Highlander A British Pub

Authentic British pub with great staff and an open mic night with great local musicians and a selection of house instruments available to play. Great local hangout that was definitely lucky to stumble upon!

Met up with friends that I haven't seen in over 30 years. Had fun, told stories, and laughed. This place is a landmark in North Augusta. Good friends with the original owners.

The Highlander has its own special place in the hearts of those from North Augusta. Many remember the 3 am line of cars coming from GA at last call when SC could serve til 5, but the Highlander is still going strong. They have upped their Shepherds Pie game and have live music every Friday night. It’s a dive but that makes it great. Beers are super cheap and a game of pool is still 50 cent.

Great little hole in the wall!

First time ever going to the Highlander and I loved it! The atmosphere is very inviting, the low ceiling, neon lights, large fireplace, etc makes for a welcoming environment. The bartender was extremely kind and made us feel welcome. The brews were well poured and $5 a pop. A refreshing price for some of the previous breweries we have been to in the downtown Augusta area. I would love to go back, and would recommend the Highlander for a relaxing time with some good brews.

I was in Augusta for business and stop by The Highlander and so glad I did. The people where very welcoming and accommodating. Had the Sheppards Pie and it was perfect. Thank you for let me spend the afternoon with yall.

As our bartender said "Do you think this is a fancy place?" Its not, but it is a fun atmosphere with great trivia on Thursdays!

Stop in when we are in Augusta every year when on vacation. We love this place.

My friend and I walked in and made instant friends with folks at the bar. The bartender was great. I wish I didn't live so far or I would be there all the time. Well, maybe that's a good thing.

Karaoke night is one of the best times to come up here, beers aren't expensive and they are so welcoming of the LGBTQ+ community I loved it in here

Karaoke Thursdays are fun great shows on Friday nights! Trivia, dart league, "the Snug," pool table....

and let's not forget the BEST SHEPHERD'S PIE in the CSRA!

My little bar tender and her wife are one of the reasons I love this vinue. They now have Tillman Green and Dianena. Wonderful host and K.J.s good personalities.there is all ways a very friendly crowd there. It is a fun place. As with most karaoke jokes trying to sing more than the guess Tillman is into pleasing his customers and by the way he can sing he chose to make us happy!!!

Great times with old friends!

We tried three of the four main food menu items. They each were great! And very reasonably priced for the amount of food. Hot and tasty. Atmosphere is fun and a bit dark. I've never been to Britian but I've been told this is very similar to a pub there. My husband, aunt, and uncle loved it. We will be back for a Guinness and the food.

Nice spot for an after work drink. The "pub grub" is made from scratch
on premise and is excellent. It gets busy later in the evening with something different every night ----- live music, trivia, open mike, game night, darts, video golf, pool table, foosball, etc.. Draft beer selection changes frequently so it never gets boring.
Well worth a visit. It might be the only bar in North Augusta....But it's the only one they need.

Every time I go here I have a blast and end up drinking way too much as a result. The pool table can be finicky, that's about the only complaint from me. Great staff, fun atmosphere, dope place all around.

Fun people place with lots and lots of character! There's board games, kareoke, and I think they have trivia night but I've never been. Their Shepherd's Pie is worth the drive all by itself. Plus no smoking in the bar!

Perfect place for locals and tourists. There is something going on almost every night. The beer is always cold and the bartenders are friendly!

Just spent a couple hours here quietly sipping my drink and taking in the atmosphere and I liked it. Bartender (Brit if I heard right) was great. Crowd was friendly and had interesting things to say. I'll be back again.
