Springs Lodge & Cottages

Amazing owners and location. My husband and I visited 4 years ago to celebrate an anniversary and had the pleasure of meeting Carla and her family. They were so helpful and kind. We stayed in cottage 20 and love the location. We brought our chocolate lab who loved swimming in the lake. We are going back this summer with my parents, and sisters family, plus our three kids this time! It has been easy to communicate with Carla and we are so excited for our stay!

We stayed at Spring Lodge in August 2016.

It was an unscheduled stop on a spontaneous vacation.

Needed a place to stay, so we knocked on the door after dark and were graciously greeted by one if the owners. She provided us with 2 options, which both provided us with clean, cute, cozy, updated, friendly cabin to stay. And even provided us with a late check out, due to our late arrival.

The next morning we walked around the property to check out the grounds with the intention of booking a vacation for the entire family for next summer.

We were fortunate to meet very friendly employees who were able answer all of our questions about the resort and area. Even got to walk through cabins to do our own personal inspection to satisfy our curiosity.

These new owners care about their investment and their guests.

Highly recommend! We came as a multi-generational family ages 14-74! ( my family came here for years) this year it was my self, my husband, our 3 kids + their 3 friends, my mom, my friend and her kids! Everyone loved it! My kids keep talking about how it was one of the best vacations ever! As good as going on the cruises! We kayaked, paddle boarded, jet skied, boated, fished, swam, biked, saw amazing sunsets, played cards, had bonfires, just enjoyed family and friends! There is yoga on the beach in the mornings, and on Friday’s a live band on the dock . I have had so many wonderful memories here and I am so grateful that now I am getting to make more memories here with my husband and kids. It’s our new family tradition, a yearly trip to the SL! We come all the way from Charlotte NC! The cabins are clean and cozy and have all that you need! We rented a pontoon from them and it was great! Our entire crew can not wait to go back ! See u in July 2020! ‘This is a place where my kids will end up bringing their kids in the future! Love love love it! Btw the kayaks, and bikes are there for the guests to use at no cost !

Though I've never stayed the night at Spring Lodge, I love to visit. They offer live music, yoga and have a nice beach. Just recently they hosted the Odyssey Swim Run welcoming everyone to come and see the excitement.

Amazing location on Snows Channel in Les Cheneaux. Friendly service. Great family value and plenty to do.

As a fellow resort owner in the area. I have had the opportunity to stay in one of the cozy cabins at Spring Lodge. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and often recommend Spring lodge to potential guests when we have no vacancy. Spring Lodge is making many improvements. They care about their customers and offer a worry-free vacation to one of the most beautiful destinations in Michigan.

As for the local gal looking for help with a boat that ran out of gas, depending on the time of year or the time of day, it can be very difficult to help a passer-by with a problem at a moments notice when you have limited resources, are a new resort owner, and have nearly many irons already in the fire. Juggling tasks can be difficult in the short rental seasons in a small town. This was an unfortunate event for the boater, but is a risk every driver takes if they don't watch their gas gauge. We at Hills Point Resort usually have extra boats in the water and can provide assistance to stranded boaters if they call us from June 1st to September 1st. We have a number of boat rentals and often rent boats off site, so we are prepared for these unfortunate events.

It's too bad this gas-less boating gal wrote such a harsh review and made her problem some how the fault of Spring Lodge... Please review responsibly, a person's livelihood and reputation is at stake and emotional responses in the moment aren't always a reflection of the true nature of a situation. Your public opinion matters, but please consider what you say, as readers will consider the source.

Wonderful location; wonderful clean and well-equipped cottages; wonderful staff (they even noticed and mailed a left bathing suit back to me); wonderful to be free to use not only the beach but also the kayaks and paddleboats. The paddle-boards are well worth the reasonable rental fee (they are the only non-motorized craft there that have a fee). They are high quality boards, and that makes a big difference when one is paddling in a g(G)reat lake. We had a lovely Mom-daughter sojourn at Spring Lodge while clearly it would be a great place for larger reunions too.

Cabins look exactly like website photos. Staff was very friendly. Very clean beach with lots of kids toys and beach chairs to use. No a/c in cabins, but they are well shaded and there is a fan on every room.

Cozy cabins right on Lake Huron/Les Cheneaux Islands. All the amenities you need, and great boat rentals as well. Family- and pet- oriented. Next time, we'll stay longer!

Spring Lodge is completely different under the new ownership. Thank you for preserving a destination for many. You are doing a wonderful job. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful location for an LCI vacation! They have live music every Friday in the summer!
