A Taste of China

Consistantly great food. I go 3-4 times a month. It is always the same, delicious. Friendly ladies that run it and the sanitation grade is consistently at 96% or higher. The fried dumplings are addictive.

Please update your menu prices on your web site. If you offer a item on the menu. You should have it. Otherwise remove it from the menu. If a customer spends a certain amount. A free soda should be offered, or something free. My suggestion, love the food.

Food is really good for a takeout dinner. Portions are large, and I have never had a bad meal.

Best place around. Food is always so much cleaner tasting (and looking!) than anywhere else. Fried rice isn’t soaked like other places, very nicely seasoned, not overbearing. This is hands down our go to! Other reviews mention about their service… we’ve always has great service, then again, we’ve always been nice and talkative to them ;-)

LOVE THEIR FOOD! Best seseme chicken and shrimp egg rolls

The worst thing about this place is that it's closed on Mondays! I felt compelled to write this review after reading a few one stars. I havent been here in a few months and hesitated to order because of those reviews, worrying that the quality of the food had gone down. Nope! Still the best Chinese in town!

Every time I move I have to find a new "favorite" Chinese place. I have tried every other Chinese in Clayton, but I specifically make a 15 minute drive to this place because it is hands-down the best. They only do orders over the phone or in store, and have no delivery, but its worth it. I've lived here for 6 years and the quality has always been on-point and has been consistent.

Keep in mind this isnt a fancy restaurant so if thats what youre looking for, go to Sushi Iwa down the street and fork out almost $100 for a couple of dishes. This is a typical hole-in-the-wall type takeout restaurant with the owner's kids sitting around doing their homework and the Asian folks in the back screaming at each other in mandarin.

BEST CHINESE IVE EVER HAD
I travel a lot and have had many many Chinese places around the U.S. this is by far the best. I just love it is very close to home. Some comments say the staff isn’t very talkative or welcoming, they are not mean to me ever but I will say they are very busy and they stay that way. I’ve been going here for 5+ years, they have never once got my order wrong, and that’s something to say about a restaurant these days!! When family is in town we order 10+ meals and they are all correct, always. Don’t miss out on this place it is amazing.

I absolutely love this place! We order at least once a week, usually getting General Tso's chicken, eggrolls, vegetable fried rice, and friend dumplings. Food is always full of flavor and is a good price considering how much food you get.

I've never had "poor" quality from a Taste of China. I've visited many similar establishments and I've had dishes that were too "fishy", too spicy/hot, too greasy, etc, but a Taste of China has always been very, very consistent over the past twelve plus years. That's pretty darned good in my book!

Boy oh boy their food always hits the spot and always leaves me wanting more. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an issue. Their staff is really great and extremely efficient. I highly recommend this place 10/10!!!

The Sesame chicken combo is delish & the Chicken Chow mein. Been going here for years. Never got sick either like from other places
