Rural on Tap

Stopped in for my first time on Saturday for some holiday drinks and may have found my new favorite spot. They had a meat raffle and won some amazing pork chops and the service and other customers were great definitely will be heading back.

Great little bar with a good karaoke crowd on Saturday nights.

We had my mother’s retirement party there and Sierra was the only bartender working. She was fantastic on serving all our guests and very attentive. We just appreciate her immensely!!

It's been a while since I've been to ROT in the old hood! Still a great little neighborhood bar! Friendly staff, groovy patrons, & great music from Ryan V.!

Love Rural. It's great because of how close it is to home. The wait staff are always super friendly and very nice. I haven't had a bad time in the dozen+ times being here. Super affordable. No food here. You can bring in your take out or just order pizza from the pizza shop next door...which is average pizza.

Avery and Michelle are two of the greatest bartenders. Awesome tap takeovers. Frequent bands and comedy trucks. Constantly rotating beer selection, however not always a varied selection. Excellent atmosphere. No food but you can order from Primo's (outstanding) pizza two doors down and they bring it to you. Also Food trucks in the Summer. They also recently started street taco night on Wednesdays which are delicious.

Good beers on draft and in bottles! Friendly staff and weekly events (raffles, trivia, etc.) Make this a great neighborhood bar. Be aware that they do not sell food, but you can order carryout, or walk next door to Primo's Pizza to grab some tasty food.

Great atmosphere for an after dinner drink. They have a great wine selection that keeps me coming back. There is no food, so do not expect to come for an appetizer or anything like that.

This joint is amazing for their well curated beer selections and their constant specials. Whenever I'm in Rockford, ROT is among my first stops along with the Irish Rose. Nick is the James Brown of publicans, i.e., the hardest working (well, promoting) man in tavern running. Don't miss this place.

Great friendly neighborhood bar and brill.... Food is great and people are marvelous.... good prices and drink and beer choices. Everyone should stop in for a visit. You will go back!

Great Craft beers and cocktails. If you like ciders they have the most variety I've seen in Rockford. Not just angry orchard.

Staff is always friendly, atmosphere is upper middle class, and you can get free pizza on Thursdays in a party of two or more. Delightful!

Great place with good atmosphere and super fast, very friendly, staff. Only place you can get a decent ale on that side of state.
