The most caring and thoughtful team imaginable. I recently moved to the area and used the Charleston office for boarding on multiple occasions for business travel and my beloved Miniature Pincher, Penelope who was pretty particular absolutely loved their team! As do I. I had to make a very difficult decision to put Penelope down earlier this month due to aging and multiple health issues and aggressive behavior due to pain. It was one of the most heartbreaking decisions I ever had to make. This was the only time I have ever needed to put one of my dogs to sleep as the others passed peacefully on their own. The entire team treated me with such grace and Penelope with such dignity. They were absolutely earth angels and did everything they could to make such a hard decision and process peaceful and loving and beautiful. They called to follow up and make sure I was okay and provided me by surprise with a beautiful paw print of my best friend of 11 years along with a beautiful card signed by the entire team and a heart with a poem that when planted grows beautiful flowers annually so I can always look at those flowers and think of Penelope. From the bottom of my heart thank you to the entire team! ❤. This veterinary hospital is the best place to board, seek medical attention for your animals, and if you ever need to make a challenging decision like I did. ❤🐾❤

I want to thank them for going above and beyond for me when I had t to put my baby to sleep. The special touches from the lock of hair to the cardboard casket to the card I got with th heart of wildflowers and a paper with his nose and paw print. It touched my family so much. Best vet clinic I have ever had.

I had the pleasure of going to this business for my pups neutering. This is normally a very intense process for any pet owner however my mom recommended this place and Morgan was the best helping out keeping me updated and loving my pet like her own. The drs informed her and she relayed the message with very informative documentation. I had no trouble with his after care.. they are awesome, and have a new customer!!!!!!

I've had animals all my life. I'm 60 now and still have dog's. But would like to say that this place is awesome. I can leave my dog without any worries at all. Dr. Snyder and her whole staff are the best. Keep up the great work guy's.

We love the staff and the care provided over 9 years for our Shih Tzu mix and calico kitty! Kanawha City Veterinary Hospital staff are very personable and go the distance to assist with all questions re the care of our babies. We have boarded our kitty during an instance when she needed frequent eye drops for a scratch on her cornea. I have also taken a few stray/feral kitties there to be given basic care and always feel I am being given the best advice for the animal and the local feral cat population. The Charleston location provides excellent grooming services as well. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Snider, Kayla, Mary Ellen, and the rest of the crew!

Absolutely the best veterinarian office in Charleston. The staff is so welcoming & take great care our our cats, just like they were their own. If you have pets in Charleston, they are the place to go to.

Personable, clean, Dr. Snider goes beyond to make sure you are aware of all avenues to keep your pet healthy and safe from disease.

Dr Snider diagnosed my kitty with a single lab test after spending over $400 for testing and incorrect treatment at another vet. Won’t go anywhere else.

If I shared everything that was bad about this place it would be a book. To shorten what I have to say, I took my sick cat in, they kept it overnight, it died during the night, they didn't call to tell me, I had to find out the next day when I finally called because I still had not heard from them by that afternoon.
A few months later, I take another cat in to have it fixed, I leave 3 numbers for them to contact me to make sure I don't miss their call. I dropped her off at 8:15am. After waiting to hear something all day, I finally called right before they closed, no answer. I leave a message expressing my concerns, and I never get a call. I had to just show up there the next morning to find out how everything went and to pick her up. They didn't even do everything I asked them to do. We told them she was having problems with her throat and we wanted her checked for worms also. They didn't check her throat or check her for parasites. Was told it was not written down on her admission paperwork. So, I do know the receptionist there is lazy, and could care less what your cat needs, as long as you pay your bill. Will not go back. Not real sure how good of a vet works there, but the help is terrible.

Called to get help with more medicine while traveling. Mary Ellen made it very clear on the phone that they could do nothing. Not the most pleasant experience.

Took our sick cat into today that we have had for 7 years. Our last cat lived to be 22 years old. Dr. Snyder treated us like we were not good pet owners. Vet tech named Kim was awesome.

Called for an emergency visit after my dog was bitten by a copperhead, they stated they they had no appointments available and didn't offer any help. We have been going here for years, but won't be returning again. We'll take our business to a place that actually cares about animals.
