Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and Paulette is a beautiful and kind soul!
My ribeye steak was a little tough and my husband’s potatoes were a little overcooked but the filet he had was delicious as were the carrots.
They welcomed us for our anniversary and even gave us a special desert, upon finding out I couldn’t have wheat they prepared me another desert with ice cream and berries.
If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic atmosphere with great service, try Bistro 55!

The service was wonderful! We had the escargot, risotto, and filet. The food was all cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The bartender was amazing, we had a long Island and espresso martini. I can honestly say it's probably the best espresso martini I have ever had! We will definitely be back.

All I can say is WOW!!! The atmosphere was so charming! The staff were so welcoming, especially our server Emily! She was phenomenal! They initially serve you with fresh bread with butter and chicken liver pâté (DELISH), we began with the charcuterie board, our main course was the duck and the shrimp/scallop risotto (both were so good we shared with each other), and we ended with crème brûlée and their chocolate soufflé. And HOLY SMOKES! That soufflé was TO DIE FOR!

We ordered the lamb entree & the filet - both were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly & it was truly a lovely evening. It was nice to follow the dinner up with a limoncello & espresso! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a beautiful and delicious holiday Sunday brunch. Restaurant was light, festive, tastefully decorated. Bottomless mimosas delicious and a good price $11. I had a simple but excellent french omelette of gruyère with pungent fresh thyme. My friend loved her french toast with apricot preserves. We both liked that the serving sizes were lunch-appropriate, not an "avalanche of food" that would make us uncomfortable the rest of the day. Everyone from hostess to waitress to busboy was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Street parking very easy. The neighborhood is so pretty for an after lunch stroll too. Look forward to returning for dinner.

Even if you’ve never been to France, you will immediately feel that you’ve stumbled into an intimate café offering deliciously authentic French dishes served by a friendly and helpful staff who strive to make you feel like family. With the many fine restaurants in the area, we came from Aiken to celebrate my birthday at Bistro 55 on February 1st, heading back there on Valentine’s Day for another fabulous evening. A special shout out to Paulette and all the staff for making my birthday dinner extra special with a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday to go along with the perfect slice of cheesecake. Two incredible gastronomic and romantic experiences in less than 2 weeks! We'll certainly be back.

From California and my 1st time in South Carolina and at this restaurant! The service and food have been phenomenal! The team here are very attentive and Paulet, one of the owners here has been amazing and very welcoming checking up to see how everything has been! If you are visiting South Carolina or a local I highly suggest you take a swing over for some amazing food and service!

This place is amazing. Such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Now let’s talk the food. My husband is a serious duck entree snob. Let me say….: he was amazed with the duck. He devoured it. I ordered the flounder. It was juicy, not fishy tasting , and very succulent. We were extremely happy and very satisfied with our dinner. The owners were present and very accessible and personal and made every effort to connect with all the customers. We look forward to our next visit!!! Please try this restaurant!!! You will be happy you did!!!

Wow! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! This place is amazing with the most wonderful food, staff, presentation, and experience! We are out of town visitors and our local friends bought us here! Their drinks are fabulous and food is top notch! I’ve never had such a great brunch! And their homemade bread and chocolate cake is to die for! EAT HERE! TOTALLY WORTH IT! And the cute little community it’s in is adorable!

Everything about my visit was amazing! The owners were so down to earth, the food was perfection & the service was incredible!

We stopped for brunch with our 2 dogs, after today’s Aiken Dog Walk. The owners greeted us warmly and welcomed us. Our service was excellent, and our Bistro Brie Burgers were perfect, as were the authentic French Fries. Dining at our outdoor table with our doggies on a beautiful day made for a lovely finish to our day in Hammond Ferry.

Celebrated my birthday here and they took such great care of us. The food and service was amazing and they even decorated the table. Highly recommend the pommes au gratin and the cheesecake!

The atmosphere and food were wonderful! Service was also very great, our waiter was such a pleasure. The chicken and duck were delectable. I can’t wait to come back again!

Michael, my server, an awesome and talented waiter from another restaurant I've frequented, was not hesitant to give his recommendations and present us with the most flavorful option. His bottled wine recommendation was not the most expensive on the menu, which was both amazing and good for the pocket. If presented with the option of two dishes, he would quickly declare a winner, and it would also not be the most expensive option. For the kids menu choices, he also identified fan favorites. He is very genuine, transparent and trustworthy with his selection choices!! I do not know if my experience would be quite as good without Michael as my server. I can only hope the other waiters and waitresses provide the same level of service and knowledge as he does!!

For appetizers, we selected calamari, one of the children ordered a chicken Ceasars salad, and also a charcuterie board.....delicious!!

For entrees, though both adults were considering the ribeye, we opted for the special (salmon Risotto) and upon recommendation from Michael, the lasagna. Both were impeccable. We were too full to order dessert. The children had the chicken bites and fries, which were delicious and plentiful.

All in all, an amazing experience! Will have to try the brunch next. Give Michael a raise!! He's the best!!

We went here for date night tonight. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had a reservation, but there was plenty of seating to choose from. We were seated promptly. Our server, Andrew, was extremely professional and made sure we were taken care of. The wine and alcohol prices were low compared to other restaurants in the area of this caliber. I had a Chianti Classico for only $6. My husband's Old Fashion was also a winner in his book. Then we both had a chicken Caesar salad. It was absolutely wonderful. The croutons were perfect and tons of flavor. You also get a basket of complimentary bread that was the perfect amount of soft and flavorful. For our entrees, I had the sausage and parmesan risotto and my husband had their shrimp pasta. Both dishes were magnificent! We already have plans to come back on Sunday for their brunch and bottomless mimosas! DiVino definitely earned these 5 stars tonight.

Food was spectacular. Service was supreme. You will enjoy this place. Everything served was delicious to the last bite. Portions are reasonable and so is the price. I am thoroughly impressed with the place and atmosphere. Saved as a favorite.

Exactly what north augusta needs! Emily is a wonderful server and very attentive. Food was incredible, the duck and lamb are perfection. I cannot recommend Bistro55 enough!

This review is LONG overdue! My best friend was getting proposed to on and her fiancé and I were looking for the perfect restaurant when we came across Divino’s. This restaurant was perfect! From reviews to photos posted by previous guest, we knew this was exactly what we were looking for. I called over to the Restaurant and Spoke with Tim, who helped me organize everything on the restaurants end of the proposal. Tim was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! He was sooo accommodating and even helped us get everyone into the restaurant in without her noticing. The food was so good and the restaurant setting and staff are a dream. There are two different sections to the restaurant so you can be seated according to your mood for the day. Thank you so much Tim and Divino staff! Thank you for making it a night to remember.

Great place! Great food! Great service! We would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a special night out with their spouse. The decor sets the mood perfectly! We will return soon!

Wonderful service and a brilliant menu. We showed up a few minutes early for our reservation and they say it's and had drinks before or original reservation time. Staff was great, food was awesome. Will definitely recommend and return.
