La Jalisciense Taqueria

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at in a long time. Possibly the best ever. and tastes delicious. The tortillas, salsa and chips are homemade and you can clearly taste the difference.

Amazing authentic tacos. The pastor and lenguq tacos i had were some of the best cooked and prepared ive tasted. Especially the lengua. Simple traditional tacos. Of course they have plenty of other things on the menu. Soups, plates, sopas etc. The staff is lively and friendly. Also make a lot of drinks in house like horchata. Great great place. So glad i stopped here!

If I could give them a 10 star review I would. This is THE BEST FOOD in the CSRA. No “Mexican” restaurant in the area compares to the real authentic food that is served here.
The gorditas were OUTSTANDING. I recommend the chorizo in them.
The tacos are made with house made tortillas and they were beautiful.
I had been wanting to heat here for quite some time and I have to say, I will be coming there many times.
This is my new favorite restaurant.

Best Mexican Food in Augusta and North Augusta!!!

I know because I’m from California, so trust me.

The place is a bit rundown, but don’t judge a book by its cover.

Tacos here are delicious, handmade tortillas😱 can't get any better than this.
Micheladas are good as well, the waitress was beyond nice(girl with afro hair) will be coming back next time I am in Augusta,Ga 😎

This should have 10 STARS!! 😁 My husband took me there on our 31st Anniversary.. We aren't Mexican, but they welcomed us with open arms! Their food is AMAZING! WILL go again..

Solid, solid Mexican food. As a native San Diegan, I’ve been dying for some quality, authentic Mexican food. This place definitely delivered, and was pretty darn close to what I grew up with in California. The taco was insanely delicious and, dare I say, one of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade tortilla, perfectly marinated al pastor, fresh onions and cilantro…pure perfection.

If you’re in the CSRA and in need of a good Mexican fix, do yourself a favor and come here!

Very Authentic Mexican Food. If you want a real Hand made Tortillas and for an exceptional price. You must try this place. It might not look very appealing on the outside or inside but the food was Delicious. I live in Evans and will drive all the way from there to This Taqueria for tacos again. My Partner and I from the Geek Squad want to thank our Server. She was great and we will definitely be back. We look forward to eating with you again.

Come here around noon on a week day and the lunch rush will speak for itself. If you are looking for authenticity, look no more. La Jalisciense exceeded my expectations and it goes without saying that it will be my only taco spot from here on.

Authentic food! So good when I'm craving Mexican food!

Ok this place looks like it's under renovation, and I hope the expanded service brings the attention this joint deserves! Delicioso! Fresco! Muy bien! Okay...that's about as much Español I know. You may need to know a few phrases to have a complete experience here but it is well worth the effort (mas, tostadas, frijoles, cerveza, agua, por favor, gracias, banyo). Staff is friendly but most don't speak English well.
Atmosphere is kitschy...not sure the Mexican word for this but it's authentic. Clean place but table legs rock a bit. Most customers are Hispanic so that tells me the food is excellent...and reasonably priced with healthy portions... Highly recommend fajitas, burritos, chile relleno here. Atomic Road, next to BBQ Barn in North Augusta.

The food is incredible -- & authentic. If you're looking for cocktails there aren't any here. The establishment only serves beer -- but, beer is a great accompaniment to the fare served here. I'll definitely pay future visits to explore more of their tasty dishes.
