Went a second year in a row due to identity theft and was greated once again by the nicest lobby security team and the nicest and polite tax personal. I don't know what kind of person could complain about anything. I was in and out in 15 minutes and actually regretted not being able to shoot the breeze with the friendly staff because they are all business. Business or not it was like talking to an old friend. I will also try to by this great staff lunch if it's allowed.

I have for the past two years relied on the expertise of Marie Reck, one of the very capable staff at this office, to help me prepare and file my Illinois tax returns. While my returns are not so complex as to require a CPA to prepare, there is a wrinkle or two that left me scratching my head as to what Illinois needed on its 1040. Ms. Reck deftly navigates the eddies and shores of the great Revenue River, and delivered me to Tax Compliance. Kudos to all.

I operate a part time IT consulting business and admittedly know next to nothing about taxes. I don't make the kind of money that pays for me to hire a consultant to do my accounting either. That said, everyone here has always gone above and beyond in helping me understand what I'm doing and helping me correct a few honest mistakes along the way. As much as I dislike paying taxes, the folks over here are great people and I'm happy to have them as a resource.

Honestly I went into this office expecting the typical government building customer service and was amazed at how helpful they were. I couldn't get my taxes to efile and they went above and beyond to help me get my taxes filed

I have been down to the office 2 years in a row and I could have found a more cooperative and pleasent staff. Not only did they help they totally fixed areas of errors I made and it was excellent work. This staff is solid keep them happy!!!

Excellent customer service

Received a letter from the IDOR regarding my tax return with both mine and my wife’s name misspelled. It invokes very little confidence in our government when you can’t even copy a type written name on a tax return without screwing it up. Very sad IL government.

Wow. Worst people to deal with.. had phone hearing. Never got the call. Case lost.. wasted whole day off off work.. fighting for 2 years now
