It's always a great time at Vance's. Good dessert and even better cocktails. This is weird, but it's good, I had the old-fashioned special, not pictured. It was an old fashioned with two snickerdoodle cookies infused with old-fashioned alcohol. Well, I dipped my cookies in my drink for a more profound bite.

Always a good time! Great drinks & desserts. It can get a little noisy but you can still carry on a good conversation.The service was prompt & the server knowledgeable and friendly. Great spot for an after event wind-down or catch up with friends

Had no idea we had something like this in Augusta.

The best banana pudding on the face of the earth. Paired perfectly with a chocolate martini.
Took several family members everyone was blown away. Service from door to seat was 10/10

Was in town for a conference and decided to try this place after dinner. I definitely would recommend this place for an after dinner dessert/drink. I didn't get our servers name but it said Christopher on our receipt, but he was fantastic.

For drinks we got the mullins sangria and apple martini marg, both were really good. Both me and my gf preferred the sangria over the marg but that can just be a preference.

For deserts we wanted to try them all but settled on the mixed berry cobbler which was a special and the mason jar cheesecake. Both were really good. They were so good we decided to get the cinny swirl coffee cake and snickerdoodle sammie to go. Let me tell you that was the best coffee cake I've had in my life hands down. The snickerdoodle was good also. You probably cant go wrong with trying anything at this establishment at all.

Night out with the family, stopped in for late night dessert. Everything was great! The environment was nice & mellow, it was late night, the customer service was really good. The owner even stopped by our table and chatted for a few.

Although it's not dessert that's made to get your drunk, you can definitely taste the alcohol 😋.

Our visit to Vance's Bakery Bar on August 15th was an absolute masterpiece of an evening. This charming spot, blending desserts and a bar, left an indelible mark on our taste buds and hearts.

From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that Vance's is no ordinary establishment — the evening that we had surpassed all expectations. Our double-date night was made unforgettable by the service, inventive cocktails, and creative desserts.

The 'Member's Only Martini' with its vanilla vodka, Coole Swan White Chocolate Irish Cream, and Crooked Cow Caramel Cream was a sensational start. The harmonious blend of flavors was so captivating that my wife couldn't resist ordering one herself. I indulged in the Harlem Highball, a masterpiece concoction of Farmers Gin, Limoncello, St. Germaine, Elderflower Liqueur, Allspice simple syrup, and tonic. This drink was very well balanced and elegantly garnished with rosemary, evoking a delightful aroma.

As for the desserts, the Allgood Angel Food Cake, Sum Strawberry Cobbler, Boozy Banana Pudding, 2nd City Cookie, and Payton's Pecan Cobbler were very special — each bite was an explosion of freshness and flavor.

A special nod to Elliott, the bartender, who made our fun night even more memorable. He crafted a flawless Ramos Gin Fizz, showcasing the level of talent that he has. Not only did he deliver on known classics, but he also crafted a nostalgic drink for my friend with the "Commodore" — a seasonal drink that is no longer on the menu.

Beyond the culinary side of things, Vance's has such a welcoming vibe. The seating area has a nice ambiance with warm lighting. But what truly sets this place apart is its exceptional staff — every person that interacted with us treated us like family. A heartfelt thank you to Elliott and the other staff member, whose name I can't remember but it was her birthday! Both of them left an impression with their kindness and made our night truly special.

Our evening was an embodiment of what a perfect dessert experience should be. The desserts were beyond delicious, but it's the staff who transformed an ordinary night into an extraordinary one. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, regretting only that I didn't discover Vance's sooner.

The hubby and I stopped in for an after dinner desert! We were greeted upon entry. The vibe is amazing. There are different types of seating. The decor is 70’s. Even the bartenders were in theme. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious alcohol infused deserts. The craft cocktails are amazing. The menu also provides pairings of deserts and craft cocktails. We will definitely be back!! Oh an our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and was a joy!!

The seasonal menu of delicious boozy desserts and accompanying cocktail treats are delightful. We had drinks and dessert before dinner and would do it again coming here. The atmosphere is clean & stylish, with a well crafted bar area, and the staff are friendly & knowledgeable. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing service, amazing baked goods, amazing cocktails, and absolutely fun events! You can't go wrong with this fabulous downtown location, close to all kinds of events, concerts, and shows! Troy and Amy are attentive and friendly owners. This is a must visit!!!

Some friends introduced us to Vance’s. We had no idea something like this was around town. It was very unique and delicious. Atmosphere was very cool and service was great. Highly recommend.

This place did not dissapoint one bit! We sat at the bar where the drinks are hand made and looked very fancy. The desserts tasted luxuriously!!! The best desserts I've had in a long time! I spoke to the owner and he told me the story of Vance's and it's a beautiful one. The owner is also a veteran and i loved that he loves his country. His wife is the chef and bakes along 3 other bakers. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and perfect for an evening out. They do check your ID before coming in, so be ready for that. They will be having several events there (like musical bingo and D&D night) and I'll be sure to come back. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with this place, but I did. Also the men who worked there were dressed like real gentleman (tie and vest) and it added an extra amount of coolness to the atmosphere. They do have food too which looked delicious. I can't wait to go back!

They do check ID at the door. Desserts are infused but we didn't really taste alcohol. They're not super sweet either. The drinks are not for the faint of heart. Strong and delicious. The place is beautiful but on the loud side because the room echos. Our water was kept topped off. Excellent, friendly, attentive prompt service.

Such a great place especially for a date night. Some nights can be much busier than others do just be prepared to wait but it’s worth it. The baked goods and ice cream are really good. And the alcohol is even better! Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area. Be sure to check social media or their website ahead of time to see what baked goodies they have for the week!

Boozy sweets & custom cocktails, including pairing suggestions!! Menu is also updated regularly with new treats & drinks that incorporate locally sourced products. It is a bar, so bring your ID and leave the kids at home.

We loved Vance’s!! The customer service is unmatched, the staff are all very friendly and attentive. Both times we have been here a manager has been out as well to inquire about our service. The food is wonderful, the cheeseboard is a must get and the creme pies are my favorite. The drinks we have sampled are nice - the apple pie moonshine is a favorite - but the real star in my opinion is the desserts. It’s a nice environment, very clean, just a bit noisy on the weekends. Being open until midnight on the weekdays is a huge plus from me as well.

We love this place, the desserts and the drinks are always a treat. Give them a try. You definitely will not be disappointed.

Vance's Bakery bar has officially converted me into a sweets and booze fanatic!! This may now be one of of my favorite spots downtown and I am not even a dessert person. Not only did I love the vibe of Vance's bakery but the dessert and cocktails were amazing. Since I l don't generally have a sweet tooth, it takes a lot for me to say I really enjoy desserts and let me tell you these were delicious! I really enjoyed the 2nd City chocolate chip cookie and the berry fission cocktail the most! The staff was excellent and the owner was very sweet and personable. We also shared a Charcuterie and cheese board which were also good but their highlights are definitely the desserts and the ambiance. I Will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this bar. The desserts were soooo good! Staff was super nice! Happened to go on a night they played musical bingo! Overall would highly recommend!

I love Vance’s! Ever since I discovered it, I recommend everyone to go! Great atmosphere and excellent customer service. My favorite bartender is Jackie! The drinks and desserts are delicious and the presentation is done well. Not to mention that the bar itself is beautiful. It’s so peaceful. Highly recommend.

This place is the absolute best. I had the Cobb Bundt Cake, and my boyfriend had the Ric Rac Bread Pudding. We both had the Eisenhower cocktail. The food was on point, and the service was phenomenal. The place was HOPPIN, and we still had great, friendly, and fast service. It was my first time, but won't be my last.
