Excellent food. We got the whitefish & chips, Triple Crown sandwich, pulled pork grilled cheese, and Painted Pony Macaroni (deep-fried mac n cheese balls). The macaroni balls were good but were a little dry inside. Otherwise, would highly recommend everything else we ordered! Service was good as well.

This place is Awesome! The cheese crock is HEAVENLY. All the food is delightful. Even the music is perfect! The service is spot-on and the staff is cheerfully fun. A must stop on Mackinac Island!

Had meatball and potatoes along with whitefish rueben. Great atmosphere, easy seating earlier for dinner. Friendly service, good drinks, and good location.

Probably everyone's favorite meal the whole trip. Not sure how they seated us so quickly on a busy day in high season. We had read the menu in advance and were prepared to return the favor by ordering quickly so they could turn the table to the next guest. Attentive waitstaff and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Good value. Free parking for bikes was a nice bonus.

We were seated quickly even though it was the Fourth and super busy. The Whitefish and Chips were great and the churros were even better. 5 *s.

We decided to stop at the Seabiscuit Cafe for a late lunch. We ordered the Painted Pony Macaroni appetizer and it was delicious. My husband ordered the World Famous Derby Burger and I ordered the Whitefish and Chips. Both main course meals were delicious. Definitely recommend eating here while on the island.

We wanted a good breakfast for our last morning on the island. This was by far the best breakfast out of the three we had this trip.

We always enjoy stopping here while we're on the Island. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff has always been great with each visit. We usually stick to our favorites. Hubs loves the French Dip (now called the Sicilian). My favorite is the Triple Crown & their tomato bisque. Portions are generous IMO. If we're just doing a day trip, we will share a plate so we aren't too full to enjoy everything the Island has to offer. I highly recommend giving this place a shot!

We stopped in to have a light lunch. We ordered the cup of whitefish chowder with the whitefish dip. The chowder was amazing. The dip was also amazing. It was a pate with Flatbread and crackers. Our server was so nice, and we enjoyed chatting with her and learning more about the island. With so many choices on the island, we are glad we stopped here.

Best food we've had in all our years coming to the island. Wish we would have tried it sooner. Burger was cooked perfectly and the old fashion was on point. Thank you for a great meal!

So far to me best food at least on the main drag. Bbq wings, the French dip, fried Mac & cheese. Everything I've seen looks excellent. Nice pub feel. Relaxing place.

We stayed on the island for 5 days and ate here 3 times. I cannot say enough about the quality of food (the duck special was outstanding and breakfast was also), or the friendly and accommodating waitstaff. Atmosphere is fun. Do not pass this place by when you're in town!!

I have celiac disease and was super worried about options while on the island.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when my family and I stopped here, I was greeted with options! Our waitress was very knowledgeable of celiac and the risk of cross contamination. There isn’t a gluten free menu but, they can help guide your order. I got the grilled whitefish, kettle chips, the slaw, and a small side salad. This has to be my best gluten free food experience through our whole trip. Super thankful for the safety precautions and my illness being taken seriously! Highly recommend for anyone gluten free and not.

We stopped at Seabiscuit for lunch after we arrived on the island. Great service, the drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. The smoked whitefish dip was unlike anything we’d ever had - we loved it!

This place is so fun. The food was great the drinks were great, and the staff were even better (shoutout to Ashley and the bartender who sat down and chatted with us about our drink choices)! Best lobster roll I've had in the Midwest.
