Rockford Day Nursery

I love this daycare. I worked here last year for a few months when there were different office staff. (director, assistant director, program coordinator)They treated us, the staff terrible and didn't care about the kids or families at all. They didn't value anyone and they lost so many staff because of it. I left because of that.

I will say that the teacher's and teacher's assistants always do their job. I have always loved that the teacher's did so much with my children. Art projects and A LOT of learning activities. The staff is very hands on and it shows. They help a lot with my parenting wishes as well. They help discipline like I do and they help with potty training it is nice. All of my 3 children have attended from infant all the way to preschool.

There have been a lot of changes in the past year but very good changes. I would go back and work there if I didn't already have a job. I absolutely love the new director Dee, she is very kind and has been since day one. I can always come to her with questions or concerns and she addresses them immediately.
I always send people over to Rockford day through the years I have sent so many families because I truly love the daycare.

I work here. I have worked here for over ten years. I've read some of your reviews. You believe that the current director is unprofessional. You're wrong. She's not unprofessional, and you can trust us to watch your children.
Let me tell you something that you don't know. We love your children. We wake up every day looking to see them. There are times when we are sad or upset because of the stuff that we are going through. And a hug from your children make us feel a little better.
No one is perfect, and we do the best that we can.

Under new leadership and becoming a beautifully run school. So proud to be a part of this wonderful learning center.

Teachers are kind and you can tell they are trying their best

Teachers and aide are very efficient and friendly, management particularly the director of the facility is a troubled person, not only does she speak to her employee harshly as if they were children but in
present of other staff members she has no empathy with any of her good employees when when dealing with their work and passing through a very difficult situation. Employees are forced to either resign or she makes it difficult for hem so that they just pick up and leave. Seriously that woman has an issue and upper management should review her conduct.

I used to work here and my kids attended the daycare for a month. Don't even consider this place. Save yourself the trouble. The director likes to fire people then rehire the people she fired because she realizes she is short staffed. She doesn't know how to run a day care. DCFS guidelines aren't followed and they are notorious for falsifying documents. Bugs are everywhere. If you do a walk through, guarantee you will see them. They don't keep up their play grounds. The list goes one. Only writing this because a teacher wrote positive review but I feel like parents should know the truth.

It once was a great daycare into the got new staff. MS D was great and the girls that was there where Awesome. Who they have running it now, good luck. I miss the old Rockford Day Nursery. Won't never take my kids here again.
If you do be prepared to leave work early at least 3 times a week if not more from them calling to have you pick them up.

Pay attention to the very low ratings and comments here. There’s your warning. Upper management has very little empathy towards her employees. The poor ratings speaks volumes. I don’t have to say much but that I wish I had done my research on this daycare:(

The owner is very unprofessional the workers r the same way, they gossip and tlk about unprofessional things in front of the Children. With Covid-19 going on the staff aren't required by their boss to wear mask which is mandatory by the CDC & have to be worn in schools, public resturants, and pretty much any where you go now and they are working with children not wearing them. My son attended 2 days will never go back and no child that I have will ever go here. Highly recommend Trinity on n 1st 1 way and circles of learning both are professional and handle your child with care!! Also as you see in the recent reviews the only positive ones are from ppl whom are employed there. Which says a lot. Call i guarantee you they have an opening for your child. Ppl constantly pull they're children out of this daycare. Highly recommend you do research before placing your children here. I didn't and regret that I waisted my time enrolling mine.

Very bad business I don’t recommend this day care at all !! they don’t change the kids until it’s time for the parents to come get them, The teachers aids sits on there phones all day and doesn’t pay attention to the kids doesn’t wipe there noses or faces what so ever they Also they don’t watch the little babies at all when they put them to sleep they put the covers over there’s heads which your not supposed to do to a child at all they leave them unattended for long periods of time Last but not least the head director is very Unprofessional smh

The new director is very UNPROFESSIONAL! Doesn’t know how to talk to people. Not able to have an adult conversation at all!

Very unprofessional. Lack proper communication skills. Hire aggressive and antagonizing staff.

Ingrese a mi hija aún sabiendo los malos comentarios hacia esta guardería, quise creer q todo era parte del pasado, pero obvio no empezando por el alto mando la directora, ella bien pedante, tiene un mal genio trata mal a las personas,me dio de baja a mi hija solo porque falto 2 días en la semana, ni q fuera una escuela, la directora y la otra señora (gorda) q pasa en frente solo de mal carácter lo atienden, siento q no se interesan por los niños , sino por el dinero mensual . Si de verdad piensas en una buena guardería , está NO ES UNA BUENA OPCIÓN
