Municipal Park

This place is a gem! The splash pad was nice and clean right beside the parks so the kids can go from the splash pad to the park and I also live at the restrooms are right there.

My son had a ball at the splash pad! There were lots of different areas of water for many kids to enjoy at once. There is seating around the water area as well.

It's an awesome place to go! My kid has a blast and so do I. Plus it's a beautiful location and Free!! Definitely recommend.

Wow!!! This place is fabulous! This park used to be a run down playground. I used to dread taking my son there but it was the closest place. They totally redid it and added a splash pad along with big open areas. There are also basketball hoops. My son loves this park and we have so much fun when we go! Do not hesitate to try this SPLASH PARK out if you have kids. They will have a BLAST!!

Brand new park with water features and five separate play structures next to it. Fits a wide range of ages and play styles. It seems like water turns off by 8pm.

Plenty of shaded picnic benches to use while your kids play. Cool climbable equipment with a shade now and an awesome splash pad in the summer.

This park is very nice. Newly reopen or remodeled i am a new resident to Clayton area. I stumbled upon this park when they where working on it. The splash pad is cool. 2 full court basketball goals. Awesome walking track and a jungle gym that makes adults want to try it.!

This would be amazing if they'd provide seating 😳

Eta: we have been back and now it's a great place! Ramadan for shade and grills and tables. The kids had a blast and there's a ton of parking

This park has been wonderfully redesigned. Definitely needed revitalizing. The Splash Pad is a wonderful attraction. Alot of screen space for flying a kite, having a picnic or throwing around a Frisbee. Also, has nice basketball court.

Great Park. Plenty of open space and play area. Would be great for a birthday party!

My grandkids enjoyed playing on the playground. It was nice and clean and well maintained.

Edit: The park was completely torn down and redone. It’s pretty great, especially with the splash pad!!

This park could be so much better!! There were nice tire swings, but they were taken down for some reason. There is room for a lot more play equipment. A picnic shelter would be really nice too.

Best splash park in the area. Lots of shaded picnic table areas.

What a great park! We drove from about 30 mins away because we were checking out the Clayton General Store’s milkshakes. We looked for a park to take the kids to, & we found this one. It was AMAZING! The kids played for way over two hours, & we had to make them leave with promises of the ice cream. They were begging for more time &/or a return trip.

Clean bathrooms, great splash pad, fun playground, big field for throwing/kicking a ball or playing tag, plenty of tables for bringing lunch, & ample parking space.

We love this park!!! Especially in the summer when the splash park is open. Great walking trail attached as well!!

Municipal Park has taken it to another level of fun and excitement. Especially with the record heat this summer, the water park is amazing, clean, and well designed. There are clean restrooms and plenty of covered picnic areas for families.

The park was clean and offered a nice playground, a splash pad, covered picnic tables and benches & swings. This is a newer park, so there are no shade trees, but the splash pad was a lot of fun and the rest would be nice on a cooler day.

This is the second time I have been here, the first using the splashpad. The playground, shelters, bathroom, and splashpad were all in great condition. I love that all of the kid equipment is surrounded by green space and not near the roads. Being flat is also a plus. It is easy to keep any eye on children as they go between equipment.

We were the rabies shot clinic sponsored by the Clayton Police Department! It was a fun time.
