This was an awesome place to tour. Very informative tour and tour guide. I highly recommend it if you are in town and have time. Only 10 bucks for adults. And lots of historical information. Don't recommend little ones unless they are highly supervised. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Top notch presentation. After driving down from the other Wilson home in Columbia, South Carolina, where the guide seemed either distracted or ignorant of the pieces throughout the museum (mostly reading from the signs), it was nice to see a strong, insightful guide who knew almost every inch of the Augusta house, someone who was prepared, friendly, and eloquent. Honestly, if Wilson were alive to see how his childhood home in Augusta was being curated, I think he’d be proud.

I visited the historic home for the Tea with Mrs. Wilson Experience. The special guided tour through the house was excellent. Our guide portraing Mrs. Wilson was very knowledgeable. We were then treated to tea and pie with the ladies at Mrs. Lamar's home next door. It was lovely event and I would definitely recommend it.

This visit turned out to be MUCH better than we expected.

We needed a day trip from Greenville,SC. We wanted to fly our little plane somewhere within a 1 hour flight time.
We decided to fly to Augusta to visit Wilson's childhood home.
The general aviation airport, KDNL was great and close to downtown.

The FBO has courtesy cars but we wanted to be away longer than they permit. We took Uber ($11.00)
to the Woodrow Wilson childhood home.
SO NICE. Great introductory video.! Even better personal guide. The home was in beautiful condition.
We both thought we knew Wilson's background pretty well but the visit brought really interesting facts to our attention.
We want to go back to Augusta and spend the night . There were some interesting hotels and bars.
Highly recommend.. especially for pilots and their families.

Thank you Stephanie. ( Guide at the museum and home)

What a wonderful experience! We learned so much about Woodrow Wilson as we toured this beautiful home. Stephanie, our tour guide, was so informative and so articulate as she guided us. Evert adult visiting Augusta should visit this wonderful home. More amazing, the guided tour only costs $5.00 ($4.00 for seniors). We loved it!

Took the tour and learned quite a bit about Tommy (Woodrow) Wilson's family and early years in Augusta, GA. Thomas Woodrow Wilson started being called Woodrow when he entered law school at the University of Virginia.

Visited today with some friends, including kids ages 11-14. It was like being transported back in time.
Wonderful tour, and the kids (who had been reluctant to go) enjoyed it and said they were glad they went. Thankful to our guide for the great tour and the opportunity to learn some fascinating history!

Must see the 28th President's childhood home where he lived from the age of 3 to teenagers in Augusta, Ga.

This was a treat. The docent (I think her name was Sally, but can't remember for sure) was really engaging and knowledgeable, and the stories were captivating, such as how Wilson's leadership was formed by the baseball team he ran and by experiences of war, especially seeing war wounded right outside his home. Very interesting. We had extra time on our hands and I'm so glad we took this tour.

We really enjoyed our tour. It is very inexpensive and it takes roughly an hour to see everything. They offer a guided tour of the house. $5 per adult, $3 for students/school aged children, and children under 5 are free. It was completely worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I learned a lot about Woodrow Wilson, his family, and the time period in which they lived. Overall a great experience for our family.

WOW!!! I used to live there in 1978-1981!!! the front window was my bedroom and the address was then 415 7th street!! I used to have a landlord called Jim Coombs and old Henry Dobbins who lived downstairs, they first they didnt orig. rent to women but when I got out of the Army Jim's tenants both skipped the rent, and it was due the next day. The owner then was a local Judge. So he needed the money. Augusta was pretty raw then, but it was nice there, we used to have a nice flowery tree as I sat on the rocking chair with my 12 ounce Pepsi for 25 cents!!! I miss Augusta, I had to leave when my father died in 81 many mistakes made leaving , but I also heard several years ago that the savanna river plant gave out the nuclear waste when reagon got in total deregulation and i was told by a guy who lived there that the entire city got cancer. However I really miss that old homestead. Miss U!!!

Toured the Woodrow Wilson House and while I thought I would just see a few fun facts about him I also learned about Augusta and how life would have been if we would lived in that era. Very educational your. Walking into this museum is like taking a leap back into time, which I loved. Highly recommended.

Tours on the hour. The docents are passionate and knowledgeable. Very well-restored house, and because it's his boyhood home, the tour focuses entirely on his childhood and family, not on his presidency. It's not only a great museum but a wonderful place to learn about the history of Augusta.

It is smaller scale than other presidential homesites we have visited. But I learned things about Woodrow Wilson and history that I did not previously know. If you are a history buff you will enjoy it. Our tour leader was excellent. Video beforehand was well done. It took about an hour. Was very relaxed, not uptight that you might touch something.

Such a fun field trip spot for our family. We learned so much about the history, not just of Woodrow Wilson, but also about Augusta. The tour guides were great as well.
