Amelia Grace Animal Hospital

After a bad experience with a previous vet, one of our dogs gets anxious about the vet and everyone at Amelia Grace Animal Hospital have been so patient and kind as our pup gets warmed up. Our other dog is not fearful of the vet at all and is always excited to see the staff. They are great to love on and take great care of your pets. They’re knowledgeable, honest, & most importantly, you can tell they care! We moved further away but I can’t bring myself to take my babies anywhere else!

I absolutely adore this hospital. Dr. Zick and her staff are simply amazing. Ever since we moved from Florida, we have been bringing our pets here. Even after moving an hour away from Clayton, NC, we still choose to bring our pets here. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets. We have to bid farewell to one of my seniors, Dr. Zick has been incredibly kind and understanding, taking the time to go through my options and listen to me, even when I was highly upset on the phone. I can't say enough about them. 😊

They go above and beyond to make sure your pet has the best care and experience possible! My poor pittie had a swollen paw, and he wouldn't eat. Their appointments were booked out to August, but they said I could just drop him off, and they'd fit him in between appointments. True to their word, they treated him and called me when I could pick him up that same day! They're always very kind, and you can tell the people that work here really care about the animals that come through their door. The prices are even reasonable! I won't be taking my pets anywhere else but here. :)

Amelia Grace sets the gold standard for veterinary care. Our experience with them over the past few years has consistently exceeded expectations.

Dr. Witt has performed surgeries on two of our dogs with exceptional skill and compassion. I've never felt rushed or as if I were an inconvenience during our conversations.

The entire team at the front office is both courteous and efficient. Whether it's follow-up calls or scheduling appointments, they handle everything with professionalism and are super friendly.

The vet techs, especially Hannah who we've worked with the most, are amazing. Hannah's very compassionate and pays attention to detail. She always welcomes our boys with compliments and ensures they feel comfortable and cared for.

There is no way I can't mention Dr. Zick. When we lost my boy, Sawyer, a few months ago, Dr. Zick went above and beyond. She took my call at 7:30 AM on a Monday, rearranged her schedule, and even came to our home with Hannah to provide compassionate end-of-life care. Their kindness and support during what was one of the worst days of my life will always be remembered and appreciated. In the days that followed, the entire staff sent a personalized card expressing their condolences.

There have been other instances with not such a sad ending where help was needed and every time, help was received.

While some reviews may mention occasional delays, such as wait times in the lobby or for medication refill pickups, I believe these are a testament to the team's dedication to prioritizing urgent cases and providing personalized care, even if it means a brief inconvenience for others.

Every member of the Amelia Grace team has consistently demonstrated excellence in veterinary care, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our visit with Dr. Zick and her staff today was nothing short of amazing. They could not have been more caring with my sweet, but anxious, Shepherd mix. She received the most thorough and all encompassing exam and visit. It became very apparent that my girl's overall, not just physical, well being was paramount to our new vet. Thank you all so much.

The employees are truly amazing. They took care of our Yorkie like if he was their own, and made the loss as gentle as possible. The vet is incredible and they will do the best they can. Thank you all for being amazing. It was just his time at an old age.

Dr. Zick and staff is amazing! We have been going since they first opened; the pups get excited about going to the vet. They are truly spoiled there. Dr. Zick, Hannah and Shelly are our favorites:). They go the extra step to make the visit special for the pups. The prices have increased like everything else with the inflation but the care provided is worth it and I know my pups are in good hands.

Impressed from the start. We were hesitant to pull our pooches from previous vet but after a couple of moves, proximity didn’t make sense and Amelia Grace was right down the street, wish we had done it sooner. From the reception staff to the techs and on to the vets, everyone has been top notch. Only been delayed one time and was for a couple of back to back emergencies that came into the office that obviously took precedence. Even then, they kept us updated and let us know where things stood. Just a well run office and compassionate staff.

I have always felt my dogs are well cared for by the staff here.

Our dog has been fearful since he was a puppy and is now 18 months old. Our previous Vet, at another location has never been able to touch him and just stated that we needed to find another Vet. We set up an appointment at Ameila Grace for them to evaluate him. He has had 3 Happy Visits with Dr. Witt where she lets him get to know her. On the 3'rd Happy Visit he now leans up against her and jumps up on her. So glad we found Ameilia Grace and Dr. Witt.

The staff is prompt and quick to acknowledge you and my dog doesn't seem nervous at all when we go there. Any of the vets I have visited with answer all my questions without me feeling foolish for asking. I love this place!

Great practice with caring staff! We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our senior dog to sleep very recently - they were compassionate, sympathetic, and caring as they guided us thru the process. We even received a handwritten sympathy card from them! Should we get another dog there is no where else we will take them!

The time spent with Peanut and me was both generous and well informed. All questions were answered in a 'non rushed' manner with
excellent detail and clarity. Receptionist was upbeat and knowledgeable, also.

As a previous vet tech, I was very impressed with a Amelia Grace. It was very clean. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable. They always had a smile, and we’re so willing to help with anything.It was peaceful and not chaotic. I recommend Amelia Grace to anyone that has any pets. This is where my dog Shai will be from now on. 🐶

We have been patients here for the last 2 years since moving to the area and AG is by far the best vet’s office we have ever been to! Every staff member is so caring towards the animals, and I never have to worry when taking our dog here. We have seen all three doctors and have loved them all. Our dog had a recent dental cleaning and surgery here and the care was top notch!

They are super kind and considerate providers. Would highly recommend.

I really love this office. I take my entire precious zoo over here. Everyone is so kind and courteous, from the front desk to the technicians and doctors. My dog wasn’t doing well very suddenly and Dr. Zick did a phenomenal job in diagnosing her with the correct condition and getting her an appt for the emergency hospital right away for surgery.

During my recent experience, Nikki was wonderful and so knowledgeable and patient with my (often-dramatic) chihuahua and Dr. Carson was so thorough when it came to the doggy dental! Both kept in contact with me every step of the way. I was very nervous because it was my dog’s first time getting a dental procedure, but it all went very well. I am so grateful for all the wonderful staff here. They always do their best to accommodate you if your fur baby ever has an emergency. I will most likely still take my pets to this office if I ever move in the future.

I've been to many vets, and this is a great vet. I usually do not have to wait long. Everyone is super nice. Dr. Zick is amazing, kind, and explains things really well. Their waiting room and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. I wish I'd started taking my dogs there sooner.

This was our first visit. Setting up initial appointment and contact from that point on was very easy. Staff were very helpful and friendly and great with the animals.

I cannot express gratitude enough for all the wonderful people at Amelia Grace.

I started with them mid-2020 with my adult cat, and 8-week pld puppy. They worked with me every step of the way and made me feel comfortable and confident that fur babies were receiving the best care.

Since then, we have identified some allergies with my pup and arthritis in my cat. But I still feel amazingly at ease with all the staff at Amelia Grace.
