Great dog park! Very large area with plenty of room for dogs to run. Dog water stations, agility platforms, and many benches and tables for humans. There are also two separate areas for small dogs or for dogs that need exercise but don't play well with others.

It's very much in a pine forest, so there is lots of shade and the ground cover is a mix of dirt, leaves, and pine cones/pine needles. Watch out to not trip on roots.

The park is conveniently located right off of I-40 or Tryon Rd in a quite neighborhood. There is a community center right next door as well.

Highly recommended!

Only thing is sometimes there aren't any dogs there but I attribute that to it being chilly out. Really large open area with lots of trees, so I'm sure it will be shady in the summer time. Only have met nice dogs there so far (*maybe* some grumpy older ones).
Really safe place for my year and a half old golden retriever.

Not a bad park to stop at. Lots of shade like everyone said and some seating. Sure it's got dirt, but hey dogs love that so...overall my dog had a great time.

This dog park has 2 fenced areas. 1 small for small dogs & 1 big for the big dogs. Lots of trees available for tinkling on too! Actually I think the trees should be thinned out some!

Very shaded with a great place to throw balls. Didn’t bring one, there are plenty around. Bring a towel because your dog will undoubtedly want to get in the dog tub to cool off.

An absolutely great dog park. This place is 1: huge 2: shaded and 3: ultra secure. It's also not very busy. All the other pups seem well mannered. The park is clean enough (most dog owners appear to clean up when necessary). I will say that the ground is a forest floor... meaning dirt, not mulch or grass... I mean sandy black loam dirt. If you have a dog that likes to roll around in dirt, let me assure you that you are going to bathe your dog when you get home.

Great park, every once in a while you get an owner who won't pick up, or that will not pay attention to his/ her dog, but that's like in every park

Great large open area for the dogs to have room to run and relax. Several spots to hang out for dog owners while their dogs play.

This park is backed up into the corner of the larger park so it looks small until you get inside. The place is massive and has a lot of tree cover. the neighborhood is friendly and the walk over is great. I take my kids by to check out the variety of dogs and owners that come.

I love this park if your traveling with pets great place to stop. Not far off the highway, gives dogs room to stretch out. Several different fenced areas, so if your pup likes alone time you'll find room for him. The local people were so kind. Area is full of shade for dogs, so I'm sure bugs could be rough on damp days. You might need a jacket on cool days, but the dogs love it... There is a water station and serveral buckets. We travel a lot this is one of best dog parks I have been too.

Nice and really big dog park took my shy puppy to try and get her socialized and none of the other dogs there were mean. All seemed to be relaxed as well as the owners seemed attentive to their dogs. There are poop bags+trash cans and even two little swimming pools that dogs can play around in (my pups favorite part)

I love this dog park. It’s a nice mix of younger and older people, but everyone watches their dogs so there’s no ugly scuffles. Unless it’s been recently mulched, it can get a little muddy when it rains, but just remember to bring a towel! There’s tons of water buckets around too & a water filling station. Doggy bags are provided for cleaning up after your sweet little stinker too. Great park, I take my little one as often as I can.

Great dog park! Lots of space for dogs to run around! Shaded by trees. Lots of balls in case you forgot to bring your own. Benches to sit on while you wait for your pup. Includes a small dog park section too if you don’t want you small breed pooch to get trampled on. Small plastic pool and water filling stations for you thirsty pup. Parking lot is kinda small, but had no problem finding a spot. Great find!

Beautiful dog park that's spacious and shaded. There are three separate dog areas, which is perfect for small or shy dogs to have their own space. There's picnic benches to sit on, dog bags, and water for your pups! It's the best dog park I've been to so far in the area.

Clean, lots of shade, different areas for the dogs to explore and the other owners actually kept an eye on their dogs. A decent amount of shaded seating. A nice alternative to the new Dorothea Dix dog park which becomes unbearably hot.

My favorite park to come to! Never had an issue with other dogs and there's plenty of shade on hot days. I'm not a fan of how small the small dog area is. But that's with every park. So I bring my little fur baby in with the big dogs and hope for the best!

I enjoy taking my cockapoo to Carolina Pines Dog Park. This is a very large dog park with three separate sections. It is fairly well maintained and the people that visit the park seem friendly and attentive to their dogs. There is plenty of parking here. There are bags and tennis balls available here to use. There is also a water spout and plenty of buckets. I recommend this dog park.

Very nice wooded dog park. Shady and natural, very relaxing. There are three areas for dogs, big dogs, small and I guess just special dogs? When we were there the dogs and people were all very friendly. Other areas are available of your dog needs a little less stimulation. Probably or go to dog park even it's a bit more of a drive.

Love this place... there's almost always at least 1 other dog there. On weekends it gets crowded, but it's a big place so plenty of room for everyone (2 and 4 legged). Most owners are really responsible about minding their pet. It could use a few more chairs that aren't busted up and/or broken but I like walking around while I'm there so that isn't really a big deal for me.
