Green's Sausage House

The best place to get the goods you need concerning sausage or bacon and cam get steak. Chicken, ground beef, ground turkey and such.
The meat kolaches are good as are the fruit ones.
We did attempt to get the sundried tomato bread but the bag was really really greasy today. I am sure it was am accident.
The cookies were left in oven top long but still good. I love coming here!

Cottage cheese kolaches are fantastic as well as all the other flavors. And the sausage rolls....get double what you think you want because, yes, you'll want more!

Show up early. often times there is a line wrapped around the store as people come from miles away to bless their taste buds with their down home flavors!!!!!

So. I've had Southside, Meyers, kilbosa, and alot of other sausage... theirs is by far the best in my opinion. My absolute favorite is the cheese sausage.

The ribeye steaks i promise you are so thick, rich, and beautifully marbled.... mouth-watering!!! Theu offer several cuts of beef, pork chops, pork belly, ground beef, and several other things!!

Not to mention all the jams, preserves, pickles, jalapeños, okra, fresh baked bread.... the list goes on. You absolutely must experience this place for yourself.

There is a reason ppl come from hours away to try this place!!!! It's worth it!!

This is a great place to eat and pick up some fresh meat from their meat counter to take home. Super staff even when busy.

Some of the best prices I've seen in a long time. They're not trying to stick it to the customers like almost all other restaurants and fast food places are today.
Like I say. If you want to find that out of the way, avoid the big city traffic and most of all the big city stupid people these days try this place. I think you'll be hooked.

I was luckily enough to try their kolaches at my work while I was here for training. I'm from Washington state so I hadn't heard of these prior. They ordered a variety box of sweet and savory ones. I got to try a ham and cheese and a strawberry and a cream cheese one as well. The ham and cheese was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The ham has a deep smokey flavor and the cheese compliments it so well. The bun is also so soft and buttery. I'm luckily as well, as they were still warm when they arrived to work. Absolutely delicious. The sweet ones are amazing as well. You can tell they make everything homemade. That's hard to find these days. Thank you for sharing these delicious treats with me!

Great stop on the Texas Bucket List. Get the sausage burger with kraut, that's their specialty!

Had time to sneak over to zabcikville this trip to hell I mean Austin.
Bar none excellent. Some items you simply can't find in West. Pix added for your perusal. Absolutely worth the 45m outta your way via loop 363 and TX 53 for this place.
Do not miss the "hamburger" patties in their frozen section!!! I debate using cheese & grilling vs pan frying.
These are their sausage burger patties, and they are different & excellent. All here is so good.

Friendly staff. Great food at affordable prices. Today we enjoyed their lunch specials. I had the steak finger basket and my wife had the smoked sausage plate. In my opinion DQ has nothing on this steak finger basket. It was great.

Delicious!! Lots of great kolaches and donuts and assorted breakfast goodies. I’ve never used their deli part myself, but I can imagine they’re of similar quality and seem to have a good selection. The shop part with all the canned goods and whatnots always suck me in too

We had a great breakfast at Green's. The food was great and served quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient. Prices were great too. There is a butcher shop and grocery attached to the restaurant where they sell lots of varieties of Green's branded sausage, other meats, and a wide variety of condiments. We will return every time we visit the area.

Always great. But oddly they almost seem hush-hush about their prices! Like where are they posted?! I found them after SEARCHING online for a minute. I didn't want to ask them, they were so busy. Plus my FIL knew what he was getting 😋

Best sausage in the world. I've been hooked on their Breakfast Smokies since I was introduced to them in the early 1980's. Great pork sausage, not greasy like the other famous sausage in the area.

The food is delicious. The prices are great and the customer service is kind. So far, the sausage burger, the sausage breakfast, the pastry with the blueberry and cream are a win win! I brought sausage links and breakfast sausage home to cook and it is the best! The drive is beautiful as well.

Great place with a country atmosphere. The cookies, sausage sticks, and green sausage were very nice. Next time, I'm getting some fresh beef. Such a nice selection of jelly and jams. I definitely will try some others next time I'm there.

I haven't had kolaches this good in years! The ham and cheese, and cherry are amazing! Bought a side of bacon for my dog, after trying it myself I went back in and bought 4 more pounds. Amazing store! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Green’s is the best! I have gone to Green’s my entire life. They have hands down the best Kolaches ever. I have had them all over but Green’s are the best! They have great cookies, homemade canned goods and all kinds of great meat and sausage. The people are nice. They only bad thing I can come up with is that they are closed on Sunday. They also have a cafe side with great burgers.

Amazing down home cookin’ at very fair prices! Green’s is the epitome of what a good old fashioned country restaurant should be. The food was excellent and the service was efficient and friendly. My chicken fried steak was great. You have to go next door and try some homemade kolaches! I’d recommend the cream cheese or peach ones.

We went in the ‘store’ part - not the restaurant side. Great kolaches!! There was a long line, but the workers were quick and efficient so the wait was minimal! Definitely recommend!!

This place is simply wonderful. Lots of great stuff , especially the meat market and the restaurant is just as good. Stop by, you will be glad you did.

Almost every time I go to Temple on my way back home I stop at Green's. I normally get a burger"always delicious" a cold Shiner Bock on draft and boudan balls"fantastic tasting" GO GET YOU SOME.🇺🇸
