Just want to recognize 2 people at Clayton parks and rec. Coach Mike Johnson and Nick rummage. Recently my son fractured his ankle during a game. After the injury, Mike and Nick reached to us checking up to see how my son was recovering. Also like to express my gratitude towards all the parents who assisted with getting my son from the gym to my car! We are extremely grateful for this! Thanks again! Looking forward to next season!

Constantly upgrading nearby parks and making them nicer all the time. Very happy with everything they do for our growing community!

Parks and rec has become a cash grab to take advantage of both “residents” and non residents. Prices for adult league sports have now hit 50 for residents and 100 for non. Have also set resident map to only include one zip code in Clayton to promote more income. You can go to Raleigh, Cary, garner , wake forest and pay less as a non resident that to play in your own town of Clayton.

Was a partner program with them for 3 sports, pre pandemic and once they opened up they gave our
spot away after years of working together for no reason when every other rec center saved our spots. Director never gets back to you and the program manager doesn’t want to offer quality programs for children, only wants to do the bare minimum and put in small programs that only benefit a few adults in Clayton.

Please take your children somewhere else that cares and somewhere with more quality programs.

Unorganized, and chaotic. Constantly trying to switch rules and don't inform coaches, parents, or officials.
