Famous Toastery

Loved dining inside. We got seated in this little separate room with only a few tables, and that was great. Unfortunately that also meant we had a hard time getting a server's attention. The food and the drinks were fantastic. Exception: The chunky potatoes they serve with breakfast may not be for everyone. We will definitely come back here though!

Yummy food. Good atmosphere. Great pricing. Some constructive criticism would b3 the coffee was burnt and servers were nice but not as attentive as they could have been. I would suggest this place for breakfast or brunch.

We had a table of 8. We're seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive as well as others who helped when it needed. 3 of us are medically gluten free which is why we choose to eat there. No doubt the best GF waffles I've ever had. Everyone loved their meals. Looking forward to next time!

1 - I haven’t been to a restaurant in a long time that has this extensive of a list for gluten-free options! Try the gluten-free French toast. It’s amazing.

2 - Everything on the menu is tasty! Pictured is the avocado Benedict, very creative than delicious menu item.

3 - they also have beyond sausage which I have trouble finding in the grocery store sometimes! Very very very very very very very hard to find a restaurant with this many gluten-free options and beyond meat/vegetarian options. Well done!

Food was delightful and service was great! This next sentence is not meant for the restaurant:

To the blonde lady (sat sort of in the middle of the floor) who was talking at the top of her lungs to her friend sitting directly across from her... Please be respectful of the patrons around you. Had you not been present, my food would have tasted even better.

As for the overall experience, I will definitely return for more biscuits and gravy, and am highly satisfied with the customer service! Thank you!

Best experience for a first time visitor. Service was on point, food was on point, location was on point. The breakfast and brunch items are a great way to start your morning or afternoon. The waiting staff was friendly and very comforting to the guests. Definitely recommended!

Very nice place with surprisingly good gluten and dairy free options. Had the avocado toast and it was fresh and delicious as well as the orange juice being freshly squeezed.

We have been here twice and have been wowed by the food, quick service, and the atmosphere. Their omelets are wonderful as are their flapjacks. It's a place where friends gather and linger over an unhurried and very pleasant meal. What a treat!

Karoline was our waitress but every single server; hostesses; busboy were top notch!! Absolutely fantastic customer service. We ate outside seating; nicely spaced apart.

I had Jasmin green tea, the breakfast burrito with eggs, onions, peppers, tomatoes. Smoked sausage (I think cheddar cheese) but I didn’t notice it. Salsa on the side and side of season potatoes! Potatoes were soft and quite tasty.

First off, the portion size was absolutely ridiculous!! Had no way to actually eat everything on my plate; but I tried!! 🤣😂

I realize I don’t care for green peppers in my burrito but definitely not a deal breaker. Just picked them off.

6/2/24 I was gonna write a review saying how good this place is but apparently I’ve already done one before. But in response to the Marie York person. I overheard your conversation and it was so painful hearing you ordering. You were so confusing and so rude to the waiter when she was trying to accommodate your requests. All you did was complain the whole time after she left, biggest Karen vibes I’ve felt in a while lol. Also, the prices comment is weird. You can legit see the prices online before you come in. If you can’t afford something, maybe get something cheaper or something in your budget. Anyways, thanks to the 2 Hispanic and white waiters I had. Y’all were great

Great food ,great service and atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and inviting.We were greeted and welcomed with a smile on their faces.

Lately I've been learning to enjoy my own company in spaces where I would typically gather with others. I popped in prior to catching a matinee at CMX CinéBistro. It would be too early of a show to enjoy the dining at the theater, so I decided to grab breakfast on the patio at Famous. I was seated immediately on the patio while observing families enjoy a meal together. Service here was excellent. From the hostess to the waitresses and server. I enjoyed shrimp and grits with a grapefruit juice. The dish was very rich and there was plenty of andouille sausage and shrimp to enjoy in the flavorful grits.

I would return again when in the area.

Tasty food and reasonable price. The atmosphere is lovely, and they have a separate room for large groups. Also, servers are hospitable! Coffee tastes and smells very good!

I went with two others for breakfast. We were instantly greeted and told there would be about a 10 minute wait, no big deal. Less than 10 minutes later our name is called and we're seated.

The waitress took no time at all helping us to decide on drinks and bringing them to us. The waiters and waitresses here help each other out, so don't be surprised if someone who isn't your waiter comes by to take your order. A gentleman swung by our table and took ours, he was extremely patient and made sure everything was correct before putting the order in. I was excited to find out that you can order lunch and breakfast all day, so I ordered lunch for breakfast.

The food was amazing! I ordered the club, the sandwich was huge! A double decker filled with turkey, ham, bacon, mayo, and lettuce (got mine without tomato). Easily one of the best clubs I've ever had. My friend got the combo and added an egg and another flapjack to it. She said hers was absolutely delicious. Boyfriend got a breakfast burrito. He said it was a little strong on avocado but fantastic as well. He loved it.

This restaurant has a very welcoming, classy atmosphere. The wait staff are all curtious and friendly and extremely attentive. The food delicious. This place is definitely worth a try, but you better hurry, because they're only open for breakfast and lunch.

I had the Famous Hash breakfast and was very impressed. The hash was cooked with a light crisp outside and moist inside. The salt level was the right amount which often may not be the case at other places. What really surprised me was the hollandaise sauce. The flavoring was perfect! The lemon flavor was perfect-enough to know it's there but not overwhelming the dish. Staff was very friendly and accommodating allowing me to choose my table. The decor is relaxing and the bathroom was clean. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were in town to visit family came in to have family breakfast. The food was wonderful and we had a great time. Service was excellent, Angel was very nice and gave us suggestions on where to eat next. Good food and service.

Famous Toastery is definitely a place to visit next time you're near the Cary area. Their strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast is a must when coming here! The service was quick and efficient too. We had everyone come visit us in case we needed anything but Lisbet was by far the best server of all. Will definitely come again.
