Recently we lost our mother and following her last wishes we asked Delehanty to handle her services. They were professional and empathetic to our wishes and concerns. I would say "they did her proud". Tim and Judy were attentive to our needs and helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. Tim even drove to our home the following day to deliver the flowers people sent for her. Thank you for going over and above and for helping to make our grieving a little easier.

My parents, my wife's brother and many friends funerals have been handled by Delehanty thru the years. We have always had great service from them so when my wife of 49 years passed away on July 4th, 2024 I immediately contacted them. I would recommend anyone needing a funeral planned contact them.

Our family has used Delehanty Funeral Home for many years and will continue to use them in the future. Our most recent experience, one month ago, was top notch. Garrett,Joe, and their staff were great to work with.

I have lost six family members since 2012 and I had all the services done at/by Delehanty Funeral Home . They treated me with highest respect and kindness every time . They cater to your wishes and will suggest things that you may have not thought about, but if you say no, they are not pushy . Wonderful people to deal with at a bad time .

Garrett and the rest of the staff were always kind and very professional in handling my father’s funeral. They spent a lot of time with us and checked in on us afterwards to be sure we were doing ok and to see if there was anything we needed.

At age 26, I’d never expect to lose my father. Tim and the Delehanty team did a wonderful job on my dad and took a lot of the pressure off of me. Not only that, they’ve continued to reach out checking in on me; which has been wonderful.

We used Delehanty for both my parents. They were compassionate and assisted with any needs we had during the difficult time.

When my mom died 30 years ago Delehanty Funeral Home was there to help us through our sorrow. She had cancer, and we had talked with them prior to her death. They were who we called when she passed. 5 years ago, we unfortunately lost our dad. Again Delehanty was incredibly kind and helpful. Garrett was there for our every need. They even recommended the perfect country cemetery for dad. Last month my husband passed suddenly and unexpectedly. I told the hospital to call Delehanty. Shortly after I got home, I got a call from Delehanty. I asked if it was Garrett but I was told Garrett was at the hospital with my husband. It was so reassuring that my husband was not alone. It was like a friend was with him. From the moment we were in need and all through the services, Delehanty was with us every step of the way.

Joe Trapani was great; every detail was laid out with our family’s wishes in mind. On a couple things I was hesitant to make a decision and at no time did I feel rushed. They did an excellent job of my wife’s appearance for the open casket viewing. Appreciate so much the professionalism and assistance of the entire staff. I highly recommend Delehanty Funeral Home.

Delehanty did a good job of managing the passing of my 104 year old mother. They were concerned, helpful, and efficient in their work. Mom had signed up many years ago and they were very good sticking to their contract and not overcharging.

Delahanty treated us like family through the entire process. They were there to answer any questions we had and helped us plan a sentimental service for our Mom. They even checked on us after a week or so to make sure we were doing okay and offered grieving help. I would recommend them to anyone going through a loss.

Delehanty Funeral Home has provided many funerals for our families over the many years they have been in business in Loves Park. Recently their services were needed for two family members. One that required a full service burial, and also another that was a cremation service. In both instances, every detail was handled by the Delehanty family and their staff with dignity and compassion.
