We love Dr Allison Blanton, Dr Sarah Stephenson and Dr Melanie Curry! They have provided excellent care and have made us feel like our pets have top tier care! They have gone above and beyond for our boys. Their staff have been especially caring and compassionate. Big,big shout outs to techs Ginger and Elena who make us feel like they treat our Hank and Bandit like their own. Dr Blanton and Ginger have been especially amazing while navigating Hank’s cancer treatment, they call on their own personal time to check in and are always so helpful with every question we have. We are so grateful for this wonderful staff at Good Shepherd who make our pets feel at home whenever we come in!

I've been taking my pets to Good Shepherd for over a decade and I've recommended them to everyone I know. It's not convenient at all, but it's worth the drive to see vets that I can trust to care for my dogs as if they were their own — and not break the bank while doing so. Dr. Stephenson and Dr. Blanton have been wonderful with all of our pets needs!

Great experience. The vets and pet nurses seem to really care and love animals. Took a look over an bite injury my daughter's new little hamster had and reassured my daughter that her fur-baby Sir Leon will be okay. Will be back with our pet care needs.

Such nice people! We took four cats in and the dr. took her time and was very informative. The tech was also kind, and our cats were handled with such care. I know this is routine for this practice, as I have been there before, but it truly is a comfort for pets and owners alike, EVERY. TIME.

Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital has helped us since the day we brought our beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgis home from their respective breeders. I ask a lot of questions & they always help me & answer them thoroughly. I love this place & the people. They are our favorite small animal veterinary hospital for our dog & cat furbabies ❤💙💜.

Best vet in the valley. A bit pricey, but staff is always amazing and thry know their stuff here, and are great with the animals. You can tell they care. If I had more money this would be the only place I bring my animals.

This was probably the best bet I had ever visited the price was beyond reasonable staff was super polite and my dog loved the vet def would recommend this to anybody who loves their pets as much I do!!!!

Found hurt wild bunny and called. They told me to bring it in and take a look. When I got there, they answered all my dumb questions and told me what they could do, and call me afterward . They did a quick sew and a shot. They didn't charge a penny!!!!!! That's compassion and love even for natures wildlife! 🙏 prayers for healing and release.

Dr. Sarah and her staff are exceptional! We had an urgent need for a complicated spay, and Dr. Sarah got us in quickly, and the surgery was a success. The follow-up care was wonderful. The 12 hour round trip was worth every minute💜

I board my dog when we have to go out of town. He's well taken care of & gets a bath before I pick him up. Also can do nail trims and vaccinations when needed. Prices for boarding are fantastic!

The best Veterinary Hospital in Kanawha County. This place has my business for my pet for as long as I have my pet (Peewee). Or any other pets I may get in the future. Friendly atmosphere, and everyone is a true Professional with the service that they provide for you and your pet.

Great vets and great people! My rat had an ulcerated tumor that needed surgery, Dr. Sarah made sure to do it that day and treated my Rosie with love and respect. Rosie tore open her stitches the next day and Dr. Sarah came in on her day off to help. The vet tech texted me personally to check in on Rosie! These are wonderful vets who care about all animals no matter how small.
