Beyer Peaches Stadium

Beyer Peaches Stadium is the original location that the Rockford Peaches played baseball- what a cool piece of history! Though the original stadium no longer exists; there is a ball field, some history placards, and the original ticket booth. If you can't make it to the Midway Village Museum, this is a great spot to read up on Peaches history.

The field was being watered during our visit, which tells me its well-maintained (you can also tell just by looking at it). The dugouts have murals memorializing the Peaches, very neat!

Lots of history on this little field, information kiosk along a nice pathway tells you the history of the location.

I was excited just to get to stop and visit here because it's just a cool place and historical memories.

Such a cool place to visit. As a fan of A League of Their Own this was a must stop place for me in Rockford. The grounds are kept up and it’s a beautiful place to walk around. Worth checking out as this is a big part of American History.

Great piece of history still standing

Totally worth a detour on a road trip! The original, restored ticket booth still stands on the corner. The park also contains plaques and signage referring to the famous Rockford Peaches.

So great to visit and admire all the hard work the people of Rockford put into preserving this historic baseball sight. Well done Rockford, definitely will recommend to family and friends to visit.

Had a great time field in great shape. Thankful for the organization to put on an event for our youth to get out there and play ball. Too bad we got rained out.
