They really teach the youth how to properly lift weights and to protect themselves with the goal of helping them to live healthier lifestyles physically, emotionally, and socially.

They make a big difference in the lives of the youth they work with!

Came here for lifting in the summer of 2021, cannot stress how good of a gym this place is, friendly owner plenty of weights and barbells. I trained around 5-6pm and the gym was always empty, there was plenty of room and a speaker to play your music. Training here led me to compete at USAPL Collegiate Nationals. Overall great private gym, would highly recommend for any lifter!

Awesome experience! Huge shoutout to Elliot! 🤙🏽 I’m in town for a week and was looking for a place to continue training for my upcoming meet; gym has plenty of barbells, plates, platforms and gives me good vibes all around! Coming back to this place, for sure! Would definitely recommend this place for people that want to start weightlifting or just looking for a place to train!

A great clean gym with all you need for weightlifting.

Excellent gym, they offer free weightlifting classes for kids under 18. It’s a nonprofit, part of Team USA weightlifting, so profits go to funding the kids classes and the gym. Beginner friendly. Highly recommend

Rockford Barbell was definitely and inviting place
for not only weightlifters, but anyone in the team of barbells. Elliot was an awesome personable guy and welcomed me and my fiancé with open arms. Let us come in and train on short notice. Definitely a nice barbell club, which I hope to see expanded in the future!

Used this gym as I was traveling. Great set up. Easy to find. The owner was super responsive when I reached out the day before I was going and the day of using the gym. I’d definitely come back.

Great gym for Olympic weightlifting and general strength training. The gym has plenty of squat racks, deadlift platforms and also has great barbells. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Rockford area.
