Briggs Floor Sanding & Refinishing

Great Job! Called to have hardwoods refinished. Steve came out and gave a quote that was in line with what I thought it would be. They came out on day one and hung plastic to limit sawdust and got to work. It was four days total from start to end, and well worth the wait. On day five, to take off my shoes and slide across the floor in socks was GREAT! Floors are so smooth and seem to keep looking better each day. Briggs will be my first call if I need hardwood refinished.

We had Steve come out to fix our Lumber Liquidator floor. We paid big money for the floor make this story short they sent me the wrong floor. The guy put them down and in the 4 years we had them we hated them. My husband said call Briggs flooring and see what he thinks. Steve told me it was white oak and still a good floor. He came back three weeks later to strip and varnish them. And do they look wonderful. I did not know that Steve would come out to Albany Wisconsin but he did. Do not go to Lumber Liquidator but call Briggs flooring instead. Thank Steve again for all your hard work.

My floors looks great!! We just moved into a house and the floors were stained in the bedrooms. We decided to refinish. Steve gave me a great quote. Also, after mentioning the comapny my mother in law and a family friend both recommended him. When he came to our home the price he gave was 400 cheaper then what he said. I originally had him schedule out a bit, but we were closing early on our home. My husband wanted floors done sooner and Steve was able to do so. We told him how we wanted it to look (a darker chocolate brown) and he devilered. Thank you for making us proud home owners.

I had a pleasant experience with Briggs. They came in, made repairs to my floor and put down a very nice finish. All my calls were returned promptly. The complaints in the other reviews do not sound like the company I dealt with.

I can't believe how great the floors turned out in our rental. The former tenants did extensive damage to the floors and I was convinced they couldn't be saved. Not only were they saved but they are beautiful! (Attached pic is before & after.)

Briggs does amazing work. My floor still looks amazing after over 10 years! Steve is friendly, prompt and professional and was really good about keeping me updated on all aspects of refinishing my hardwood floor.

They did an amazing job! He was at my house within 48 hrs to give me an estimate. The price was good, and the time was taken to explain the whole process to me. I couldn't have been more pleased!

This company took a very cat and dog urine stained floor (dining room, living room and hallway) and made it look gorgeous! Best of all they sanded and sealed away all the smell!! Very professional, on schedule and cleaned up beautifully!

Called for estimate on some flooring,slow response , never heard from Steve, happened twice . Went with another company 👎

Briggs Flooring installed hardwood flooring in our home and were very responsive with the quote and initial scheduling of the install but are absolutely impossible to reach afterwards. The floor was installed on Jan 7, 2021 except for the doorway reducers which Steve said he would custom make and install in a few days. It's been a year of calling and texting with no response and my flooring is still unfinished. Terrible customer service.

Briggs did our living room years ago and did a fantastic job, so we decided to have them do one of our bedrooms. He came out and gave us a good price and said it would be about 3 weeks before he could do it. Which was fine with us. We removed everything in the room and the carpet the night before. There was a big stain on the floor which we had forgot about. He said that it would be better to replace the floor and said he would call the next with the estimate the next day. That was on 7/21/17 and we haven't heard back from him and today is 8/16/17. I have called and left 2 messages, one which was to ask if he wasn't going to be able to do the job. My dad has used Briggs for all of his floor on needs and like I said they did our livingroom in the mid 90's. I am very disappointed.

He will teturn your phone meassage only to schedule your quote. From that point on it is impossible to to reach him. He arrived day of the job and did a sample board with stain color. My husband told him this was to red. He reassured us that the second stain color will correct the red. The next day my husband asked him to do a sample of second stain before directly applying. It didnt help. Steve tried another color and this appeared better, not a match bit not ad red. The third day he came back to apply the finish. When this dried I noticed it was a satin finish not high gloss like the flooring we asked him to match. I also observed the ted came back out. I left Steve many, many messages to come back. He never came back to resolve this nor returned my phone calls. I would not recommend him to anyone wanting a professional job done

Will never hire Briggs flooring for anything. He came out to my house 9 days ago. Was to get me the estimate within a few days. Never heard from him. Left numerous voicemails that went unanswered. Finally called the emergency number when I was told I would receive the estimates within 2 days. No email, no phone call. There is ZERO communication from this company. I have just wasted almost 2 weeks on this company!!

Called about having our floors refinished. Spoke on the phone after numerous tries to reach him. Eventually we set up a date and time. Waited at my property for close to an hour and he did not show. Thank you for wasting my time and energy for this inconsiderate service. What a terrible way to treat a new customer 👍🏻

I have heard good things about the quality of work Steve does, unfortunatley I never got past him measuring for a quote. Unresponsiveness seems
to be the theme in the reviews.
