our trailer wasn’t keeping up with demand on our batteries. I had purchased a Honda 2200i inverter generator back in Maryland (my home state) to charge the batteries for this reason. However, after starting the generator it wasn’t outputting any power even though it indicated it was operating fine. I called Marquette Powersports for help/suggestions and spoke with the service department on Friday afternoon. The service department attempted to help me trouble shoot the issue even telling me they were going to further research the issue and call me back in a few minutes. Within 30 minutes I received a call back and we again tried to fix my problem but with no luck. The next morning I did the one hour drive to the Marquette Powersports location with my generator hoping there might be something they could do even though I knew if it was a broken part they wouldn’t have a replacement for several days, after I had already left the area heading home. When I got there the service department immediately took the generator into their shop and in a short time let me know they had fixed the problem! They discovered that during a recent recall repair I had done in Maryland, the technician had applied too much dielectric grease on a fitting causing it to come loose resulting in the problem of no power output.

I really needed the generator to work so I could finish my stay in the State campground before heading home and the Marquette Powersports service department went above and beyond with exceptional support to make this happen! With so many retail services providing poor customer service, my experience with Marquette Powersports stands out as an example of great customer service that saved my last few days in the UP of Michigan!

I’ve always had great service from Dan and Jarod in parts, and I’ve worked with Matt for years before finally buying a new sled. He knows his stuff! Great guys up there at Marquette Powersports!

I recently purchased a new snowmobile from Marquette Powersports and I am beyond impressed with the service. From snowcheck to sled pickup and everything in between I felt like I was Matt’s only customer. They were able to install the add-ons I wanted to my sled and everything went incredibly smoothly. Thank you, now I if we’d just get some snow!

I have been a costumer at Marquette Power Sports for year's. When they didn't have what I'm looking for Matt Winfield found it at a different store went and got it and delivered it asap. The staff is positive and knowledgeable of the products they sell and service.

In the past few years have had great experience with Matt Winfield in sales, good to deal with and good price on my last snowmobile purchase. Service has also been good to deal with lately, took care of the minor issue I had last year well.

Matt has restored our faith in Marquette Power Sports, there was a period of time when we had quit purchasing anything from there and would, actually, travel long distances to buy elsewhere.

We started working with Matt when we were interested in purchasing a side by side. We were unable to find one available anywhere. Matt spent a great deal of time researching options to meet our needs. Although we had to wait for our RZR Pro XP, Matt kept in constant communication with us to update us on the status. He went out of his way to make everything as simple as it could possibly be for us. He was available for us any day of the week and any time of the day!

Not long after that, we had questions about a generator to run our camper. He walked me through a few options and thoroughly explained pros and cons of each. He had my generator ready for me within an hour of my initial inquiry.

Matt has been and continued to be nothing less than exceptional to work with. We will recommend our friends work with him and we will go back to him for ALL of our powersports needs!

Moved to the old Best Buy in Marquette,MI.

My husband and I drove an hour and a half to drive a couple different brands of side by sides. We are an older couple and I didn't have my drivers license with me so I wasn't allowed to ride in them! I've never ridden in one and wanted to see if there's a difference but because they wouldn't let me they lost a sale! They aren't the only dealer so we will shop elsewhere!

After speaking with the sales manager we were able to make a deal on a side by side. He worked with us and beat other dealers prices. He apologized several times for the mix up we had. I recommend this dealership.

Excellent place to get all season ATV's. There are snowmobiles, boats, water sports items, four wheelers, side by sides, and everything that goes with them . The staff is so nice and very helpful. We had Tommy wait on us and he was very helpful and knew his products. Was very impressed with the quality of products and impressed with the support staff and how helpful they were too. A very clean store...very well stocked...and high quality products. Very pleased with this place.

We went in yesterday to get our deposit back on a previous item we placed over a year ago. We thought they would give us a hard time just based on what people have been saying about the company.
