DHS Family Community Resource Center - Winnebago

People come here for a free service. Yes there is going to be a long wait, little if any follow up or call backs, and yes some of the employees can get quite snippy with the customers. However this is a state-run business with overworked and overly tired employees, therefore the service here all depends on who you talk to and what time you go in. Like I said people come here for free healthcare and free assistance. If you need the help and resources they provide then the wait is worth it in the long run.

Office never answered the phone it hangs up or sends you to call center who can't help you either! Omg

No one ever answers a phone & when you leave a voicemail they never return your call! I always have to contact Springfield to get anything done over the phone! Shame on Rockford office this is not ok we’re a highly immunocompromised family and can’t wait in line all day and take the possibility of exposing ourselves to Covid or any other illnesses!

Just received my link card on o7/23, got 3months worth of back up. Was supposed to get stamps on the 6th for Aug. &&have not received them. Then when you call no EVER ANSWERS YOU. The operator won't even answer you. Am I the only one who hasn't received their stamps.

went into office on Wednesday, sat for two and a half hours before the security guard ( not an actual office worker) informed me that caseworkers don't see people on Wednesday, the worker behind the glass gave me a piece of paper with phone numbers on it and I have been calling those numbers every day since and never get an actual person, I have left several messages and nobody calls me back, i have to give this place a single star but they are not even worth that but its the only way I can post, they build this big new facility and it's still the same sub standard service with case workers who don't even try to hide their lack of caring for whatever our concerns are

If 0 stars was available i would give it!!!! THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE I HAVE TRIED 30 TIMES IN THE LAST 2HRS RINGS 3 TIMES AND HANGS UP OR GOES TO A VOICEMAIL!!!!!! POS EVERYONE THERE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!

Could never get through to someone, then it just hung up after I sat on hold for over 45 minutes

When you call they never pick up . Let alone call you back . I have even emailed them an got sent to ABE which don't help at all. An not all people have transportation to go to their office

Going there is usually a nightmare, and calling there is even worse -- no matter the day or time (I've tried them all) I've never gotten through to anyone or gotten a call back - whether I leave a message or not -- and I realize this is a busy, public service office, but that's not an excuse for such poor service and/or communication.

Can never ever get anybody on the phone when calling, they are a mess on the inside with people and the order they go about things.

Horrible service. Called everyday for 5 days straight. Never spoke with a person or received a phone call back!

Operator hangs up all calls. No point in calling.

I cannot speak with anyone...garbage service...are you guys confused???your not the IRS or the DMV, pick up the damn phone..
