Best to come out and have fun with friends and family. Everybody’s cool comic collected, and everything is taken care of in a timely manner and is polite about issues that go on on the field. Highly recommend this place.!!!

Alright folks. I live about 20 minutes from this field and it’s a great place to play. I go very frequently when I’m in town and always enjoy it.

The staff is very friendly and chill, but definitely good about chronoing every weapon and making sure everyone has good safety gear like eyepro and facepro.

Refs are proactive when it comes to issues and toxic behavior is not tolerated, even if it doesn’t explicitly break any rules. When issues are recurrent, the field owner himself will come out to the staging area to help handle it.

Contrary to what other reviews say, the refs will allow you to run CO2. However, they require you to chrono between games, because of the very real fact that CO2 expands massively under heat, which is a big factor with Texas weather and black pistol grips. CO2 pistols can very well shoot 600, 700, or 800 FPS, enough to break through many types of properly rated eyepro.

The field is massive, with open field areas and tighter buildings, as well as plenty of storage container warfare!

I’ll also mention that our field YouTuber is a great guy to play with, and instead of making any sort of drama-hog content, really helps promote our field and our community.

Cons:

They do sell some AEGs that might not be the greatest for beginners, in terms of performance and durability for the price (Valken, to be precise). This is definitely not an exclusive con, as where else can you pick up a metal and polymer Cyma M-14 for $130? (Yes people, 2022)

The “on-site tech” doesn’t really exist anymore. There are some regulars with some experience and the willingness to help out, but if they’re not around it’s no turkey.

Rentals aren’t great. I have my own gear, and some to share with friends, but if someone in our group has to get a rental, it usually doesn’t work well. The guys down at their shop are more than happy to hand you a working one while they fix the issue, but it definitely is annoying when twice a day you end up walking back down the hill to the shop to switch out your gun. (It might not be better anywhere else, but I’m calling this a minor con anyways)

In the winter, it can get crazy. The refs do their best, but with 40+ players on the field it’s impossible to monitor the no-hit calling. It starts with a few players, and then migrates as people get upset when their solid shots aren’t called, and return the favor.

This is something that I’m sure most if not all airsoft fields share; the scourge of the 12yo rentals. Not much to be done. More of a note than anything else. I once was talking with fellow regular after a game and commented that there had been a group of six or so rental kids on his team ignoring hits and going out of bounds. He answered that he’d had the same issue with some of the kids on my team, and I had to laugh about that.

Overall, great field and great community.

Come and play!

Hands down friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever met. The field itself is really good, the store selection is amazing, and the museum is a wonder. 12/10 would recommend to all players, beginning and established.

I took my kids to this place for my oldest sons birthday and didnt know what to expect. We signed waivers and got our rentals from a very friendly girl and was explained the rules. We then went to the fields and was instructed on the rules of the game. The people there were very friendl and helped us out since i was our first tne. We had a blast! Very safe and supportive and so much to do to make you feel like you are in a firefight. We will definitely go again as soon as we can!

Went to Temple Airsoft a few months ago with my son. I was a little sceptical from watching YouTube, so I thought I knew what I was getting into (was not expecting much). From the moment we arrived staff was very friendly. Gave us full instructions how to use the weapons and safety gear. On our way to the field. Ref kept and eye on us newbies and my son. This really made me feel he was "safe". What really made us come back was the people who played there everybody was friendly. They even shared knowledge and some even let him handle the airsoft guns they were using. Sorry for the long review. After a month I decided to purchase a gun since I wanted it to be a surprise for my son. I wanted to buy it during the week, which they are close. I called the owner and he happily opened during the week for me. I informed him I was willing to spend around $300 which the owner told me, was way too much money (for a beginner)this gave me peace of mind that he was not there to take my money, but to ensure I got something I was happy with which in the end I was and so was my son. Thank you Temple Airsoft.

My first and only airsoft go to field and I live in Killeen.
Pros:
-excellent customer service (berserker is the best)
-wide selection of gear, parts, and airsoft guns
-manager is a hilarious fart
-field is the best locally to me
-players range from little casual kid players to meal team 6 professionals.
-field dogs are cute

Cons:
-Too much awkward Hoo-ah Hoo-ah soldiers. (Never go full hoo-ah)
-Spawn points should be marked (times where we would spawn further away from obj than enemy team)
-Domination flag points should be marked with something very tall and long for 1st time players.

If you are a seasoned Airsoft player or a complete rookie this is a great place to enjoy a great day of slinging bbs with friends and make new friends while you are at it. Dave (the owner) has invested a ton of time and money in this place. He has a huge selection of gear, airsoft replicas, and other miscellaneous military surplus.

I absolutely love this place.

Great community and a great atmosphere.

Great field, very safe. To go, you will need 20 dollars, the signature of someone over the age of 18 (Yourself or your parents), and full face protection. Bring your own gun, or rent one for 10 dollars.
It's great, open almost every Saturday.

I've been in the airsoft industry for years. I've worked for GT, Lion Claws, as well as a very large retail store in California. Temple field is what playing use to be like. Play for fun. Play all day and just enjoy it. Owner has lots of toys that makes things different each time you go there. By the player, for the player.

Been going here since 2012 regularly and it's my favorite field at the moment. Definitely a great use of $20 if you want something fun to do on a weekend (or even weekday at times).

Play here regularly great staff great field and soon to be indoor cqb field as well as outdoor. Gear for ages and at any point and time 50+ guns that are better than good for sale. Be it modern, Vietnam, ww2, American, Russian, or German he probably has it or can get it for you at a fair price. And now has a full time tech to fix any issues that may arise. Do bday parties, corporate events, BOSS outings, or military/law enforcement training and have a blast doing it. All in all a great place for an awesome hobby and sport.
