Gensler Gardens

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We've been coming here for a long as I can remember for hanging baskets as gifts for mother's day. Of course we always purchase several ourselves and love the size, price, and quality of everything they offer. I've never seen anything comparable to their quality for the price.

This very large greenhouse has a huge selection of flowers and plants. The prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly and helpful. The building is very well maintained, organized and clean. It’s obvious that that the owner and employees take pride in their business.

Gensler Gardens is a fabulous greenhouse and nursery. It is huge! It has everything you could ever look for! There is a large indoor section with pottery and pots and decorative items. It's wonderful for unique gifts. And then there are many outdoor spaces and greenhouse rooms with thousands of beautiful plants. The care and love that goes into growing these beautiful flowers and plants is evident! I have bought plants there and then other big-box stores. I don't think I'll ever go back to the other stores!

Came here looking for flowers for a planter for the yard and didn't realize the vast selection of other plants they had. Everything from fruits and vegetables to hanging baskets, flowers, grasses, and decorative pieces for yards, porches, and more. Beautiful greenhouses and friendly staff

This morning was our first time shopping here, but it will not be our last. Awesome selection of plants, flowers in varied stages of blossoming, and vegetable plants. Reasonable pricing. Helpful staff.

Genslers was a breath of fresh air, a well cared for, open, tidy, sprawling series of greenhouses that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere - apologies to the folks who live nearby - I’m certain to you that it’s NOT the middle of nowhere. Beautifully kept and cared for plants and greenhouse. A destination plant place.

Great quality, reasonable prices and helpful staff. Love the selections and the all the planters. I've been to many nurseries and continually choose Gensler for my gardening needs.

The absolute best flowers and plants around! Great organization, selection, and prices. We were first-time customers this year. Everything we bought at Gensler's has been thriving and growing. Everything we bought at Lowes garden center is wimpy and half dead now. We'll worth the drive!

Great spring collection of starter veggies and lots of Flowers.

I’ve been to all of the garden centers in Rockford, including the Gensler garden on the north side. This one is the best, helpful employees, well maintained plants. It had everything I needed for my flowerpots this spring. Definitely worth checking out! I’ll be coming here every year for my plants.

Unbelievable quality of plants, full and lush, at prices comparable to Menards and Home Depot (for nearly dead plants). No need to go anywhere else. Friendly staff, too!

Great place for plants. Very good home grown tomatoes and squash. Had hoped to get spring flowering bulbs but they do not sell them. Bought tomatoes and mums and fold them see you in the spring.

Great staff very helpful. Handicapped parking and building access. Even helped us get our flowers to the car. Nice plants, got them in the ground and no losses after a week! Yea!!

My mother and grandmothers go to place for flowers every spring. We've never had anything die on us. Large selection of beautiful plants and flowers. The prices are higher than the garden center at Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot, but the quality of the plants is better. Pricing sometimes isn't the clearest. Overall one of the best local places to go and buy flowers.

I live in northern Wisconsin and travel to Chicago a few times a year. I will go out of my way to visit Gensler in the spring to get plants I can't find anywhere else.

They have the best perennials and I've never had a problem with them. They also offer a huge selection of home interior and outdoor gifts, statues, planters, signs and stuff. It's well worth the trip!

A great place to buy flowers. Every spring I buy hanging baskets at this place for my wife. These flowers last the longest compared to other similar stores.
