I visited early in the morning and it was very peaceful. The grounds are well-maintained, and they utilized the space very effectively. I can see how this is very informative and educational, especially for the children. It's a great place to step back in time for a few minutes, or just to go and relax.

This park is amazing! I will just take artists in the community here to get inspired! I've not been to the events they host but it's kind of hidden away and seems very unique! It's always kept in good shape too, so I don't know who does the upkeep, but great work! Thank you!

This was our first time going to the Living History Park and it was incredible to say the least. The park is definitely a hidden gem in the area, hidden by trees and shrubs you all most miss it if you are not looking for it. I have been to other parks such as this one in Virginia and it's a must see. All the participants are great and you can tell they love what they do. Our favorites were the blacksmith and the mill. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This park is beautiful, and always a great photo opp 😍 weddings are often booked here, and other events. I love that I can bring my son here to explore nature, no other distractions just the stream, flowers and each other.

This is such an amazing property!! Beautiful for weddings, Events, baby showers, corporate events, etc. The property is filled with beautiful spaces, diverse history, and unique stories. The property manager and curator, Lynn, is an absolute delight. She is knowledgeable and passionate. You must tour this exquisite piece of North Augusta history! Every brick, every building, every plant, has a colorful and unique story behind it.

This was a great stop!! Wasnt clear on where to park when we were coming out some local folks told us that was up around road parking but what a gem of a place if you like old settings there is a natural spring that runs through the middle one other family was there when we were was really neat.

Beautiful place, we can't wait to go back during their next event. Also an excellent place to bring children to stretch out and enjoy nature, and there's even a play park right nextdoor.

You pay donation fee to go to park mainlanders fees. Street parking. There is also a decent size playground outside the park.

The Christmas in the BackCountry & Christmas for the Birds combined event was so neat! We were brought back in time to days long ago and learned about life in the colonial days. The demonstrations and hosts were informative and interesting. We had a lovely time and got AMAZING pictures too! We plan to visit again soon for the next event.

I can honestly say we learned a lot about history. The kids were mostly entertained and and after each station they told me at least 1 thing they learned.

This is a very beautiful park in the middle of North Augusta, SC. It is deceiving, much larger than it first appears. Dogs are also welcome on leashes. A very pretty place for a walk.

I never knew this existed in this quite, quaint community. My husband and i spent a couple of hours exploring the beautiful kept grounds of this showcase of buildings of how things used to be.

Good place to learn the colonial time history - for all ages. The cabins with live demos are big highlights. The knowledgeable volunteers/reenactors take you back to the history.

I truly enjoyed my experience at the Living History Park today. This was the first time being there. I appreciated that many people were in attendance. I actually learned something new about the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
The mayor read the Declaration of Independence and there was singing the National Anthem.

If you like history, I highly recommend it. Today attendee's were treated with free hot dogs, watermelon and water.

I plan on going back the third week of October when they will have all the village open.
