L.A .Tan

I've been going here for years. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Best beds.. absolute best employee's. Very knowledgeable about tanning lotions and ect. Employee's are extremely friendly. Love all of them.

Very good experience. I went to the East State location where Jessica was very knowledgeable, thorough & helpful.
Getting ready for a trip and I didn't want people to think I was a ghost.
I was a bit put off that the special I was planning to use had a 3 mo min.that wasn't listed on the card and I only wanted a month-but Jessica & my wife explained it so it made sense to do.
The place was clean and well kept.
Would like extra hooks for my stuff but maybe I should just carry less stuff around.

Alyssa was the best showing my 14 yr old how to spray tan. Great customer service from a young woman which is rare these days. Patient but efficient!

Just had to hop on here and say - this is my favorite tanning salon. Literally look forward to coming to get sprayed every week. My main reason for writing this review is to give Shannon a shout out. She is literally so accommodating and personable everytime I come in. She goes out of her way to make the experience enjoyable and is always so helpful. You all have a great employee on your hands. Thanks for the nose plugs Shannon. 🤣❤

Started tanning about 6/7 months ago for the first time and now i go 1-4x a week. The salon is always clean and i have never had a bad experience with them and highly recommend this place. All the staff have all been very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Plus i only pay $11 a month.

I have been a member for several months, I would of gave this place a five star, but a recent experience has change my mind about this place and other locations in the Rockford area. I wanted to purchase another bottle of lotion, ( I will not disclose the brand names, just the telling the story), this store was out of this brand. I was talked into purchasing a different brand. I was told that she and her boyfriend use it and works great. I am old school, if it's not broken- don't fix it! I trusted her and gone along with what I was told. I used this lotion one time, I had a reaction on my face. After tanning, I was going to approach this young lady and get my money back. But, she was much too busy. Two days later, I brought the bottle back and explained to another young lady. She said she would have to call and ask a manager from another store. After getting off the phone, she apologized to me that I can not get a refund because the sign says so. I looked for this sign. Sure enough it has high up on a shelf. I said, "Great", I said then give this bottle away. I went to tan. After my tan session, I approached the young lady and said I want to cancel my membership. I explained to her that the sign should be posted near the card reader for people to see that there is no refunds on lotion. If I had seen this sign, I would of stuck to the brand I love. This reminds me of a monkey that would not let go of the banana as the monkey has its hand in a hole in a box and its hand and banana is too large to be pulled back through the same hole. I loose my money with no lotion, but they loose more with no more membership money from me. UNREAL!
UPDATE: A couple of days has gone by since I wrote this review and I received a phone call from a manger, she explained to me over a phone call that she would give me the same percentage off on a bottle of my choice. I would only pay the difference in price if the bottle of my choice is more than the original price from the first bottle. I thought this was very helpful and quite thoughtful of this manager! She was extremely apologetic , but she wanted to make sure my experience with LA Tan was a good one. Later that afternoon, I paid a bit more money, but I received the same discount as I did on the first bottle and not only that she called me the next day to make sure I understood the reason why I had to pay more. WOW, I AM IMPRESSED! A lesson learned from both parties! Never assume nothing! Always forgive and do not ever hold a grudge to no one. God always works out things even when you think there is no way out. As long as you forgive and don't allow anger to turn into bitterness! Great job to the manager that handled this! Thank you very much. You are above a five star in my mind!

I just wanted to take a minute and say what an awesome staff this company has! Each one of the girls that works here is so friendly and inviting! They are why I will never go to another place to tan. Thank you ladies for being so awesome!

This was my first time using spray tan and the customer service was excellent!! She walked me thru step by step on what to do and was very helpful and so kind! Love this place!!!

My favorite place to tan! Fresh bulbs & clean! The level 3 stand ups are the best! Always hot and i get great color. ❤

I LIVE IN L. A. AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THERE IS NO TANNING SALON IN LOS ANGELES NICER THAN THIS PLACE... I LOOK FORWARD EVERY TIME I COME HOME TO TAN HERE... IT'S INEXPENSIVE AND THE STAFF ARE BEAUTIFUL AND FRIENDLY.... 5 STARTS ISN'T ENOGH... I GIVE IT 7 STARS!

La tan is amazing, Taylor is always amazing when I go in, always kind and helpful.

Used spray tan before going on vacation was great fast friendly service.
